I’m 2 yrs late… but in the original American version of Suits…. Luo Bin and Li Na equivalent ended up getting…
Yea, that was how it ended for the American Suits. I read rather polarising comments below on Li Na’s sassy-ness. Some people thought she was quite distracting and overacting. BUT I just wanted to say, it was coz that was exactly how Donna was in Suits.
In the end I blame Jiang He. He had so many opportunities to set things right and instead just sat there while…
That’s exactly wot I thought too!! I mean the outcome might or could have been the same but he didn’t even do anything or attempt anything…. That bit doesn’t quite make sense.
What makes Zhou Gaolang a really interesting supporting character is that as brash and rigid as he can be, in…
Exactly. They wrote his character so well because he had many good qualities and also bad ones… he has always been an upright person who just isn’t open to new concepts and new ideas… esp those different from his own…. And I liked how he admitted it in the end….
He’s seriously not a good candidate for an Emperor, he totally is a born general.
Was very sad, the 2 best friends also never got closure. Sighs. Actually also partially to how tunnel visioned he is. And the most amazing thing they did is they never changed that about his character…. Which is how like it is in real life, people hardly change their core personalities.
Yes! Feel so sad for him, such a tragic villain, only know the truth in the end. Still wish that if his biological…
Yeap! That’s wot I understood from other MDL members too so it was good call for them to change it in the drama…. It was much more…. Sensible… I thought killing each other at that point was just illogical…
It was! The editing is improving! they didn’t leave everything to the last minuteeee! They actually wrapped…
LOL! I was thinking the same too. I thought they were going to give like only 1 minute. 🤣🤣🤣 But did you not notice they have progressed and they did the cutting and editing in the episodes preceding the last 2 episodes? So the entire thing is smoother…. Didn’t come off as abrupt.
the ending was so satisfying . I loved how everyone fit in the big picture. I will be going back to this drama…
It was! The editing is improving! they didn’t leave everything to the last minuteeee! They actually wrapped it up very nicely. Could tell they decided to edit/cut the fighting/battle scenes instead.
No, you are not the only one, It was really unfair to kill her lover. He doesn’t deserve that ending of loneliness😭
Hurm…. But I think given Zhou’s entire family of generals…. She would have fit in perfectly though and Zhou Ye would have been supportive… and actually in Chinese history…. There are empress and concubines which have led armies into wars…. Meaning there were female generals married to emperors….
I admire Zhou Gao Lang for recognizing that, appointing Zhou Ye as the Crown Prince, and allowing Zhou Ye to rule…
Hurm… I would say I believe not everyone learns from their mistakes. People do, but not everyone. Esp someone who doesn’t have a strong foundation. So he only knew he wanted to be saved, and begged to be saved… he said sorry but he actually never even apologised for wot he did wrong…. Basically it was like when he gambled…
Yes! Feel so sad for him, such a tragic villain, only know the truth in the end. Still wish that if his biological…
Ah yes! Well said! He does actually… he has the same demeanour… it’s natural, like it’s because of the actor…
Lol, I don’t know… I’m not a big fan of revenge themes to begin with… I really cannot imagine sucha smart LZS not getting his facts straight before committing his entire life to it. BUT I thought the way Jiang He bowed out salvaged/balanced it. I don’t think it was like that in the novel. I think they altered it in the drama.
Liu XueYi embodied the character perfectly, he’s sucha good actor…. and coz he has quite a number of scenes…
Haha, I noticed him as an actor a while back, because of The Lost Tomb series. He has this face which is super versatile and can play many roles. Esp the ones which require you to guess if he is an antagonist or protagonist….
Yeap. Happy ending.
So I loved Li Na too. ❤️

Yes, exactly! so he is left all alone and desperate…. Imagine a person with ulterior motive extends another olive branch…….
