Well, I started the series liking it despite being reluctant to try it because everyone said it was great. However, as i hit ep6, it daunts on me how long it felt yet I’m only on ep6! Then the grandma appears and I feels like the show has hit the boring part, where it needs to introduce new character to keep the story going as the story itself is quite weak, at this point, I think I’ve seen enough and drop it. If it was shorter maybe I would finish it, but seriously 6hrs felt like 18! It’s not bad but not that funny to keep me going!

I tried a lot of drama. Lot of them I have never past 1st ep, therefore, no point to include them in my watch list. Kinda like go shopping and trying on clothes. I don’t consider it’s cheating when it comes to FF. A drama would be a lot nicer when you can skip the cliche/annoying character (example TMOPB the evil concubine). By skipping her, TMOPB got a lot higher mark from me :) and I don’t feel the need to drop it. My reason for dropping is when there is one glaring annoying factor that I can’t ignore: for example, sound of deserts, the main lead looks so old and the plot was so slow, and something about these two really annoyed me, and I can’t move past that, so I dropped it after 6-7ep. maybe idc about my statistics, or my lovely looking list. I’ve seen enough drama when I was young and enough when I was matured, and I don’t feel the need to proof to anyone my opinion based on the number of drama I’ve watched. But that could be just me :) after all, watching drama is to get relaxed, not to be work up and frustrated :) that’s what work and life are for :)

Seems interesting! ZDY might not be pretty, but her acting has always been so good, she makes me love her no matter how she looks :) will definitely check this out

There are romance but also a lot of heartaches, because this is a palace harem scheming drama. So our two main girls keep getting hurt by this one evil chick. So while the romance is sweet, sometimes, you would want to throw thing at your tv because of these evil B that tries to harm our girls.

Uhm, it’s good to have reviews explain why they hate or love, but it’s not a requirement, sometimes people who doesn’t like it, really don’t have the time or feel they need to put in an effort to explain why they don’t like it. That doesn’t mean their bad score is because they are mean or stem out of hate/jealousy, and certainly that does not invalidate their feeling of the drama :)

It would be better with a new female lead lawl

Lol, I have the same feeling as you watching this show. Seriously I wouldn’t dislike it so much if it wasn’t because how the female lead was written! By ep6, I just want him to move on!

Actually no lol. Her onscreen partner was worse lawl. The story was nice, and overall I enjoy it but it’s too long for my liking and it does follow the cliche road lol. She was very young back then, to the point where they even pumped her age up a bit, I gave her a pass.

Idk Sota but he did not look good as Ichigo lol. So sad :(

Uhm, Rukia to me is very quirky, based on the trailer, I’m getting a nerdy Rukia. While Rukia is booksmart, she’s more quirky than nerdy, plus her awesome hairstyle lol, I’m so disappointed :( since I love Rukia the most out of the whole series

Well actually that part would be ok if it was a guy dress up as a girl! Potential for many hilarious scenes xD think Mulan the reserve xD but then I saw the poster and I’m sad lol

Hahaha first time I read the synopsis on the forum, I was excited! Then I saw the poster and I’m down at the bottom out of sorrow! Yup, by changing the god from guy to girl, it really ruins it for me :(

You can try watching avenuX on YouTube, she does pretty decent first impression to get a grasp of whether you should watch it or not :) base on her review, while the acting is strong, it can’t savage a bad old cliche plot lol

Uh synopsis - amnesia - check, meeting before the marriage a long time ago - check, loveless marriage - check, old plot >_< plus the recent untouchable lover already did this lol

I would give this one a 9/10 as well, and this is the only drama so far in a long time I haven’t skipped much. I actually skip a in the middle as I was time constraints, but would go back and watch the whole thing. The only part where I truly skip was some YZH part at the beginning with the girl from the brothel. Even as much as I love 3l3w, I wasn’t interested in the first 10ep or so at the mountain and dragon tribe. Siege of fog, I love the mv when it first comes but that period of time is my least favourite, plus the ending lol. Let me know how you feel about it xD

I heard of my sunshine but contemporary modern Chinese drama ain’t my thing, because they tend to drag lawl. I can’t do 40ep unless it’s a good drama. What I said is based on my discussion with some book fans on soompi lol. And many commentators on fb about how YX has a crappy treatment in the book lol.
