I'm usually right on the side of the FLs going come on she's really not THAT bad but this time... π΅βπ« I honestly do not know what the dude saw when he had that brief flash of "when she's quiet she's cute and witty" because not seeing it on my side one bit. π
For me this was a perfect 10. The plot WAS their relationship progressing, full stop, so it naturally seems as though there is no plot because there's nothing underlying it to move things along like career interactions or family drama. I liked that we're told "it's going to be a while before we can go on another trip" and then time skip epilogue trip. Personally I'd sort of been hoping they'd do a 5 or 10 year skip so that we could see them all fully settled down and possibly with a kid if they were going to have one but this works too and gave us the photo shoot.
There is no two ways about it though, either you will love this show for exactly what it is or you will roll your eyes and hate this show for exactly what it is. I loved it.
I really have to wonder if we watched the same show ... or have the same experience of 12 year olds. I mean, people…
I hate this comment so much because it voices how hypocritical everyone is so well. "...Have the same experience with 12 year olds..." for example just goes to show that even when they are busy infanitilizing a grown woman who knew what she wanted, they don't even know what happens when someone 12 year olds. Because there are absolutely those out there who even that young don't act shy and inexperienced because it's not their nature to do so. Now some has to do with cultures of course but I would put myself closer to the FL than not when it comes to relationships. People all around me were out there dating and carrying on and it didn't make sense to me. Yes, literally at 12 years old people in my class were trying to get me to date someone because THEY were already. But it made no sense to me. These relationships were not going anywhere, there was zero expectation at that age you were going to marry the person so why did they even bother was my thought. There was no point. So yes, people exist that hesitate, that only commit to relationships that will work for the future in a way towards marriage. Believe it or not, there are people who don't even care about physical intimacy at all. At least here we know she cared she just was a shy and self-conscious person not wanting to let others see her PDA.
What it comes down to is that no matter what choices this woman personally makes FOR HERSELF there will be some other female in this comment section tearing her down and saying she's wrong. These women can scream and holler about wanting to see a "real relationship" on the screen all they want but what it comes down to at the end of the day honestly is that there is no one size fits all definition of "real relationship" and the minute someone begins to think that every relationship progresses at the same speed, in the same fashion, with the same milestones we will ALWAYS lose out on a demographic of people who think differently.
Qian Zhao died from saving the emperor. Sun Lang from pretty much shielding YSS, when he was trying to kill Beipan…
So YL did bring enough medicine to last him in theory. He knew that the reason he was the one being sent on the mission was to save him from the destruction coming from the Beipan people in the next clash. YSS expected to die at that time and YL was determined to save him by getting to the capital as fast as possible. This led to him over exerting himself as he rode day and night at first, running through horses, and then finally literally running the last 30 kilometers. He used every one of his pills in his quest to arrive and deliver his message. While on one hand tragic he saw his death as being worthy of the sacrifice so that he could prove his worth and save the camp, including YSS. That he literally was able to die in his princesses arms, finally telling her his feelings let him go in peace with the promise they would meet in the next life.
As for YSS death, there were multiple levels there too. On one hand, he had finally fallen in actual love with a woman but at the same time he knew that he wouldn't be able to be with her based on his personality. This was why he'd had the foreshadowed conversation about how if he ever did fall in love he would die. At the same time, he wanted to save her life so he used his last stand to push himself towards protecting her and getting her to safety. After the explosion, he was rendered blind, his eyes dripping blood. A man like him would never be able to live dependant upon another person, never able to set his eyes on beautiful things again so he made sure to take out as many of the enemy as he could, covering CYs retreat. You said "like he was planning to do as first", but he WASN'T. He always was planning to die somewhere between Ning and the gate, that's why he said he'd "be leaving now" to Ning before he left, that was his confirmation that he was leaving to die.
I have premium in the US and it's not showing so... π€£
gave up and decided to watch on kissasian but I had to search for the title because it didn't just show up as recently updated and it keeps buffering π΅βπ«
I think the last episode was stronger than the episode 11 which really had me starting to forget there was still supposed to be another episode after until the last couple minutes. As the mom and grandma said, don't feel bad for Yoo Ra, feel bad for the kid...
On one hand I'm really liking the fight scenes... on the other hand they occasionally make my eyes hurt to follow since they like to swing the camera and cut back and forth. π
