I thought the execution was actually very solid esp the production and set quality… to some extent it’s actually quite impressive…. The colour grading, wardrobe and vibe reminds me a little of Blade Runner 2049… it’s just the plot/maybe the original webtoon itself pales by comparison though the concept should have carried a lot of potential.

I thought Silent Sea was good actually. Was a very good attempt, sci-fi is after all a relatively new space/ genre for S.Korea… will probably take another 3-5 yrs….?

This does feel kinda ‘copy-and-paste’, albeit a good one, it was kinda disappointing. Reminds me of MadMax crossover In Time (though this was about time being limited, this was more of oxygen etc.)…. Still found it worth the watch, performances were solid amongst other aspects.

I finally now know wot Kara Wai’s role is…. Truly worthy… 😳😳😳 Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (though I have some minor doubts on other specific castings) but her dubbed voice is a bit….. uh…..

The ball is in ‘Yanan’’s court now..,., I’m realllllyyyy curious how she’s going to…… achieve wot she wants…. All I would say is…. In a super twisted way, she and the ML are meant for each other…. 🤣🤣🤣

Gosh… execution and ending aside… damns the plot is so damn good and multidimensional…. So many different themes weaved tog, making it sooooo interesting… 😍

I hope they keep this up for an amazing ending…. C-dramas have a tendency to develop and progress oddly…. And half of them result to messed up endings….

Ah ok. So I finally got my answer now. It’s human organs. Thanks for this, I never knew specifically wot it was… coz I realised blood and some amount of gore is kinda allowed… which baffles me.

Ok, this is very strange…. But I THINK….. they are trying to prevent (ok, not prevent but at least don’t provide anymore fancy information) on the whole black market organ trading thing… which is a problem in countries like China coz of their mass population.

I also thought of that before…. Like yea, “I’m me and I will not be defined nor blackmailed by any paper or anyone as the matter of fact” which is fine…. But this is as dumb as burning your own birth certificate or like passport, assuming those can never be replaced ever again…. Her thinking and her actions kinda…. Don’t really match up in reality or even just practically. I’m not even so sure how emotionally that even made any sense. In a certain way it’s considered quite counter-intuitive coz that paper matters so much that you want it to disappear forever…. Which means actually you really care soooo much about it…. 🤔

I’m okay with a sad ending, but I laughed coz they CGI-ed most of the bit and then suddenly he’s dead. Like wot the…. But just like 10 mins ago he was still the demon, then suddenly it looked like he went through some purification then just died…. It’s so….. underwhelming…

Sighs, am sad coz I was hoping for an amazing last arc! ☹️
