My point is you don’t need to feel bad for these actors and actresses, because they knew what they got themselves into, YU Zheng is well known for all the things I said, he was even so proud of himself that he sees other as nothing. Case in point: the case he lost is for the famous Taiwanese writer who wrote the famous return pearl princess series, which is the one that got Ruby Lin to mega star status. Because Ruby sided with her, for all good reasons, YU Zheng bad mouthed Ruby and said if it wasn’t for him, who gave her the main role in beauty scheming, she would be nothing. That’s a man that is so ignorant of his fault and think he’s above everything and everyone

Actually Yu Zheng is famous for creating idol, his dramas be crappy in some sense, but the man knew how to push our buttons, so his drama is quite famous, even if it is for the wrong reason. So any actors and actresses that signed to do his drama guaranteed coverage and fame (might not be a good one, but their name will be trending and popular). Yu Zheng also known for casting young inexperienced or no longer famous actors, all because they are cheaper than the famous and in demand one lol. I would assume ppl would jump at acting for YU Zheng, because they know they get that push, only after the drama, that if they choose the right script and improve acting that they will solidify their stardom.

I know which youtuber you are talking about. And I agree that SWL is a good eye candy, however the plot is far from good lol, and the acting is pretty terrible. And the director is nortorious for butchering source material, putting plagiarism aside, many people vouched to not watch his series. Not only that, his series is style over plot or character development, always sloppy, and many other faults. So the youtuber is pretty normal for avoiding his series, I tend to avoid his series, too, if it wasn’t because I don’t tend to check who’s the producer is, and because I’m a lot weaker than she is, and I saw SWL lol! For the youtuber, she loves drama and always check and find out more information about the drama, and it is her right to watch it or not.

That’s part of the reason why I dislike this series, they tried to introduce so many characters in the first 10ep, then literally discard or kill them so quickly by 16... it’s like we used you to lengthen the eps, now you have served your purpose, die or vanish! At least they make them either have good reason to die or vanish, but then for the new characters in p2, they just don’t care anymore. That’s what sum up about this series, p1 - great everything (not award winning but serviceable), p2 - everything went down hill with lightning speed until it meet hell standard >_>

Don’t think there is “regaining memory part” in the later half lol

Because then she will always be targeted as you can see how dumb her character is, RZ will not have a peaceful day lol! Main problem is they didn’t portray the necessary of “giving up the power” reason strong enough. CY is sick and tired of being used by RZ, for good or bad reason, she’s sick of being a pawn, so in order for him to stay with her, he needed to give up the power otherwise his genius mind won’t be at ease and will start scheming all over again lol.

Well if you want a HE, where the two leads got together, and disregard how they got there, how they characters turn out, then yea. But otherwise, it’s a happy ending for the sake of happy ending while destroying the characters (RZ)

Does it matter? RZ started out as a male concubine, so his integrity is already out of the window lol. Anyway, he did sleep with her, the pregnancy was real

No, tonight is the last airing of the week. So we should get the last 2 eps tonight. However, I skipped 34-50 (tried to watched 32-34 and found myself really bored, and I love SWL and here i am skipping even his parts), but the flash back in 51 and 52 doesn’t seem to be a lot lol!and not that romantic -.-? Also at this stage, they still can’t express their thought and speak truthfully to each other? So frustrating and like what is this? Teenager angsty love? Also is it me or QXT’s acting is really bad in 51 and 52, and their chemistry is awkward none existent.

Well the book according to some fans is kinda confusing who she loves (if you think the king loves drama, you get the idea), as in the book, YX has a curse that he would never get RG’s heart, so he sacrificed everything for nothing lol. But YZH book fans said she clearly loves YZH, while YZH is just very chilled. So if we follow the book, we will have a bit more YZH and RG skinship scenes, and YX will be the same, more whiny and won’t get the girl in the end. Which I’m gonna say make the drama unbearable lol! As YX’s character has so much layers, and like you I enjoyed this drama and think it’s quite unique. I haven’t seen the cdrama BBJX, but I like the script writer, she merged or use the idea of inception and ground hog day into this lol. Let me know if there is other drama she works on, I will keep an eyes out for her :)

Watched ep52, and its not the end? Are we somehow having 54ep now 0.o?

Haven’t seen the last episode yet as I thought it won’t air until tonight? Anyway from just reading your spoiler and other’s, RZ goes to the princess mansion because she is the princess? It’s not like she changes her name after the amnesia? So can’t use that as an indication he remembers everything?
