LOL! I was thinking the same too. I thought they were going to give like only 1 minute. 🤣🤣🤣 But did you not notice they have progressed and they did the cutting and editing in the episodes preceding the last 2 episodes? So the entire thing is smoother…. Didn’t come off as abrupt.

It was! The editing is improving! they didn’t leave everything to the last minuteeee! They actually wrapped it up very nicely. Could tell they decided to edit/cut the fighting/battle scenes instead.

BUT I thought the way Jiang He bowed out salvaged/balanced it. I don’t think it was like that in the novel. I think they altered it in the drama.

Haha, I noticed him as an actor a while back, because of The Lost Tomb series. He has this face which is super versatile and can play many roles. Esp the ones which require you to guess if he is an antagonist or protagonist….

Depends how you look at it I spse. I didn’t think it was only revenge but more of….. “letting off someone easily”…. Cause you think they can do no harm + they’ve learnt their lesson. If he can be manipulated so easily the first time…. He won’t change and is basically a ticking time-bomb…. And because he was let off so easily the first time, the next time if someone manipulates him the outcome would be even more disastrous.

Liu XueYi embodied the character perfectly, he’s sucha good actor…. and coz he has quite a number of scenes with the CP… the actor playing the CP is too big of a contrast, he’s kinda bad. Lol. I sometimes don’t know wot to make of his expressions.

Ok, Mr. Zhou Gao Lang is defo very unsuitable to take over. His cynical, suspicious, rigid nature is suited as a forever-general. So VERY wise choice on the ultimate selection.

The little girl playing Liu Yu Ru is sooooo cute…. ❤️
