I like both lol. in term of tearjerking, MM wins. but then feud managed to be just as tearjerking in the last 3eps, so it’s equally great. each has their merits, n I love them both. As they are different, it’s hard to compare them
SOKP kinda cheated with the extra episode, n its score was soooo good. plus two handsome leads lol. out of all the ending, I’ll say SOKP is the most satisfied, then come feud n NW. I love MM, but the extra episode here is weaker than SOKP, n too many silk sheet that blur our gorgeous leads 😒TTEOTM is on the bottom for me. why? because the novel has a freaking awesome ending that is full of sugar n important for LSS’s development but nope… 😒

my take on the ending is: their child still die, but they get to mourn together. BJS is still dead because he still chose to protect HRY. that’s why nothing is changed. it doesn’t matter how it happens, key point is the result will be the same. HRY accepted this, so when she goes back to change the past, shes giving them a chance at making better decision together. n not one making decision for the other (which was the problem).

Uhm, in life, just because you can understand where the misunderstanding coming from, doesnt mean u can fix the relationship within a day or two. it’s not like our current time where going back, change the past, change the future, n hence open another reality. in this world, HRY understands her future cant be changed, her son will still die, BjS will still die. how they die, does not matter, it still happens. what important is giving each pair (including the leads) a chance to make their own choices, bear the sadness n hardship of life together. these choices are what helped her pass the love tribulation. there is no dual reality lol

sooo just because she can change the past, that doesnt mean the future will change, she accepted that fact. what she did was give everyone a better chance/choice at life, giving you a choice n not corner you into just 1 solution. like the lotus n Lin Mo, there’s no longer the curse/pain, so she can either continue be with him, be good or be evil, it’ll be her choice from then. n not because the curse forced her into that choice. same with telling the past HRY about what BjS did, but didnt stop her from not killing the dragon. again, giving them a choice at be together n fight together, n mourn the death of their child together. rather than just forced it upon themselves due to misunderstanding. same with the old sect dude, by telling him he can love the girl who give him flowers, she is giving him a way out of just thinking about repaying the debts, n forget to live your own life.
the whole drama’s message is about never to corner yourself. life will be hard, mistakes will be made, but you can’t corner yourself, make your own choice n then be proud of that choice, only then you’ll find true happiness in this life. that freedom of choosing how to live your life is the greatest gift/possession anyone could have.
anyway, because she wasn’t obsessed at fixing every mistake, n trying to change the future. she used the divine object correctly. n in the end, choose to go back to the first time she met BJS, the time lord lets BJS regenerate. because both her n BJS originate from the same origin, n his pearl went to her, just like her pearl went to his. their essence are within each other. that’s why he can come back 🤣 also, as suspected by many of us, this is actually their love tribulation lol, n they passed with flying colour 🤣
so no one mentioned his hair, can we talk how it has different shade of white lol. when BJS first appear n as a child, his hair is pure white. but when he is in the grown up n more matured phase, his hair is peppered/grey (white with black undertone). I love his grey hair, sooo attractive lol. but ZSX can really pull off the white hair, but the grey shade is truly the best in xianxia land
