The Taiwanese version was the first wave of BoF, so saying Taiwan did a remake is very wrong as they were the first to start the wave. It might not as big as BoF due to the Internet was not as big back then, but the wave was huge!
About goblin, I don’t hate it, but I feel people give it too much credit, and as much as I want to finish the drama, by the end of ep3, I feel like it’s a monumental task to finish it, and if a drama makes me feel dread to continue, it’s surely not that great. Though I haven’t really gave it any bad remark or seen any bad remarks? Maybe I’m not that sensitive? Or maybe I can see where people coming from?

I saw many claimed that Fu Yao is strong or that ZLY’s princess agent character is strong, yet they require the same amount of saving as the so called weak female characters! I found a lot of time, it’s not about they are weak or strong, it’s about how they grow to become stronger! Lol, safer that way with YM’s series. Because she’s a rating queen, the series might be draggy, best to wait for it all to finish then watch. Same with any hype drama!

It is not as bad as it sounds. There was a TVB series back then with similar issue, where the couples fall in love very fast, and got married super fast, and they seem to be happy until hardship and first love return happen, making them wondering whether their marriage was true love or just a second of immature youth. It was true love after all for the TVB series, and the moments after their divource was really lovely :) I think this drama is in the same boat :)

I don’t know, I feel their kisses though, or when he tried to not kiss her, but his face was so close to her. I have never seen Derek before but man, Ruby always knows how to shine those boys! Whoever pair with her always get a 10 for me for their role lol, she made them good and desirable, then I watch other show of these male actors and I just don’t feel the same lol.
Saw the first 2 eps, as much as I love Julian and Mike He is quite handsome (first time I see him act), but something is off about her acting, could be the sound or the reactions but it’s weird! Anyway, will come back once it’s finished airing :)
Tbqh, koreans seem to certain so-so drama really high, it has always baffled me, but that’s the rating for you :) I didn’t like DoTS as much as a lot of people on MDL, I dropped SWDBS, and I’m not even gonna bother with while you were sleeping, considering hype drama tends to be not my cup of tea! The only exception has been TMOPB :)
