and so, HRY accepted that fate (remember she’s against accepting fate). what she did was giving them some happy times n able to be together n work together as a couple. the drama tried to hound on: every mistake n misfortune fall upon u, should not be erased. learn to live with it, because that’s life, be it for mortal or immortal. that’s true enlightenment

as you can see with Ling’Er, her trial also was not because she reborn as a mortal n live a mortal life. this style of trial is from TMOPB, whereas from before, it wasnt even a thing (cmiiw). for xianxia, to level up, it’s about enlightenment. actually going through a mortal life n not being enlightened is just shesh 😒like most of them came out see things such micro level that I wouldn’t call it enlightenment lol. they think just experience mortal struggle = enlightenment 🙄🤦‍♀️ this drama n some before this, tried to show that the enlightenment tend to be that 1 very issue u have with yourself. for HRY, it was going against heaven’s will, fighting fate. (in the end, she accepted that fate cant be changed, if u meant to turn evil, u meant to. if her child meant to be dead, he meant to). for BJS, it’s about upholding the laws n shoulder every responsibility. he learned to trust his wife strong enough to be on her own, n share his burden with her.don’t talk about this one, let’s have a look at Journey to the west. they didn’t reach nirvana after reaching their destination n got the books. they reached nirvana after the monk understand the teaching is coming from within, from understanding the way of Buddhism.

Uhm, u cant plagiarise yourself? if it’s the same writer, she allows to reuse her own lines? she really loves that line?! also it’s words, I love you is used many time everywhere lol. it’s the context n the situation. two scenes happened in very different setting. one is to gain trust from your enemy, one is pouring your heart out. maybe LQY have seen L&D n want to use that great line to fool BJS 🤣🤣🤣

lol, I don’t like/dislike the character. he is what he is. some ppl are just that way. he has his devoted love for her. first u blamed him for not letting go of her, then u blamed him for not voicing his feelings. he knows she knows. he also know who she loves. so why is the need for him to tell her? liking someone is his business, whether he says it or not, is his choice.

@QTR lol, while I understand ppl like to hold onto to this multiverse thing, at the same time, if you think in a much more simple way. in every life time/timeline, they will still have a dead child. they will still struggle n they will still fight because of this issue (like every couple would have if their child is dead, be it accident/sickness), the infinite steel will still be attacked, BJS will still die to protect her, n they will always go through their love trial n ace it with flying colour.
it’s not about I don’t understand the concept of multiverse, but in this context, there is no need for that concept, because the second concept of time travel also work n actually work better. you are busy your mind by creating too many possibilities, when reducing it to just a single outline, it’s simple to see multiverse or not, same ending will happen, is the idea.

the issue isn’t from ZLH, but his fans n maybe his studio? u know about the issue with Tian Xi Wei? that means it’ll a bloodbath when it comes to billing. even though technically BL should be first bill but the fan wars is going to be 🤮 n then there is this moment where he said he would love to work with YZ. n that statement alone caused fans war. anyway, the water is muddy now, so it’s no longer a safe zone for them to work together lol

no, XJS might not happen, or might be, it doesnt matter too much. but they will still fight some evil spirit, n yes, the infinite steel is still getting damaged as it hold up the three realms. BJS is still dying protecting his wife. their child in the mortal world still lost, etc.

and yes, the key point of her changing the past is they face their problems together

I don’t think the story like to just erase the pain of losing the child. it’s not realistic. it’s through this pain, they grow as a couple. the child was never meant to be. it’s important to grieve n work together as a couple to overcome that grief.

I don’t think Joseph is wasted, he might be lacked in screen time but his part of the story comes to its end correctly, at least for me. this feud, from the start, has always been HRY’s problem. it was her stone, never his. he has been loving and fighting for them to be together. it was her wall to knock down. n they need to give her room to do that on her own. so his absence is needed. I love how he didnt say I love you, he said I know you understand me. in his last breath, he didn’t wish her to have a happy life, he wish she doesn’t put herself in a corner. because life is unpredictable, you have to leave yourself a way out or you’ll forever be sad and angry and depress, all these negative feeling. she accepted his death, she mourned his death, which is what we want to see. in life, you can’t resurrect ppl, so be able to grieve is very important. and of course, in true xianxia fashion, no one is resurrectable but ML 😛
