Uhm at best I’ll be giving it an 8.5 and part of it is because OnO leave a very deep impression on me, and their pair is cute, no doubt, but it’s lacking and the story is getting rather muddle, there is no clear direction where it wants to be as a drama

Yup, all of the above. Most importantly though is I think the script writing for OnO is just so much better, better coherent, every thing has its place, you don’t feel diluted, whereas FnE, there are just bits we don’t need

8.3 is quite high lol. To get 9, you do need a bit more

Lol, even in Vietnam 15yrs ago, the bed scene where they show their bare shoulder were fine with the audiences because everyone knows they are fully clothes 🤣 maybe Allen has never show his shoulder? But I’ve Bai Lu’s a few times lol 😂

But that’s the nature of Netflix shows? They are always good at the beginning and then get really bad as it goes on. Whether or not there are explicit scenes. The only show that is good on Netflix is stranger things. Everything else can be described with 1 word: Netflix lol

They tried to justify so hard for this show. I love Bai lu, I love OnO, I love FnE, but not that much, and problem is I can see it can be much better, but it can’t due to the ML 😞😒 at least, after this drama, I see who’s the sound minded people on this site and I can just not bother with Allen’s drama lol, unless it’s like the ancient period drama 🤣

With my 28yrs of watching drama, I think I can ask for more intimacies lol. I don’t need them full on kissing GoT style but a little more than a forehead kiss. 🤣

Can you stop? Can you stop assuming we watch this show for Allen ren? I watch this show for Bai Lu. I watch this show for OnO. OnO is the story that needs no skinship, and it was a masterpiece! This FnE story needs skinship because the book said so. If you change the book, then you need to compensate to show growth in the leads’ relationship, which there isn’t! So people complains are quite valid

Sorry but I hate GoT, tried it, didn’t like it, glad I dropped it in the first season and not wasted 10yrs to be mad at it 🤣 a better story would be the Witcher if you want to suggest nudity 😜

I’m with you. Yes the man is great eye candy, and a great actor, but there are a lot of drama out there, so I’ll pick the one with great eye candies, great actor and can actually do what is needed for the story lol

Uhm, let’s me tell you my problem: I’m ok with slow burn, but after the slow burn, it needs to keep burning! The reason why I stopped and wait until it all comes out and finished is because why on earth would he let go of her hand after they just consummate their marriage! So ZSC held her hand in front of D Wang just to show off he had her?????? Like what? And why does he still sleep on the couch afterward? You should see he’s closer to her emotionally after their bed scenes but I’m not getting that vibe

I truly didn’t know about Allen ren until OnO was about to be air lawl. I didn’t even know lips double was a thing!!!! Until I saw comments on YouTube lol. I actually kept my expectations low, however iqiyi released that bts of the first scene, which suggested they “actually “ kiss. So you can’t say I can’t complain. They raised my hope then literally slap me across my face with the bed scenes 😒

Lol, you expect everyone know Allen ren. I didn’t. I came for Bai Lu, and I have no problem with no skinship in OnO because that’s the story. But FnE has a huge part of skinship in the novel! So I expected more. And like I said I won’t be watching his future dramas lol, no matter how good it is because if a drama needs intimacy to push it to another level, he won’t deliver it 😞 this whole sequel would have been a 10 like OnO if there were a few more intimacies

Uhm, problem is we are watching a drama, if they don’t display in public and the actor don’t do intimate scenes in the “private” scenes, we got nothing lol. Or what we have is a Luke warm cup of water not a nice tea lol 😜
