Regardless of what that recommendation above says... this show is nothing like The Double beyond "Male Lead sometimes holds a fan" 🤣 so yes, if someone goes into this show expecting to see a plot anywhere similar to The Double then they should watch that instead.

What is the point of having a Youku subscription this year? EVERYTHING is only released regionally it seems like.

it's listed as a teaser on the tencent app with a reservation button available so it's probably just delayed due to the number of currently airing minis. They like to only have a set number maximum at a time. Once The Maid officially ends tomorrow my guess is that either this or Zombie Warfare will replace it with the other replacing Lust and Lies

They change the "ta" to "she" because they are referring to the later fact that the FLs body is the one who saved him... so 'she' saved him. But this has us know the gender of the body, not the person inhabiting the body which is what has been the topic of conversation; that they skirt around the issue of overtly saying anything about the possibility of a man possibly developing feelings for another man by not acknowledging that the FL even IS a man and instead making references to the FL needing to dress up as a man to go to the tea farmers.

I caught that too and thought it was an interesting phrase to use - and then of course they sweep it away by basically pretending they said nothing and going back to wording it as that he was OBVIOUSLY saved by a girl

Okay so I looked at the cast list and they synopsis says Lin Yu Hao is the CEO transported into the game. LYH is listed as a SEPERATE character and IS male.

Okay 😅 (still haven't pressed start because ADHD) so I'll keep that in mind

OMG I was just about to press start and wanted to check the comments - I had a FEELING that was the case based on the synopsis but went "NAH, Can't be!"

😅 And the CGI is both awful and out of place in how cartoonist it looks but also.... fits?

This man is having some INTENSE "dreams"... 😅🔥🔥🔥

First 6 episodes watched and DANG I like this 😅 - pretty, spicy, and the ML switches between looking psychotic and a softie touching his red ears because he's blushing.

Hard to say on 'just' 6 episodes. Personally, I could do without the ML's fan 😅 (that right there makes me want to rate it lower out of instinct); and I'm 'honestly' not a large fan of the MLs looks (yes that's awful to say 😅 but it's not like I don't mind his ACTING which I like); Kay Song as an antagonist is ALWAYS a win... So right this second I'm going with a conservative of 7.5 off 1st SIX but I'm hoping that the plot will be able to develop well enough with the number of episodes that it will be higher by the end.

How you liking this one? I had it my radar for a while and like the fact for once the FL will be with the ML as a 2nd relationship after having a child with 2nd ML. To 'me' that alone makes this one different.

if it gets English submit might be on that site, the issue comes if jt doesn't get picked up for international license and so doesn't GET official English subs. This is known to happen with Bilibili and SenTv platform dramas. For instance Ban Xing Fu Sheng - 半醒浮生 a popular recent mini drama never received official subtitles and international audiences needed to wait for fansubbers to upload the episodes and then NOT get their accounts banned.
On the opposite side though, as mentioned, Echoes of the Self is a Bilibili show that was licensed to Iqiyi and is currently airing.
As for what HER next two shows are, they are:
Youku - Wo Zai Zhe Li Deng Ni - 我在这里等你
Bilibili - Jin Zhao Yu Zui - 金昭玉醉

Actually she has 6 and the other 2 will start on the 24th (Youku) and 26th (Bilibili). It seems hit or miss on whether Bilibili shows are picked up by another platform (Echos of the Self is airing right now on Iqiyi for instance) so unsure if international viewers will have access to that one officially.
It truly boggles my mind releasing 3 dramas at essentially the same time regardless of if they are 'different platforms'. 😅

I'm not sure what translation the previous watcher had but several of the issues they raised didn't actually happen in this story. ML "married" the princess because he knew she was a spy and needed to play the long game with her, FL approved and played along, at no time did he sleep with the Princess, he had his guard sleep with her. As for the sister, it was the same issue; their hand was forced by the court and to give the illusion that the Prime Minister was winning and keep the enemy close they allowed her into the Harem. Again, he never slept with her and she was never pregnant.
There are absolutely issues with the show; it was long and drawn out in my opinion and it made little sense that people looked at FL and thought "nope this isn't my sister, just a look-a-like despite knowing that she had faked her death to escape the palace originally and their death squad had never reported back.
I felt bad in the first part for how the FL had to act and thinking that there was no way out except to leave (later even the Empress Dowager too explained that she no longer blamed her because she understood if she'd stayed she'd have always been under the control of the PM father.)
In the second half I kept forgetting only 3 years had passed because the children looked and acted MUCH older.
Overall not bad but also not 'amazing'.

🤣🤣🤣 - I'm on episode 3 right now and liking it so far - And yes that one was "interesting" trying to figure out what on EARTH was going on 🤣

There was a "similar" one earlier this year that was "interesting" but very convoluted and you HAD to pay attention and connect dots to understand called Phoenix Gambit: Love or Crown. FL gets reborn as her sister and has to go against her past self.

Objectively this is VERY bad.... it is a dialog repeater to end all dialog repeaters... BUT! there's just something so dumb entertaining about it that when I found this page had been added I watched it again and enjoyed it just as much for how BAD it was...
