Okay, I did like the main leads romance and the story for the most part was pretty intense & adorable wrapped in the same show. Kinda of jarring at times. ...but that ending... *sigh* whoa.... Lost me at the end. I still cannot really figure out what that was all about. I mean, people tried to explain in their own way but their explanations wasn't what I watched, it's just an explanation to make it all seem believable, but unfortunately, I'm not convinced. lol...
[FYI- before reading this comment, please note: I haven't finished the series so I haven't given it a rating. Not sure why there's so many people invested in the final rating of this drama, in case someone wants to hatefully respond to me, please be aware of my right to see things this way. My only concern in ratings is the rating **I** give a show. I could careless what other people rating it, except as a preliminary understanding of whether it would be a "waste" of my time... thus anything about a 6 is in my consideration.]
Currently watching this but, I don't know, it's not that compelling for me. I'm actually halfheartedly following the plot, not because it's necessarily boring but just a lot going on but in a non-complicated way. It's very straight-forward and almost predictable... but the characters are good enough that I'm invested in simply knowing their outcomes. That's why I keep watching it. To see how it develops. Nothing spectacular, just curiosity. lol... But I stopped at ep. 17 because I feel like I want to watch something that I can get emotionally invested, because even though I'm curious to know what will happen to everyone in NIF, I don't emotional care either way about the results.
I'm not saying I've dropped it. I'll finish it... it's just I don't feel like watching 54 episodes striaght through just to get to the outcome.
I guess I'm just curious as to why there's so many people saying this is perfection. You can look at my list, 6FDs, as an historical, was perfection. I've watched a LOT of over 40+ episode historicals, including Chinese historicals... and this isn't the best I've ever seen. Up to episode 17 it's "alright" but nothing that's rocking my socks off my feet.
I watched this along with Kill Me, Heal Me... and realized that the OTP here went straight from bro/sis to this. Why it never dawned on me until now, I don't know. lol.
This drama must of sucked because the episodes are available raw but none are subbed. The fact that Chris Wu is in this and it's not subbed yet, for me, means that it was so bad it wasn't worth the effort. That's saying a lot for a Taiwanese drama!
I live in SoCal and I've been seeing the embeds for a few weeks now.
For those of you who cannot see them, you are either on a drama that is NOT licensed by DF or you are outside the TEST region. DF doesn't have every drama on its site thus there would be no embeds for it.
So, I'm in the USA, thus, I cannot access myasiantv.se but this show is listed under the 'Thinking of You' title. Does anyone on MDL have access to myasiantv can see if all episodes are eng subbed and if newasiantv has the same amount of episodes subbed?
I'm thinking of downloading a vpn to get access to myasiantv but I don't want to do it if newasiantv is the same. I'd rather not use a vpn, but if I'm forced to in order to be able to watch subbed shows quicker, I will.
Anyone's help or response on this subject would be appreciated.
This drama is trying to be way too metaphorical. It consist of Yoon San spouting off internal dialogue and being a confessor to everyone around him.... Not my cup of tea
Why do they always have people running out in the middle of the street like fools almost getting hit. I just don't get that... I mean, yeah, dramatic effect but is that the only way you can convey anxiousness?
after looking at the clips from the show I am feeling the chemistry already. krw and psh are too cute together.
I watched this video of them taking still shots for the show and holy moly, KRW is just absolutely enjoying every moment of this. The production is all up in their face but he is not hesitant to give off any and all skinship he can get away with... I start to get a bit cringed out feeling like I'm invading the privacy of a young couple... and that's EXACTLY the vibe this show wants to give off. KRW wants all those "Darling Couple" shippers to find a rival here and wonder if their ship docked. For his & her career and ratings potential, that's a pretty smart idea:
okay, the "making film" trailer was just... if I was LJS, and it was true she was my g/f, I'd be a bit worried. You can **feel** the **tension** between them. She's trying very hard to be casual & professional, but it is totally obvious that KRW has the hots for her and is having a hard time keeping it in. ...you know the feeling when a really good looking dude is checking you out and you "know" he wants you, and it kinda gives you the butterflies, but you don't know enough about him to flirt back at him... that's the vibe I'm getting. She's "bothered" by him, in a good way... and the more it goes on, the more shy and girlie she starts to become. She's not really sure what to do with herself, which makes me feel like, she's not beyond developing an attachment to him over the course of this drama...
....If anything else, they will surely display really charming chemistry.... I see a storm brewing for all the "Darling Couple" shippers out there....
I'm just really amazed because PSH & KRW are so awkward with each other at first. They look like the 1st reading was their first real encounter... as the reading goes on you can see KRW body language change and he's becomes impressed with her acting skills... and just like in the filming.. the more it goes on, the more comfortable he gets, the more he just seems very flirtatious to PSH. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but my experience with PSH is that she's not really good at display affectionate emotions to her partner in a drama. Don't hate on me all you PSH lovers, I'm not saying she's a bad actress. She's not... it's just that she's never giving off a "I'm in love with you" vibe in her romantic dramas. She's weak on that and it was one of the reasons the whole "Darling Couple" became such a huge thing because, in Pinocchio, it was the 1st time she gave a real kiss that seemed to have emotion and the rumors sparked from there. ...KRW/PSH haven't kissed, yet afaik, but I get a real emotional vibe from them... maybe she just needed a more mature "adult" dude to bring it out of her. Frankly, at first sight, the idea of PSH/KRW being an OTP is like, "WTH are you talking about?? Isn't he a little to old for her???" ..but somehow, here, when you actually see it with your own eyes, it works:
Being currently single, if a dude proposed a 3 month relationship like that, "hot & steamy", and looked like Woo Bin, I don't think I could actually say, "no thank you..." lol....
subs were fairly crappy... it was a feel good movie... I enjoyed Yoo Ah In & Kang Ha Neul, although Ah In ssi's part had a few really cringe-worthy moments. Ha Neul ssi is just really the best when it comes to the *feels* dept. He can bring a tear no matter what the plot.
