Uhm… it’s different. I have massive bias for TTEOTM (because I love the book n I love LYX n BL pairing, n because LYX n BL are exactly how the book described the characters), so I went into TTEOTM already loving it lol. while there were things changed n I didn’t like it, due to the fact that I love the book, I understand the reasons for the change, n BL n LYX still acted so well and the costumes n ost are good still, so it’s still a great drama.

I went into feud without knowing ZSX, n I didn’t buy their CP during all these events they had outside. I do like her shorts with him but that’s about the extent of it. so I went into feud without much bias like TTEOTM, n I enjoyed feud a lot. I especially appreciate n love ZSX’s acting and performance at BJS. n while there are some funny costume n makeup, when BL needs to be pretty n beautiful, she’s drop dead gorgeous. the music are also very good here. if you are looking for awesome fight scenes n cgi like TTEOTM then this one perhaps lacking on that department. but story wise, it’s no less engaging or wonderful than TTEOTM. like I have said to many others, watch it without reading spoiler, don’t have judgement, n just pay attention to the storyline. (the second u already determine to dislike it, you will miss the “charm” of this series lol)

@EstherYuuu you have given this show 1/10 rating since ep8, which is like 2 days after it aired. so ok, you don’t like the show, no one asked you to. but you constantly come back here to bash it show you are truly bored and very immature lol. I can get it if you come back on the 3/4th day. but this has been 2 weeks now, the drama is almost finished, yet you are still here trashing? 🙄 and no, I’m not stopping you from posting your hates. I just want to let other knows how long you have been doing this. keep at it 🙄

well, I’m like half splitting between here n x lol. the conversation is just lively there. also I also don’t want to read ppl’s theories as it’ll spoil my enjoyment of the drama lol. I want to guess but I don’t want to be “confirmed” lol. it’s a complicated feeling for me 🤣

same, I’m scared of that ending. the second I knew of the illusion I’m like oh no 😑 this is like inception 😑😑😑😑😑 n yes, I’ll swear at YZ for sure but then I kinda expecting this 😭😭😭😭😭 oh my JiuYue!

haha, while I also enjoyed skinship n BL always do excellent kissing scenes, YZ might want to not rely so much on kissing, as haters labelled her (insert bad word in here) for kissing every ML passionately 😒so if Feud n Northward can be successful with minimum kissing, that’s a great way to slap those haters 😒 though I also want more kissing scenes, so I’m like conflicted 😅

it helps when the leads have so much chemistry. right off the bat, as an odd pair couple that doesnt seem to be on the same emotional wavelength. then as a married couple. then as a has to co-living couple. n now as a on-the-mend couple. every step of the way, these two wonderful actors portrayed each emotion so well. they barely have any “passionate” kissing scenes like the usual dramas BL lead, but dare I say their chemistry is just as sizzling 😝

Uhm, about Zhang Shuan, are you being too hard on him? for us, viewers, this drama is only about a few months span for ZS. he knew her for 11 years. feeling doesnt just go like that. is he stubborn? yes. but it’s not like he’s actively sabotaging them. n just like wang xing yue‘a character in one and only, when you used a girl as a reason to live for 10yrs+ (same with ZS, as he also wanted to die after losing his cultivation n foundation), it’s hard to let go of your reason to survive. is it healthy? no. but it’s understandable. n if he didn’t actively harm them, why are we being harsh on someone’s feeling? the heart wants what the heart wants 🤷‍♀️ also why or how ZS lost all his cultivation n foundation?!!!!!! this was sooo left out that it might be important!

he’s quite a gentleman, I’ll be surprised if he hasn’t been snatched up already 😅

we need them to break the ice, n with BJS is a man of few words, n HRY is a lady of too much pride. one will rather never to see each other again, n one will make the other party happy by doing whatever the other party chose to. (hence the scene at the graveyard, when BJS wants to touch HRY, but retracted). so on the surface, it might look like a filler. but in actual fact, it’s to break the ice, n actually get to the main plot of the story, finding out why there’s a feud between them.

the thing is HRY has always been soooo angry at her husband, so skeptical at him, doesnt think he love her. this shows her not only he loves her, her returning his love is what gives him the joyest feeling. it taught to soften up around her husband. u don’t just let go n be at ease immediately after 300-400yrs of hating/deeply mistrust. but the baby form BJS can lower that wall, giving her room to accept the facts. because she might know he loves her n do things for her, but actually knowing for sure he wouldn’t just turn against her giving it another level of reassurance.

because they did it without approval from the higher up, soooo we all wondering if these two knows what’s to do 😅 that’s why they were there for like 70yrs n nothing happened 🤣so yes, the usual “suffering as mortal to level up” should still hold here. it’s just that it never got exercised because these two dummies have no idea 😅n so their trial n tribulation is still in progress, it’s what we are witnessing right now. unlike the usual 3 lives 3 worlds thing, there’s only 1 here

haven’t watched FoF so I won’t comment. n while I love ShenLi, I think ShenLi is the classic xianxia lol, powerful god cant fall in love or he can’t protect the world 🙄n super typical meeting each other when one is “going through a trial”. the plot of ShenLi is pretty slim (I can’t remember much about it accept he’s too god n she’s demon general? n it’s just how they get together?!

TTEOTM was my favourite in term of storyline. but then the drama kinda butcher it, because I love the book, n I won’t ever come down on that hill. I was kinda disappointed that they whitewash TTJ so badly that the angsty point of the book didnt get put on screen correctly (the killing of XL). in the book, he drugged YXW, brainwashed her to kill XL because he couldn’t win the war with XL still alive. n XL was the typical ML, perfect in every way. yet because of censorship n first bill ML has to be perfect-ish, they changed everything!

while feud has a lot of the old usual tropes, but it turns those tropes on its head. feud’s main couple is the support couple in every xianxia that actually make the drama worth watching lol. so in a sense, it brings that new thing in.

lol, there were multiple scenes where QY was stealing glance at the old dude lol. they left enough crumbs for this one

finally you see it! I saw his acting since the beginning, that’s why I’ve been telling ppl that his acting is quite good actually, because what BJS feels is sooooo complex! n he portrayed it so well!

hell knows no furry like a woman’s wrath 😅 when you are intending to kill your unkillable husband, you need to go through hoops n bounds 😅
