And he does enough to get certain people killed for his benefit, using other people and not his hands so again no need to be that intricate lol.

But after second watching and forum discussion (as as much I figured out the old and the real RG, I couldn’t figure out how she saved him), finally figure out for sure what’s going on lol. They were very ambitious with the last episode lol!

I think to do what you wish, ZF has to be a main character, and he is not. And to flesh it out, we will have a whole new drama in itself. Also AYL is so good at manipulating that it just almost moot point, not to mention make the drama draggy unnecessarily.

And the thing about that kiss with past RG, YX was the bad guy there lol. And as the drama progress, it seems the marriage certificate is what seal the deal in term of formality, and not so much the ceremony. So for YX, it’s a dying wish to have the ceremony with her. She stopped not because she doesn’t want to, more so she has things to do, save Jianghu and Liehuo mansion

I understand completely :) and I possibly would be so if I love the other male leads lol. But I also have seen so many of those ending like you said, and it’s always been done so clunky that it become awkward between the female lead and the guys who couldn’t get her. I think they did such good job of ZF and YZH that leaving them like that is more memorisable :)

I don’t have the link as I found this out about a few weeks after it was first air, and since I don’t love this drama that much to find it again, sorry I can’t provide the link. If you want to know the ending: RZ swapped the poison his queen sister gave him, so he will not be blind and disable and able to live a quiet and secluded life with CY. The general got pregnant, found out her love one is the enemy, she’s torn, but she understood he was the cause of her people suffering and was betraying her and manipulated her? So she killed him and committed suicide

To me, yea, it felt like a waste of time, the remaining, the plot line went from interesting to typical, the characters also not that interesting any more, and the romance department is kinda lacking. Only watched up to 32 and waiting for the rest to finish, but part 2 feels like this: misunderstanding and the girl general >_>

I think that would make it very cliche and at the same time cheapen such a character, and make you feel like he needs the pity. YZH has loved RG for so long, and after many things have happened, he couldn’t just move on until he knows RG is happy. Same with ZF, they left these two not finding someone to show they love her, and kinda waiting for her. And in time, I’m sure they will find someone according to their own time, not because in that 2 yrs she doesn’t love them :)

Everyone’s ending got tie up pretty well apart from Bi’er and Jing Lei, but that because I feel like over time, Bi’er will try to mend XY with JL, and those three might be together. Just the feeling Bi’er gave at the end of her scene. Making it quite lovely, I like that. Same with DLX and LJH, they are back together but not but everyone is happy if they are, but they are not exactly physically back together for the viewers lol.

Hear hear! You echoed my thoughts exactly! Song Wei Long was so dreamy the first 16ep! While I don’t hate his look on the second half, I constantly miss and feel sad about how we will never see him in those white robes again!

Yup, and this is why I down rate this series a lot. Say what you will but if I have to skip 2/3 of every episode if not more (I think at time I get the most is 15mins of the main couples), then this series isn’t worth 7 stars. How do you even recommend this drama? Watch it if you love your FF button, love being frustrated with the characters, plot and story telling, and the romance, while looking at pretty costume and ridiculous hairstyle :) and ponder how good it could be >_>?

N that the RZ I want, I love his character for the first 16ep, then come second part and he turned into a whole new person. From being bad to good is ok for me, I can understand they need to make him the hero, but changing from crazy many level smart to like not so smart is just down right wtf >_<

The amnesia is part of the story. The idea of the story is even if you both forget each other, you can still fall in love with each other again. However, the execution of that idea is very weak in the drama.
