That's hard to say as I don't know what your scale is... it's not a comedy if that makes sense but also the leads are very devoted towards being together rather than having issues get between them... for instance:

"Generic" Repeater drama made up of everything standing around talking and making wild unsubstantiated claims like that the Emperor isn't really the Emperor π€£ - Truly the bottom of the barrel but somehow I can never stop watching the laughable idiocy. It's best feature is that it's short but even then it still manages to feel just a "bit" too long with the last few scenes with the 2FL being rather unneeded. The fate of the son is the absolute picture of stupidity for an Emperor/Empress but π€·ββοΈ You don't watch these expecting ANY logic π .
Title: γε倫εη»εΊδΈΊεΈζθ’«θΏ«ε离γ- The Ex-Husband Who Became Emperor Forced Me To Divorce Again ML: Lan Bo FL: Tian Jiu Luo https://youtu.be/ZFqE7bnOB6c
will it be a sad endingas the description says dying genius investor
The Iqiyi description expands on this to say he has "a heart condition" and something about "what starts as a dying man's" - so while I'm not sure that it'll be a sad ending there's a possibility that it's something where he doesn't have a will to seek treatment for a new heart or something and she gives him that extra push and VOILA happy ending π€·ββοΈ - The title card is all pastel pink and a cutesy song so leans towards a happy ending imo.
Gao Yang & Zhao Huinan | Season 2 is here!A misogynistic emperor stubbornly guards his virginity, but ends…
π€£ I just saw this pop up on my feed when I looked today and was shocked π€£ I didn't even know they were doing a season 2! And this one's even longer at 4 hrs π€£π€‘
It's only 50 episodes too? Unless they bump the episodes up to 3 minutes it might not even be 2 hours long.
Oh I don't go off the MDL info π - the 2 min is generic for all verticals but some obviously will have slightly longer or shorter episodes. A good example of the disparity is δΈη½ζε ιι’ vs ι₯ηΈζ. Both are 117 episodes but the 1st is just over 2 hours (2:13 @ 1.13 min per episode) while the second is just over 5 hours (5:03 @ 2.58 min per episode).
Just finished this and I've LITERALLY already forgotten half of what happened in the show. It was enjoyable while I was watching it but if you've watched any sister husband-swap - rebirth dramas this is basically it just with extra padding and a few more characters.
Her initial reaction to finding out the truth about his identity has me asking "Is it that serious?" It's…
I get where you're coming from with this assessment and I honestly agree with you as I had EXACTLY the same experience watching it. Where the writer dropped the ball was that we had absolutely NO backstory on why there was even a blood Feud between the two families aside from that mention of the Feud and a prior mention about his biological father being a traitor. During this time of collateral punishment he WAS seen as being guilty because of something his family he'd never known he was associated with had done. Likewise, if they had been adults when the punishment came down and he wasn't a baby, not only would he have died but as his wife SHE would have died. This is a SECOND reason even beyond the blood Feud for her to be mad. By Marrying, if he was discovered, SHE would have died too. This is also why, when she accepted him he suggested they not get married and he see the Emperor, so that she wouldn't be killed. When she still wanted to be married that why the Emperor made the comment about them coming to him without fear of death, because they BOTH came to him.
So while I 1,000% believe the writer should have given us more to.work with so that WE understood the stakes, the actual emotions did make sense.
Is she really his twin sister as any of her roles like princess or sect leader?
She is not is twin sister. He was adopted into the family as a baby. At the beginning of the show you find out that HE knows this and found out at some unknown point. Later in the story it is reveled that she also knew they weren't blood related when their father told HER. Neither of them spoke about not being blood related to the other prior to her death and rebirth with no memories when he begins pursuing her.
Brief Synopsis: Twelve years ago the Dugu Army was convicted of treason and their entire camp was burned, leaving no survivors. In present day, a woman named Song Yao is saved from a mass grave by the mysterious medical healer Yun Fuyi after failing to bring charges against the Duke of Zhenguo's daughter in the unjust killing of her father. Yun Fuyi; secretly Xiao Sichen, the 4th Prince; agrees to help Song Yao enter the Prince's mansion with the goal of becoming his Consort. As both identities, he and Song Yao work to bring down the Duke of Zhenguo's mansion and clear the names of those wrongly named treasonous years prior. --- For a 5 hour vertical drama this wasn't bad at all. Most of it was engaging and the story "mostly" made sense. Everything here was "nice" but nothing "wow'd". If there is actually a true complaint it is that everything WAS so middle of the road.
If you're one looking for spicy intimacy this one isn't for you as there is one kiss and fall across the bed "end scene" type bed scene and that's it for physical intimacy.
Do I recommend this? If you have nothing else to do it won't hurt to watch it as it's not BAD. But also, it's 5 hours long and it's not AMAZING.
I'm not sure I understand the end. She saw yet another way she died and then she said, "So that's how it is.…
I'll be honest, I haven't actually finished the whole thing at the time of writing this comment but what it seems like is a version of the "Get rid of the lover, hook up with the Emperor" plot (just currently unacknowledged as such on here). In that plot there's a storyline that is "sometimes" included where the story being watched is just the "final" version and that she's gone through the loop MANY times in the past trying to change things. 'Nan Pin Di Wang Tai Wu Qing, Ke Wo Shi Ta Bai Yue Guang' for instance has the story being her 3rd attempt; while 'Hei Lian Hua Gong Xin Ji' has he being reborn 9 times. So that scene is basically saying that each time she died her blood spilled onto the book of fate and recorded her need to go back again. (Again, I'm only a few episodes into the beginning and then I skipped to the end to confirm it WAS the same story (and see how this version ends π€£π€‘) so there might be something I missed that gets told IN the drama but that's basically it.
This was an interesting drama and is different from what is "normally" put out in mass quantities. If you're looking for romance it has the barest hint, but what it REALLY is about is a story of women trapped in servitude trying to better their lives through any means. The house these women serve provides weapons to the Japanese who will kill at the slightestprovocation. This drama is VERY anti-Japanese. I personally felt torn rating this because on one hand it felt REALLY well done and innovative. It had a message and has some elements of 'art' to it... BUT, it was also VERY slow and I was honestly bored for most of the drama, almost giving up entirely the first 30 minutes before just pushing through.
I guess "Red Beans of Longing" didn't sound good enough so they went with "Love and Longing". This was... not "bad" but also not "good". The best thing about it I thought was CFT as FL continuously insisting that she did indeed want a divorce and she wasn't playing coy, she was fine with her 'husband' taking a new wife π . Things that were frustrating though are basically everything else... 2FL gets let off the hook EVERY TIME until the end no matter what her crime is and I couldn't even figure out if 2ML loved 2FL or just lusted after her with the amount of mental gymnastics this guy was doing... As for the Emperor, he's out running around town and to mansions like it's as simple as walking out the door, which I suppose makes the ending semi in line with the entire production even if HIGHLY unrealistic.
Even with the premise of there being a "cute kid" you're let down when he shows up in barely any scenes and is more a plot device to move the story along than a character.
2nd vertical of Chen Fang Tong I've seen and 2nd one I've been disappointed in after watching.
Is "The Drunken Princess" on MDL i can't find it anywhere?
I suppose it's as "common" as Chinese Astrology is in the west. I don't think they were saying the title of Gemini is for the ML/FL though, but rather the "twin" souls of the FL when she's reborn.
Is "The Drunken Princess" on MDL i can't find it anywhere?
It's definitely a name that doesn't translate well into English and does appear to be a play on her names 'Zhao' and 'Yu' characters are the same. Then as you mentioned though 'Yu' is also 'jade' and probably refers to the pedant, while 'Zhao' would be 'manifests or shows clearly'. As for 'drunk', it's also 'intoxicated'. If I had to make it into English and knowing the plot, I'd say it's something like "While intoxicated on the Princess (both sides simplified), the golden jade is shown clearly". Anotherway to look at it: 'I simped for the Princess and found out what my jade pendant meant'... At least that's how 'I' took the name. π
