it wasn't bad ending it was sad ending. lots of sad endings are really a masterpiece and this wasn't a bad one, go for the rest of it. it definitely is worth watching.

Mi Lan is the sweetest and the most innocent girl in the history of cdramas, I've seen a lot of cdramas, I've never seen someone can ACT innocent as well as Ouyang Nana and I was tired of their FAKE acting. Well done and thanks for this character.

first, let's call it a promise, oath is a strong word.
second, you're making examples that's got nothing to do with this and were made in a total different situation (not made by force) if every single promise must be kept even if it is made by knives and threats then you can't live in this world. this so obvious.
I said IF she was weak willed, which she wasn't and that's the point.
