Six episodes in and I'm super annoyed at the logic and actions of the female lead. So far, ff'ing a lot.

I, for one, love the female lead in this drama. She is written a little too simple in her actions/social interactions yet I find her complex psychologically/emotionally and feel for her in so many ways. Some of her actions were hard to swallow when hurting others but I still got where she was coming from. I love how flawed she is and I like that she does grow over the series in some ways. Not sure I like the love story too much since I didn't really like male lead. He is supposed to be perfect but I found some of his actions questionable

Since you like the show so much perhaps you can share what points in the story are worth sticking around for. That would be more convincing.

To get the viewer to care about the characters and the plot in the first few episodes. That's the point. Don't…
You can go ahead and like it and that's fine but I don't think this is the point others are trying to make. To start, chemistry doesn't have to equal romance. Two guys can have amazing chemistry on screen that you just love seeing their interactions and it's definitely not a romance. Here, the two leads don't have great chemistry together --as most viewers are noticing (including myself)-- and chemistry is necessary for the romance to be convincing/engaging. They may start to click later on but that may not happen. That's not a promising outlook for the rest of the series especially -- setting aside the romance-- nothing else really interesting is really happening in its execution even though the premise itself is interesting.

Title Nobody Knows
Wonderful mystery-investigation thanks to: great characters, bad ass female detective, innovative concept, well…
She's my hero

Title All Out of Love Spoiler
Lu WenJun is completely ethically bankrupt with regard to his profession. I couldn't care much for the hateful…
LWJ's (supposed renowned psychiatrist who hasn't been shown doing anything psychiatrist-like at work) checklist of unethical behaviour as of part ep 23:
1. Sharing patient information without consent
2. Sharing patient information in a public space
3. Excessive involvement in patients' private life (characters excuse it as normal ???) especially for personal gain
4. Using patient records for personal benefit
5. Giving misinformation of patient's record as manipulation
6. Carrying out DNA test on patient without consent and for personal gain
7. Treating patients despite a conflict of interest

*what's more, is the writers write these behaviours as if they are perfectly normal -- as in no character/system exists to question the lack of ethics concerned.

Lu WenJun is completely ethically bankrupt with regard to his profession. I couldn't care much for the hateful characters and would ignore them and ff as they came on screen but I couldn't even stomach seeing him for a second at any point he showed up during the last few episodes that I watched. I don't know if it's because Chinese dramas writers don't research professions enough or if they just wanted to write a soap plot device (seems kind of both) but wow. I started the drama to see if Sun Yi could actually carry a role (still not sure that she can) and I endured 22 episodes because of the initial child actors and Wallace Chung; however, not even WC could check my repulsion of LWJ to keep me going another episode.

Giiiiiirl! Let me just say: Taiwanese dramas are the best! When done right, not Korea, not China nor Japan's best come close. The best of the best scripts come out of Taiwan, the rawest acting does, and the most swoon-worthy cp's. This is, of course, my opinion but I still hold to it after over 10 years of watching dramas -- from all three countries.

This drama takes the cake for the most cheesy lines of any I've seen. It's like the writing team took out an encyclopedia of the most used tv tropes and dialogues to work on the script.

what years?
honestly there are a lot of balls being juggled: parallel universe, quantum physics, appearing in mirror/disappearing other self, magic flute, time travel, not aging... so many concepts
