With AJTL the deaths had "purpose" and emotional impact. Here it just felt like they were just killing off characters "just cause" we don't even SEE the one guy from that village (Wei I think?) die, just the aftermath.
And the random soldiers... if felt like they introduced a group of soldiers JUST to die 5 minutes later. It had me laughing rather than sad. 😅

I did that exact same math going back to the treaty part of the episode and everything to get the dates.

I haven't finished it (just finished 27) but so far last arc has just made no sense. And that's not me coming from a "another show is better" standpoint or even a "I wish he were a red flag more than 3 eps" standpoint because I'm not one of those people 😅 This is from a timeline, story-telling standpoint where they even had to make the audience assured that it HAD only been a month with the baby letter where she had felt the baby kick and had a baby bump at only pregnant 1 month (most people don't even know that soon 🤣)

🤣 Oh there are PLENTY of ones that don't have these holes so big you drive a truck through them 🤣. But that's yes, at least this one was entertaining and that's what counts in the end

This was QUITE the ride 😅🤡. If I can say anything it was that I wasn't bored.

You drew a conclusion, somehow, that because I am currently watching this show still (unlike you), that I could not possibly have gone through an infant loss. Again, how you reached this conclusion I have zero idea, nor why you brought my personal life into your personal need to vilify this show.

I will kindly remind you that you were most recently gushing about how much you loved Love & Bid Farewell.... a show that is currently 100x worse than this show. Yeah Iooked it up specifically to see if maybe they translated it wrong but no 😅. They used "Tàihòu" which is definitely Empress "usually" Dowager according to the translation I used.

😅 It's definitely spicier than the other ones out right now but WHY do I have to turn my brain off as a requirement to enjoy it? Like WHY is the Queen Mother/Empress Dowager the SAME age as I assume the FL is? 😅🤡

First, this comment IS insensitive seeing as how "I" was the one who placed the trigger warning comment originally so I honestly believe you have to currently be bored and trolling right now so here you go.... No, it is not "more common than I think" that a princess has people break in to her cottage and rip her newborn she's just given birth to out of her arms, shoot a poison "insect poison" dart at her mother to kill her, and then throw the baby at the mother from atop a horse so that blood splatters on her face. You're in this thread today tearing thus specific drama apart because for some reason you are having a bad day I guess. Too bad. There are absolutely valid comments to make about the plot, the actors used, the effects, the script, heck EVERYTHING... But honestly belittling a show based on the PREMISE is just asinine. So yes, if there were indeed a scene where "a Villain Drown puppies" okay, good for that show. I would simply wish to know that this scene were in there before I watched it OR that the production was good enough that the foreshadowing signalled that puppies were about to die on screen.
