Have to admit that it’s one of the most logical war-historical (albeit mixed with fiction) C-dramas I’ve ever watched… and the plot was crafted in such a smart way. Also not too convoluted unlike some other works I.e The Longest day in Chang An.
I think it was a great choice to use Dylan's own voice for the body swapped parts, cuz his voice is more high…
Oooo… so the post body-swapped one was his voice…. I see. Yea I did deduce it, but was merely a deduction. YES…. Really have to credit that voice actor for his dubbing… totally gave the character a lot more depth… and the voice actor was able to convey a lot of nuances.

They chose a worthy 2nd lead, which totally makes sense. Yay!!… I’ve seen some dramas and I can’t even relate to all the drama wrt the 2nd lead…. Totally illogical, not only that… some of the 2nd leads have such poor acting skills. 😔ruins the flow of the entire series.
I really have to say regardless of his previous works….. Dylan Wang really displayed his acting capabilities/potential/range here….
Like wow… I’m sure the cameraman + director + production team also contributed but like..,. He did well here… from being a girl to being a devil to the breakdown scene…. That’s not exactly easy… and the production team here was good in the sense dubbing here makes a lot of sense… and the voice actors did a really good job, I can’t tell if one of them is his own voice but there should be 2 different people, which was a necessity.
The episodes are getting better and better,the story is grippingactors are definately delivering their bestwhy…
I thought it was actually to do with the body switching thingy…coz the moment it happened the 2nd time, immediately the MDL rating became lower after the episodes were aired….

Yeap. Ten Miles, sorry the full name is just too long…. 🤣 I think introducing heaven and all the realms, tribes, history etc is great….. but this one started with an uber intense heart-wrenching love story first (I was quite shocked when I saw her all white haired and she actually did it for 900 yrs…. alone…. Damn….. I thought she already moved on) and didn’t maintain the consistency throughout. Coz it’s super different in the mortal realm.
But 10 Miles and even it’s sequel, they maintained the intensity and it was way more balanced in all the different arcs/realms.
Yea, I rewatched it many times too!! He totally owned the character in Love and Redemption…. But like him going to actual war as a General….. I don’t know…… it’s weird. 🤔😒

Same… I think it’s coz the first arc was too intense…. I didn’t particularly feel the ML was DiJun material….. he is really very…. petite…… but the first arc was defo super heart wrenching, I couldn’t help but feel super sad… then the mortal realm bit was too……. calm like all of a sudden…
It’s got similar gist to Eternal Love but Eternal Love is much better in terms of plot and cast…. And I think that one did the mortal arc first which flowed a lot more naturally.
Think there’s a bit of Eternal Love of Dream situation going on here… it should be when they both had different…
Yea. And she even said that fate never changes…. I wondered the same as well….. no idea… I’ve only watched Eternal Love of Dream and it’s sequel before which had a plot that really made sense….. I sure hope this one wraps up the storyline logically and properly.
