I personally think he fits to be Ah Nian's husband
🤣🤣🤣 good thinking, perfect complement actually. That actress was really good too. Was a good cast… bratty, childish but surprisingly she didn’t annoy me.
I don't think Tushan Jing had not broken his promise with Xiao Yao. He knew he was set up and felt confused about…
I’m with you on this in the sense, it’s really not right to start with someone else when he already has a fiancé back home regardless of whether they have feelings for one another. That should be sorted first BEFORE giving out any promises to another person. Emotional commitment is already bad enough, and then comes the ‘wait for me for 15 yrs etc’ kinda nonsense….. 😒
I liked that FL took a leap of faith and gave benefit of the doubt by taking him up on the promise, but that should not be taken as unconditional and forever. A line needs to be drawn….. I totally agree with the FL on her philosophy “Even if something is superior but if it isn’t worth it, I will cut it off”…. The subsequent events that happened after they had this very wrong start is basically proof of that…. No feelings for one another means nothing honestly. It just means he is not a jerk, but doesn’t mean he’s a good guy for you….
Not a fan of Yang Zi neither do I dislike. Totally neutral….. but damns, she really can act. At least in this specific role. Never thought I’d ever cry for this kinda series anymore because there are just tooooo many C-dramas with these kinda themes….
And although she doesn’t have an androgynous face but even with a feminine face she really pulled off the being-a-guy…. I salute her for that. 9 outta 10 times I literally burst out in laughter whenever actresses disguised as males appear on-screen, it’s so difficult to get into the plot because it’s so ridiculous + distracting.
26 episodes later...In recent days I've garnered quite a bit of respect for Cang Xuan as he navigates the shark-infested…
Your analogy on A’Yao just stuck…. Keeps playing on repeat while I’m watching the drama….. BUT I found the author of this novel or the screenwriter a lot more solid…. So the characters are more balanced and real-life. I have 0 liking for A’Yao (I suspect it’s partially related to the actor that played it)…. BUT for this one, I don’t know, it’s actually very difficult to tell unless really faced with that situation….. I’m more of team Cang Xuan because I believe they are true soulmates though I’m not sure how I feel about the whole first-cousin as lovers thing…. but I have to admit I perhaps might have fallen for Tushan Jing like the FL……. Hard to say. But him and the wishy-washy engaged situation is…… totally unacceptable.
Am I the only one who thinks Cheng Yi looks similar to Bai Jing Ting also?
Haha!! Same!! I wanted to mention him too! But I can differentiate the both of them now coz Bai Jing Ting is a lot taller and his face/head is much smaller with much bigger/rounder eyes. I’ve checked online though, there are people that find them looking alike.
LHY and CY even has similar physique and height! But there was another one who looked just as similar, I just can’t recall his name….
I just finished TBOY, why do I find Chen Yi looks like Li Hong Yi🤔
Same. Basically another doppelgänger, I remember there was another dude who look like the both of them but I can’t recall the name…
I thought it was Cheng Yi in Blood of Youth… for the 1st episode until they shot closeups then I realised it was a different person. But CY and LHY are known doppelgängers, like the moment you Google it loadsa Reddit etc pages pop up.
I love love love the latest episodes!!!!Jang Hyun and Gil Chae are so much alike. They are both arrogant, callous,…
I like them so much unexpectedly that I’m going to stop watching! Lol, I’m going to wait until everything is out… the latest episode was too much of a torture…
I totally should have waited for it to complete before starting….. sighs, now I got to go through the whole torture of waiting again……. 😱😱😱 and this is even worse because it’s split into 2 parts…. I must be dumb, I always fall for these marketing ploys… someone shoot me.
Actually, I half watched his dramas all the time lol I think I never end any of them maybe because I never got…
Ah, I never knew. The Veil started off strong actually, but as it went by it kinda became so over the top…. And the plot was just cray…
True. I haven’t watched all his works but yes thinking about it now, really not much of romance. Lol, but I thought he already gave it his all in The Veil, did you see his body transformation….. even the way he walked changed in that one. This is a complex role, he made a good decision in giving it all, looks pretty high budget. Only thing I’m not super confident about is the split into two parts, and they made it 20 episodes…. 🤔
Wow. Great attempt to revive it. Manchurian sounds very different…. It’s closer to like…. Siberian languages… or more commonly heard, it reminds me of Nordic languages…
Talking about stunts, yea, NGM’s fight scenes were really not bad. Was cool.
I couldn't really tell at first, if it is a one sided, or he looks up to him as his only family bec he rescued…
But his lovey dovey puppy eyes and during the torture scene just totally tugs at all my heartstrings…. He’s so cuteeee. Wow, I’m super impressed the MBC site listed the details, thanks for the info.
Actually, I half watched his dramas all the time lol I think I never end any of them maybe because I never got…
Lol. I’m totally with you on the last statement there…. I don’t know… he’s just someone…. Yes… I mean…. I’ve watched some of his dramas. My jaw totally dropped when I saw him in The Veil…. But I didn’t finish that one too….
I think…. I finished the One Dollar Lawyer one…. I could always tell he is a really hardworking and talented actor…. Just…. Yea, I didn’t find any of the scripts being super “wow”, I thought The Veil was it but… sighs, no it wasn’t….. Hot Stove League might have been it, looking at the viewership in S.Korea and on MDL, but I didn’t even attempt that one just coz of the genre/theme…. but in this one…. Wow. Seriously…. He is really charming…
I found the first 2-3 episodes very slow, and also found it difficult to relate to how the FL is super miss-everyone’s-dream-girl…. cinematography was great, kinda expected…. But everyone has improved tremendously on that aspect the past 3-4 yrs… I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but I looked at the MDL score and kinda stuck with it. Damnsssss….. it’s good. And the historical part is actually veryyyyy refreshing… they mixed up fact and fiction and cross borders.. I’ve actually never heard the Manchurian language before but they used it so much….. like wow, kudos to the supporting cast.
Not a fan of Nam Goong Min, neither against, totally neutral…. But he is just soooooo mesmerising and charming in this role… everytime when he is acting actually….. it’s crazy.
This was so good, esp this season. Not because of the guests, but more of the cooking tips and the itinerary…. All the meals were elevated, partially also because of the new RV.
8.0 isn't bad. Other shows have inflated ratings. Parasite is rated 9.0 on this website and this is rated 8.0…
I was hoping they gave some of the spotlight to the more ‘mundane’ depts like Tax and the routine aspects of Audit… which would have resulted in a blended thriller-Misaeng vibe… it would have been ‘perfect’!
But yes, the accounting jargons and the research into the technicality really deserves high praise. ❤️ 🤓
