Eh hello! I’ve alwayssss wanted to ask about this phrase. why does she say that repeatedly? It doesn’t rhyme…
Ah! So it is!! Lol, yea, that’s why I was confused. Lol. Coz now I realised the palindrome thing they did is kinda a mixture between English and Korean. So ‘tomato’ and ‘ Swiss’ isn’t a palindrome in English, but looking at wot you typed it is in Romanized Korean. But ‘kayak’, ‘noon’ etc is in English. 🤣🤣🤣
Tried to love it as so many here do but by ep 27 I really felt like the story had completed itself and more than…
I get wot you mean, I kinda thought so too, but trust me…. The last 10 episodes will surprise you. So the way they did the plot is kinda different from the typical/usual xianxia. So for this one they actually kinda threw in a lot of lovey dovey moments in the first 30 eps…. And somehow the plot thickens and surprises in the last 10 episodes. No…. The last 10 eps weren’t exactly angst…. At least it flowed naturally and I didn’t think they did it just to lengthen the series.
Honestly I was pretty surprised. The last 10 episodes were very exciting.
No idea if I’m the minority but I find Xiao Wu soooooo cute. Like the actress who plays the character really looks like a cute rabbit without much makeup. Even her physique reminds me of a rabbit. 🤣
Have no idea who Landy Li is but she’s good. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Most pleasantly surprised with how ‘unpredictable’ the series was, esp. the last 10 episodes. Can relate to the MDL rating. Was a bit skeptical initially because I didn’t enjoy the Ashes of Love’s plot.
But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business……
Yeap but they aren’t interested in replacing the “king”….. that in itself is a huge difference. Coz if they only wanted money I didn’t quite understand why there needs to be an internal rift. But if they want to be the ‘invisible hand’ then…… that’s a different story, that is also considered control/power… just they have no care for who the figurehead is… So basically they both want the same thing just that the other wants to be both the figurehead and also have the control.
They never quite explained the Wen Chong thing yet…… because Qi Tian Feng did insinuate so…. But the FL didn’t believe it and after that it looked like…. It was edited…? Or intentionally left out?
But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business……
Ah, I see. Ok. So they are also interested in power then…. But so far I haven’t seen any trace of it though… and they’ve only brought the revenge bit to surface. 🤔 hopefully it will be more to it, defo curious.
But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business……
Yes, it does look like the blood relationship isn’t that important anymore after they split into sects.
Would think there aren’t many of them too, that’s why when he spotted a young prodigy, he wanted to nab him.
However the series hasn’t introduced any LingYuan at all…. And maybe that’s why it feels like some of the pieces are still missing. I think those that chose to go to Yuntai probably don’t want to rebel against the govt.. but to begin with why do the 2 sects need to be at odds though…? Just coz of different values/vision? So 1 wants money and another power….? But money and power are kinda complementary at times. I don’t know. Lol. I’m just curious if there is something bigger in play, I’d be disappointed if it’s purely another revenge theme…. 😔
But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business……
Yeap, but the whole genius thing is related to their ‘blood’… or the subtitles gave the word “clan”. So this genius trait is related to the Qian tribe. Yes, so Kang Qiao’s master also sounds like some eccentric martial arts prodigy. I do think they sound like the minority in their sect though… unless Mr.Mo is jealous and made it sound like his master is a weirdo. LOL. 🤣 Have to admit his fatherly puppy eyes is very cute.
So in 5 years Kang Qiao learns to become a formidable fighter and in 15 years Yunxiang only learns how to run?!?!?…
But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business… Including the Mr.Mo dude and the Wen Chong guy. So I was also kinda confused about the whole thing coz his name starts with Yun. Lol. I actually went back to watch the beginning of episode 1 again… to try to catch the name of the other division. So the LingYuan guys are probably the ‘stronger’/more physical of the 2…. Just so happen Kang Qiao is a martial art prodigy…
First episode seems interesting. Realistic to real life. But the eng sub on iQiyi isn't that good.
Yeap. Kinda rare for C-dramas to show the private side to law, most of the time it’s public prosecutors. The Oxford dude is super funny, kinda reminds me of some people in real life….. just his English…. 😰😰😰 without subtitles I actually can’t make out wot he’s saying. Hopefully this turns out to be a solid series, it’s quite refreshing. Reminds me of Misaeng but this one is more comedic. 🤣🤣🤣
Qin Hao….. 😳😳😳 I couldn’t even recognise him….. had to stare very hard and very closely…
The weight gain doesn’t look CGI-ed.. he’s wearing prosthetics on face…..? His features look completely different…. 😧😧😧 basically a different person… but the way they did it is so natural… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ep 10: who do you guys think burned the raw silk during the journey?
I thought it was one of the guys that the Cao gang employed. So it looks like the 400 people from the villages split up though. I just thought one of the groups successfully made it. 🤔
I watched the trailer too, but the Qi Tian Feng lost all his collateral property to the bank! It means he lost right….?
Thanks.
