In term of broadcasting rating, it’s consistently at no.1 for 3-4 weeks of its showing. It’s now almost 3 weeks after finishing airing for VIP, 2 weeks for non VIP and it’s still in the top 10 (currently top 7 I think). The vlinkage is above 600 for each week. Character popularity is also 9+. Advertisements are also very good/quite decent, no ep has zero advertisements.
The drama was also aired during another of BL’s drama is airing.
In term of rating, douban rating is 6.9, while I think it’s too low, many thinks that’s high for douban 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, all of these don’t matter, at the end of the day, you watch a few episodes and make up your own mind 😉
