On Princess of Lanling King Jul 14, 2016
The rumor is it will air sometime this year. The show was updated with the Chinese censors to reduce the # of episodes from 50 to 47 and update the production company. A specific date/broadcast company has not been entered but the air time has been updated to 2016. We'll just have to wait and see if it happens. After seeing all the still pictures this looks like it would be a waste if it didn't actually air.

Baidu says that the crew will rest in July and then go to Burma to finish the shooting in August. Post-production will complete in September and they plan to premiere this in October 2016.

[FYI- before reading this comment, please note: I haven't finished the series so I haven't given it a rating.…
I had already watched TWDR before I watched 6FD, that's why I was so excited to watch it. I cannot count how many varying styles of historical dramas I've watched over the years. Honestly, I think that of all the genres for Chinese shows, this is the style they seem to do the best in. ...but again, I haven't been moved to re-start the drama again. I actually finished "Back to 1989" which was nice but not perfect.

For me it's just that the relationships in NIF are, for me, kind of predictable. Even though it's show bits of info per episode, it's so straightforward as to not be surprising and compelling. I think the best part for me is the martial arts is on point. As for the cinematography, I've watched a lot of historicals and the location shots, scenery, & costuming isn't any more spectacular than other Chinese shows I've watched. It's pretty on par with the rest so I guess that's not as moving to me as others here seem to find it. I recently watched Scarlet Heart, Virtuous Queen Han,& Sound of the Desert and they were just as good if not better in the aspect.

Title Our Gap Soon
Looks like it's been confirmed to have 36 episodes from 2016-Aug-27 to 2016-Dec-24. Wow. They touched each other in their last webtoon project. I'm actually surprised SoEun-ssi accepted this role, especially since she's replacing SJR's co-star from the drama he was in when they were together on WGM. Interesting twist of fate between these two. Suspect that irl they're more like bro/sis and figure they'd get along fine. Maybe SJR even suggested her as the replacement. *I'm just guessing*

Title Back to 1989
Okay, I did like the main leads romance and the story for the most part was pretty intense & adorable wrapped in the same show. Kinda of jarring at times. ...but that ending... *sigh* whoa.... Lost me at the end. I still cannot really figure out what that was all about. I mean, people tried to explain in their own way but their explanations wasn't what I watched, it's just an explanation to make it all seem believable, but unfortunately, I'm not convinced. lol...

[FYI- before reading this comment, please note: I haven't finished the series so I haven't given it a rating. Not sure why there's so many people invested in the final rating of this drama, in case someone wants to hatefully respond to me, please be aware of my right to see things this way. My only concern in ratings is the rating **I** give a show. I could careless what other people rating it, except as a preliminary understanding of whether it would be a "waste" of my time... thus anything about a 6 is in my consideration.]

Currently watching this but, I don't know, it's not that compelling for me. I'm actually halfheartedly following the plot, not because it's necessarily boring but just a lot going on but in a non-complicated way. It's very straight-forward and almost predictable... but the characters are good enough that I'm invested in simply knowing their outcomes. That's why I keep watching it. To see how it develops. Nothing spectacular, just curiosity. lol... But I stopped at ep. 17 because I feel like I want to watch something that I can get emotionally invested, because even though I'm curious to know what will happen to everyone in NIF, I don't emotional care either way about the results.

I'm not saying I've dropped it. I'll finish it... it's just I don't feel like watching 54 episodes striaght through just to get to the outcome.

I guess I'm just curious as to why there's so many people saying this is perfection. You can look at my list, 6FDs, as an historical, was perfection. I've watched a LOT of over 40+ episode historicals, including Chinese historicals... and this isn't the best I've ever seen. Up to episode 17 it's "alright" but nothing that's rocking my socks off my feet.
On She Was Pretty Jul 3, 2016
I watched this along with Kill Me, Heal Me... and realized that the OTP here went straight from bro/sis to this. Why it never dawned on me until now, I don't know. lol.
On The Lying Game Jun 27, 2016
This drama must of sucked because the episodes are available raw but none are subbed. The fact that Chris Wu is in this and it's not subbed yet, for me, means that it was so bad it wasn't worth the effort. That's saying a lot for a Taiwanese drama!
Skye-N-Rain Jun 24, 2016
I live in SoCal and I've been seeing the embeds for a few weeks now.

For those of you who cannot see them, you are either on a drama that is NOT licensed by DF or you are outside the TEST region. DF doesn't have every drama on its site thus there would be no embeds for it.
On Thinking of You, Lu Xiang Bei Jun 20, 2016
So, I'm in the USA, thus, I cannot access myasiantv.se but this show is listed under the 'Thinking of You' title. Does anyone on MDL have access to myasiantv can see if all episodes are eng subbed and if newasiantv has the same amount of episodes subbed?

I'm thinking of downloading a vpn to get access to myasiantv but I don't want to do it if newasiantv is the same. I'd rather not use a vpn, but if I'm forced to in order to be able to watch subbed shows quicker, I will.

Anyone's help or response on this subject would be appreciated.
On Vampire Detective Jun 17, 2016
This drama is trying to be way too metaphorical. It consist of Yoon San spouting off internal dialogue and being a confessor to everyone around him.... Not my cup of tea

If this is definitely a historical I'm excited, I really liked Min Ho in FAITH. (In fact, it's the first role…
If you haven't watched You From Another Star, then you need to stop, drop, & watch. It's very much worth it.
