Fair enough! 7 years of several loops probably helped him advance! However it was also shown to us that not all loops were used for training or food for thought lol Sometimes the loops would come on random and unsuitable settings like his thesis writing, getting almost drowned or the lottery one etc.

Oh and another thing I found unique and interesting for this type of show, is how the MC can still go back even if he dies in his current timeline. This was one of my main concerns when I started watching. Since he is a cop, I worried about what would happen if he got injured. Would he still be able to go back unharmed? I'm glad they addressed this right from the start!

Currently watching ep1 and I can't help but notice that our ML already has this overwhelming MC "golden aura" going for him. Cause how is it possible for him to take care of all the robbers alone in the 3rd loop, while all of his fellow police officers are getting killed left and right in the 4th loop, just waiting for him to save the day once again? Is the ML the only police officer who can take them on?

I seriously found myself laughing at how absurd it all was lol I get that they had to make it fail smh cause of the "5 loops rule" thing but the scriptwriter could have found a better way. I know it's a drama, so it’s expected to have some unrealistic elements like in almost any other show, but this felt a bit too blatant for my taste.

Aside from that, I think it was an okay opening episode! I just hope they won’t continue to make everyone around the ML look incompetent so he can shine more. It’s fine occasionally, but if it happens too often, it can become tiring. Plus there are better ways to do it!

P.S I actually liked the slight comedy they added in some scenes lol I initially thought it would have a more dark vibe since there was no comedy tag but the 1st ep was quite light! Ofc that might change later...

I was just about to start this lol So from which episode do you think it started going downhill? Also can you tell me how much romance this series has? Usually, for this type of shows, I prefer to keep it at minimal!

Imagine having the King dance for you...That scene was gold! >< Btw the whole malnourished prince brought back to consciousness from her cooking was kinda cringy to watch though lol But other than that I enjoyed it! Cannot wait for next week~

PMY looked fantastic in that doctor's outfit! I seriously did not expect this look to suit her so well! And the ending scene with her, Guho and some probably paid actors made them resemble the Avengers walking like that lol For a heartless chairwoman like her, this is the perfect form of revenge! I can't wait for episode 7 to drop!

Btw after remembering about the FL's reason for continuing her acting career, it made me appreciate her performance here and empathize with her role even more.
For anyone who doesn't know she has lost full custody rights of her two children following her divorce with her chaebol husband...In an interview she said that for her acting has now become her way of staying in touch with them by appearing more on screen so they can see her...

Oh I haven't started that one yet! How is the show overall so far? As for the angst, I am kinda in the mood for it since I haven't watched any recently...But ofc still wishing for a happy ending ><

Okay, today's ep was so good and satisfying to watch! And finally now that the competition is over we can get back to the main plot! Get ready for the angst though, cause based on the preview tomorrow's ep will be something else...

I can't believe we've been dealing with this competition for almost 4 episodes now and it's still not over lol It will probably extend into episode 9 next week as well and hopefully end. I wish we could see more overall plot progression instead of them dragging out the competition so much. But regardless, I'm still super excited for next week because the preview looked super interesting and finally things happening that don't involve just cooking!

Okay, episode 4 definitely made up for ep3 for me! I absolutely loved it, especially their plan to take down that fraud critic. Btw the side plot is getting more interesting now that she has discovered more information through the painting. It also seems that James was the one who helped her back then?

Btw I just noticed smth important while watching the whole intro again! We are shown the FL holding TWO children's hands on each side of her!! What if the copycat killer is that other kid or at least the one who led him to the well?? That would explain how they know so much about the mother/son pair...
Now the real question is...What's the other child's identity??

Edit: Okay watching ep4 rn and I think the child's identity might be that neighbor's son who would always come over!! Since his mother left him, he must have considered ML's mother as his own and let's not forget he went as far as to self-harm to get her attention!

I’m currently watching the new episodes and wow episode 3 was such an upgrade from the previous eps! Things got really intense and the mother-son scenes were so explosive, filled with complicated emotions.

I can really get the son’s perspective here. All that anger towards her it was due to him feeling abandoned by her, because she chose to kill for her own pleasure and put that over him. Even though she tries to justify her actions by targeting abusers, it’s apparent that she doesn’t act out of empathy for other victims; she’s just satisfying her own thirst for blood and control. Having a psychopath as a mother it's not for the weak.
Btw I love how they keep the mystery going about who is the real copycat! The script is truly well written and manages to keep you invested throughout! There are still some minor acting issues with the supporting cast or maybe I just can't seem to like the way they play their character overall but that's of little concern to me for now!

Comparing these two shows is like comparing apples to oranges. Although both have comedy as one of their primary focus, the overall feel and vibe of each show are completely different so making a comparison difficult. Plus so far, BA has done a better job with the script and world-building if you ask me. The quality of CQ's script/editing in ep3 was a bit rough on the edges.

I think they just underestimated him...Since they are used to bigger cons they didn't consider the guy as much of a threat and took him as your average fraud art critic who tries to con for some money. However after FL realized he is connected to the masked guys she should have taken it more seriously indeed and should have realized that he wouldn't be as simple...This was indeed a flawed part of the script in this ep!

The episode opens with our trio already putting their plan into motion and only midway through, it cuts back to show how it all started. By the end of the episode, we discover that the fraud art critic has already figured them out! If he knows about their scheme, why would he still allow her to attend the VIP charity auction? And how come none of the three noticed him on the side of the road with his car?

Additionally, we got hinted at with that painting FL remembered from the past, that this critic is no simple minion and seems to have connections to the masked child trafficking team that abducted the FL and Guho when they were children. He is not your typical villain, he is truly suspicious, cautious and lecherous.

I’m excited to watch tomorrow’s episode to see how our trio will manage to get out of this one! I’m also curious to find out what connection the FL will uncover between these two.
