I always see him as naughty child actor. He is soooo cuute!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 yes he is really young…. But kinda a “veteran” coz he started acting so young…. So he really has the upper hand…. His career has at least another 20 yrs lifespan….

Lol… not so sure I will call him cute anymore… he is actually pretty masculine now although he is still really young… look at that square jawline man….. 🤣🤣🤣
100% agreed, the moment when I realised that he s not little feiliu anymore is that viral "你故意的” video…
Yes! I already noticed his gaze in The Long Ballad being different. And I was like…. Wow, since when did he become so tall. 🤔 I still found him kinda childish/kiddy/“little brother”-ish in Tomb of Sea but he was totally different in The Long Ballad…..
Leo Wu has grown up so much…. Mens’ facial structure really develops from 15 to 25…. He is such a versatile actor, and coupled with his height and looks…. 😳😱😏
I used to find him a bit too “sunshine” because he was basically a child actor. He had very innocent/kid-like features… He exudes a completely different vibe + charisma now.
Anyone in this dilemma? I wana watch the episodes asap😆, yet i dread the day the drama concludes😭...
Lol. I get withdrawal syndromes every time a really good drama ends…. And feel conflicted on whether I should rewatch immediately or just sulk and wait until my memory fades, which basically is torture….
I actually thought this was very entertaining despite the mediocre production quality and a pretty lame start…. Like it had sucha weak 10 minute start I thought it was going to be super bad but the plot was actually not bad. I’m benchmarking this to all the Daomu Biji movies. They are all actually very bad by normal standards. lol.
It got more and more exciting maybe because it was a pretty short movie. I still find Ji Chen exactly like the HeiYanJing described in the novels.
I think the movie is out…. I saw it on YouTube, under Youku I think… think this is it, but I’ve yet to watch…
Ah I see, thanks! I didn’t know there was another one… but the storyline for that isn’t based on Reunion…. It looks more like what happened after Tomb of the Sea though because of the main theme of the movie. Interesting. Am glad Ji Chen is playing Black Glasses again.
Have to say Ji Chen as Black Glasses is super befitting. He’s really exactly like the Black Glasses in the novel… lol. The way he talks. He’s cool and super hilarious.
I have to say I love HeiYanJing/Black Glasses here the most versus all other actors who have played this role. He is hilarious!! And the one that most closely resembles the original character depicted in the novel. He somehow manages to be uber cool as well. Think it’s partially coz his voice is kinda deep.
I felt ambivalent after watching it the first time because of the main addition of Li Cu et al. Like they were all very “normal” average-Joe characters without any fantasy/mysterious background…. I felt they were kinda random.
But it really grew on me after rewatching primarily due to the good and very fitting cast for most roles…. The Wu Xie here is really perfect for this phase of his life…….. which makes the actor a little too young in Reunion to play the ML…. Like his gaze is just too clean, not roughened by the tough times… the Sand Sea plot is also pretty unique in comparison to the other volumes in this series.
