I thought that was pretty obv ever since the "moon bursting" ending scene of ep27?? >< It reminded me of AOL scene with the phoenix flying high up and bursting into fireworks when the main couple was lying behind the bushes lol

So, if I remember correctly the emotion left for the stone to gather is greed right? I say that's quite the fitting emotion we have here with the way that "Devine Maiden" Luan Zhu seems to move...She really copied Goddess Xing Yue to a T from the bracelet to the outfit and even how she acts! So sick...I suppose she is someone who had an unrequited love for Jing Yuan back then...BTW the flashback scenes shown (although with Xing Yue's real face altered) seem to be really flashbacks from the past and the outfits and scenery match the one from the opening scene!! BUT what's confusing for me is the fact that based on ALP Goddess Xing Yue and True Demon God Jing Yuan never had such a "break up" scene...If anything back then Xing Yue's love was unrequited for the most part and then after loving eo she even ended up dying for him...So that scene makes little sense except if they plan to go off course from the prequel?

Honestly this is me between TBL and MM so far TT When one picks up pace and I start liking it more the other will falter... So far in 2025 only FP truly grasped my full attention from ep1 but I sadly had to stop watching cause of having a S2/2nd part (I don't want to forget the plot).

Oh...I bet it's one of those dramas that will have much turbulence and break up mid-way through the series? So they have to start the romance early on...It's not an uncommon trope in cdrama as long as it's done well & somehow reasonably I don't mind lol

I noticed too! The bgm and ost choices are less messy now and the plot is also picking up! Things are really getting better ^^

Are everyone set on bringing the old classic tropes back to life?? AOL, ALP etc. I mean not that I mind...As long as they can pull it well I am ready for the angst (well or so I say as I prepare my tissues lol)

I finally found some time to catch up, and wow, this drama has really picked up lately! To be honest, I wasn't as invested in the beginning and had a bit of trouble getting into it. But the recent episodes have been such a joy to watch, and if it continues at this pace, it might just become my new favorite! ><
And with that said, the Stone Clan arc has to be my favorite so far!! The reunion of the brothers was heartbreaking to watch, though. TT
The truth is that love and hate will always go with each other hand in hand. They are both intense emotions and often come from a deep place in our hearts whether it’s due to passion, attachment, or disappointment. Especially when you have to struggle under difficult circumstances alone and fend for yourself. It's easier and hurts less to hate. So I think Bai Shuo's words had truth in them and struck a chord for Chen Ye as well, which is why he got so defensive right after!

Was Mo Li a villain in ALP as well?? It's been years since I saw that one so I don't remember much from it...Also the mark on CZ forehead makes me think of other scenarios too...Could CZ be Moli or is CZ the lost brother after all?? That was taken away by the Eternals and raised maybe after the elimination of the tiger clan?? If it's Chen Ye then the tiger clan was probably eliminated by the Cold palace master to hide his trucks hm...Many possibilities here...

Like it really struck a chord in me and finally they used the Ost appropriately to make ugly cry harder!! And FY formally introducing her and them hugging tightly after 😭
Honestly, this was the best scene sequence so far for me I think along with BS's awakening after her father's death!

So there is a high chance both Fuling AND Chen Ye are the lost siblings of the main couple...And they were both mistakenly taken by the Cold Palace master thinking it was FY & BS!! FY's grandfather seems to have already known FY real identity as him being the reincarnation of 1 of the 4 true gods/Demon god from 60k years ago!! Hense saying his life matters more than the clan and giving his other grandson away (even though it backfired eventually since the tiger clan still killed everyone).
I bet Chen Ye will still hold resentment against his grandpa and clan but let's see how it goes...And I am really curious about Fuling's reaction too!! But mostly about WHY did the cold palace master do this?? What is he trying to achieve??

On ep21 right now and the plot keeps thickening...Also, I don't know about everyone else but the Baize clan flashback with FY's backstory made me cry like a baby...I found it even more emotional than the previous ep with the fox clan!

The way the Douban ranking order aligns with mine lol But yeah Douban scores are always low so anything around 6-7 it's considered nice score and hopefully they will rise further~

Personally I first saw her here in Blossoms of Adversity and after that I checked out most of her works like Fall in Love and in Lighter & Princess (which I definitely reccomend as well) !! She is a good actress and knows how to pick nice scripts cause all these 3 cdrama were briliant!

Well at least with Fangs of fortune there was bigger variety of soundtracks (that cdrama truly has some of the best soundracks ever) so it didn't get as tiring but here they seem to keep replaying that one same song of SDD TT

Well kinda same especially about the blackening 2ML always having to be the final boss and dying or losing everyone else after the main couple finally gets together for the last few mins of the finale lol I mean I will still eat it up since I am a big fan of the "old classics" but I definitely wouldn't mind some creativity and new tropes either...

She is a queen of osts for me! So yeah I can't really complain either...

Oh...Are they gonna bring all the old classic tropes back?? This is such an Ashes of Love moment if they do haha...I mean I will eat it up either way! This drama keeps reminding me of some of my faves but like blended all together other time it gives me ALP other AOL or even EL.
