On The Princess's Gambit Aug 5, 2025
I watched this after ADWAD and I couldn't hold it back. The emperor here is also the emperor in that drama, and he plays both character:dumb and selfish emperor. That emperor really gets on my nerve.
As for the story, it's okay, it contains all the tropes a cliche drama should have, from lovers to enemies, poisoned main character, amnesiac lead, evil empress, dumb emperor, hopeless romantic villain, a naive prince and an annoying little sister.
And like I said, I just finished ADWAD, so a drama like this is a breather already.🤣

Title Marry My Husband: Japan Spoiler
So my question is that I didn't watch the Korean version when it aired.. but I just finished watching this, and…
The Korean version is also okay. What annoyed me in the Korean version was the fiancee subplot, which they omitted in this version. Also, in the Kor.ver., you'll somehow feel satisfaction whenever the fl wins over the sfl.

vs Motiv in the elimination battle, and ofcourse Bumsup won. There's no way MNET's going to let them go when Motiv's the least popular crew.
I'll miss Fantaye
On Mercy for None Jul 7, 2025
So Ji Sub is back in action noir after 13 years. Action really suited him well.

This is a gritty and bloody watch. The story is simple. His younger brother died, so he's out for blood. No one will be spared, so there's mercy for none.

yes, he succumb to his injuries after.
Yes, in the last episode, when he visited his brother at the cinerarium, he said, "I'll see you soon." He also said the same thing to Choi Song Cheol, when he killed him.

sad ending? no.
but almost all the characters have traumas, so it's kind of a healing drama, self discovery. It's a really good one by the way.

They should've ended this at season 1.
Because it's all about money. Season 1 was a huge success because of the various source materials it was inspired by.

s1 is the best of all and we know why.
