While I kinda agree with your scoring, I’ll make story 8.5/10 (need a bit more beef), and pacing: it’s strange, while I do enjoy their relaxing time together, it’s too relaxing and too slow in a sense lol. N while I’m loving it, I’m also falling asleep on it…. So I’ll add pacing: 5/10 (due to my explanation lol). Overall, still much more enjoyable than whatever happen to cdrama land in the past 4mo lol

Not even that. There is no point in fighting when there is no need to. With all cdrama must be within 40eps, meaning within a month, it’ll complete its air time. And we all know it’s hard to get 1 explosive every month, so you get complete market share by just betting your drama is the only one above the rest for that particular month/time period. So rather than fight head to head, wasting your energy and resources, just wait for your turn 😒 it’s called being smart 😒 and while I enjoy LOSL, I wouldn’t call it the best xianxia ever. It’s the best for this year so far because this year has been utterly terrible. Anyway, be humbled or you might not be able to find a hole to hide if this drama falls lol (I hope not as I do enjoy it, but I do find myself falling asleep near the end of the episode, I started late and have a long day, and I do hope it pick up the pace a bit more)

lol 10 is an achievement! I’m basically turning off my 📺 at 1.5ep lol. First 10mins of ep2, I tried 1.5x speed n it feels normal lawl! Sure the speech is faster but nothing move out of the ordinary speed so I’m thinking their actions/movements are quite slow 😑 I’m putting that on hold as well. Currently watching LOSL, and while this one is more enjoyable, I kinda wish there’s more to the plot lol. Considering the fast pace of TTEOTM and SOKP, I’m not used to nothing happening lol

Oh, more the mannerism. I can’t say about the depth, as we haven’t seen anything worth measure of acting skills. She possibly just channeling YZ, but i was very much reminded of YZ in the first 1.5ep. Uhm, I’m meh about all actors and actresses until they charm me with that 1 role, and has to kinda keep it up somehow lol. Not many able to do it consistently lol. And if I’m bored, I’ll start to nitpick really hard, can’t help it, my brain has a mind of its own lol. If it’s not occupied or entertained, It’ll start feeding me weird questions that I’m like 😑 I know many love LXY, while his acting is ok to me (nothing to complain but nothing for me to lose sleep over either lol), I’m yet to see that one character of him that flip that switch for me yet. Pretty much like Leo case lol, before TTEOTM, he was dreamy in LIS, but not like TTJ, so while I love him in LIS, and knowing he’s a good actor, I was not crazy about him. He sealed the deal in TTEOTM, but lost me in LIP lol. So he’s become the actor I’ll checkout and love, but I’ll stick with him only if the drama is good lol. N tbqf, Leo n ZLH are possibly the only 2 I would feel excited to check out their stuffs. Other male actors - meh lol. A long time ago, it was XK, but he lost my vote about 3yrs ago lol

lol, I’ll stop reading at “not the baseless propaganda genocide that people claim China is doing to the Uyghurs”. 1 - it’s not baseless, just because they scrubbed all the evidences doesn’t mean it baseless lawl. But you believe what you believe.
2 - so what if US is evil, that doesn’t mean China isn’t. Nor it will lessen the CPP’s crimes 🙄 move on with that arguments. 3 - at least with the US, you see it, it’s out there, because they don’t actively hunt down ppl and put you in place where you don’t see sunlight or fear of your organs going missing.

I meant the original actress for YCW, her acting feels/looks like YZ. lol, couldn’t even finish ep2, I was bored sh1tless. Possibly be ok if I can just have it in the background. Went to check LOSL instead, and that was quite good.

The drama is pretty much “Liaozhai zhiyi”, just that unlike Liaozhai zhiyi is just short stories of various supernatural tales, this one we followed the main CP and have an overall arc to tie everything together

This year, the only low budget that has surpassed s+ rating this year. It is not the only low budget drama that has surpassed S+ rating drama lol. Also technically, A is not that low budget. It’s third tier still lol
