The way she died just makes me laugh. I mean come on how did Shu Ning trust you to run her business if you're that stupid

I don't know what he is like in the novel and I don't care. we can't judge him because in the novel he is bad.
I don't know if he had moral compass or not but in the show he was loyal to Shu Ning from begining to the end.he didn't sell out ANYONE.he didn't switch side for fame and money, he switch sides because he didn't want to die.he just had one condition: I want to SURVIVE. and he kept warning them that Xu family WILL suspect me, but they didn't listen.
I didn't say in this show, I said in the entire cdramas the forgive someone who has killed more people than even Hitler if he had those condition.

I haven't read the novel so I can't comment on that. but as for the show, in his first life he committed horrible crimes which he got what he deserved, no doubt about that.
in his second life the circumstances was better for him SO he got a better person than his first life.but in the last 2 episodes they were like so what can we do to make him deserve death? ok let him torture the girl and then we kill him
I think this is not right

here we had a character Zhou Yin Zhi he wasn't a good one but he wasn't evil. in the entire plot he constantly told the main characters that your moves are risky, the Xu family will find out that I'm working for you, I just want to survive, BUT THEY didn't listen to him. in the end they just simply killed him because of their own mistake of not listening to him
this is ridiculous

one thing I don't understand
in cdramas almost ALWAYS when someone who murdered and slaughtered countless innocent people in the end regrets, he is ALWAYS forgiven ESPECIALLY if he is a relative or a love interest of one of the main characters

you were right my friend:) still it's obvious that fake Cui Lin is insane but the bodyguard encouraging him to do everything is still more hateful to me

which one should I hate more, fake Cui Lin or his personal guard.
In my opinion Clearly he deserved more than death because of his betrayal which led to death of God knows how many soldiers, the writer was kind and let him live.
Then he was ready to give up A Ying which that damn stupid personal guard gave him the messed up idea.
Now we have to expect another villain rise.

ep18 and I'm in a dilemma

where do you find out the rating of a drama?(for example s+)

1_You push them so far from each other that the only way to bring them back together is either from a miracle or a near death experience THIS is not a good plot, this is FAIRYTALE.
2_Both of them are adults, they reached a certain point that a break up is the best solution.
(if you're playing hard to get remember that no man likes to KEEP seeing you together with his enemy/love rival)
3_their acting is really good, I enjoyed it. I remember wang Yi ting from some support roles before, here she have improved way much, good luck for her

am I the only one doesn't follow the main couple anymore?
I mean come on in dramas usually the more exciting and interesting part is before they start their relationship, but right now both of them are playing hard to get, it's exhausting.
I'm more interested in second couple (guan ji-shan shan) their chemistry is great and the way they look at each other, such a sadness ...

66 episodes and I enjoyed all of them, this drama was in 2018 almost 5 years ago and it's long, but STILL it's way better that almost all of the cdramas today, thank you for the such an amazing work :)
