Feng Nong, the screenwriter/author of this drama is also the author for the General and I. In comparison it is like, this story didnt know whether to tell a romance/comedy or a history lesson/Game of Throne, it kept swinging from one end to the other. In both dramas, both leads spend time apart from each other. Yet in one, their love sustains through all the trials and tribulation, in another it is like a couple of high school kids that are going through puberty. I just hope Feng Nong doesnt work with Yu Zheng from now on.

I mean she had a part in the crown princess being selected, a part which caused the death of consort Han, so in a way Prince Han's actions which in turn caused the crown prince and him to be exiled. Kind of funny that she can literally, most of the time, talk her way out with the emperor, empress, all the imperial family, threatened to kill herself when Prince Liang tried to rape her yet with ChuMu she is stumped, instead of trying to resolve the misunderstanding, they go into more arguments and even more misunderstandings. Sure she tried but she sure failed to communicate.
