Agree. Though for the ML his acting was consistent throughout and I thought it was "good" in the beginning when it was more comedic and had him playing "that immortal whose face never moves and speak in monotones because he's so holy" sort of character... but then he played it consistent throughout the whole show and when it started looking less funny HE started standing out as looking out of place.

🤣🤣🤣 Yeah I LOVED Bazaar Beloved Birds, gave it a 9/10. Like this one I saw the trailer and where other people ran I was like "sign me up for this" and watched it when it first came out 🤡.

Wow you binged the heck out of this 🤣. I tried to keep up with airing schedule but 3 eps a day has been kicking my butt.

He remembered! 🤣 Oh well.... "too late" so it would seem. But there's way too many episodes left for it to end here on a "He regrets it the rest of his life and she walks away with the kid" style ending so it seems like we'll be seeing some groveling? 🤡

Finally finished. I honestly kept waiting for an explanation about all the dreams but that never came so I'm a tad disappointed in that aspect 😅 Also, I'm not upset with how the story went but I was also waiting for SOME sort of twist that never came.

Fate of Beauty flips the script a bit and has the FL be the Red Flag, instigating a love triangle between two brothers for revenge. VERY toxic but also gorgeous show. If you watch that one, don't read the comments, show is better blind as you try and figure out who she will end up with, IF she will end up with anyone.

I don't know how many episodes you watched but while I'm personally really liking the show now, I found the first 2 or 3 episodes to basically be world building and also didn't really grip me since it was a lot of going back and forth and internal monologs. But once the core story got started it got better.

I had to stop tonight 🤣 Binged yesterday and watched nothing but this and Blossom. Blinked once and I was behind on everything else I was watching 🤣

Frankly speaking, people love this trope and millions of people watch Vertical micro dramas of basically this exact same overall plot on Douyin, Billibilli and YouTube every day. 🤣 Also, badly written compared to what? I mean it's not going to win any awards but this is actually a pretty highly anticipated mini and was one of three featured as Coming in December on their line-up.

🤣🤣🤣 I saw you decided not to watch this but honestly, I'd take the other comment with a grain of salt. I looked at your page and you have watched toxic mini dramas before as well as micro vertical dramas whereas the other person hasn't... Rather than a comparison to When The Phone Rings (which is a full length "proper" drama) compare it to a vertical drama. What they did was essentially take a toxic "treat my wife bad while she provides health benefits to my poor misunderstood delicate white lotus who is actually a massive green tea bitch" trope story and upgrade it with a better production team and "slightly" better writing. Is it going to win any awards? No. But if you are interested in the synopsis and want dumb toxic mindless drivel this is definitely good.
