I can't with these celebs. Don't they get scare when they heard of what happened with previous celebs! China's economy is going downhill right now so I bet they are coming after the rich even more to whatever they can. We will probably see more of this in the future. I bet she's not the only celeb that thinks they're smarter than the rest. She's so young and so popular that money would have been easy to come by. Now greed just destroyed everything.

You missed the whole premise of the show. She only wanted someone who will never abandon her. So it's not a weakness but the girl knows what she needs. She does not want to end up like her parents. XL never confessed his feelings to her and they themselves know that they will end well. She never knew of CX's love for her until later so she chose to marry Feng Long. Not to say that her love for Jing was not strong but he was only person that confessed his love and made her his only priority.

That's a different drama with Li Yi Tong. lol He will be a villain there. I think his character were even described even as a psychopath. Deng Wei likes to play these types of roles. I think he pulls off dark roles quite well.

I know Deng Wei's character will not a nice one but I can't help falling for him already. I don't know if I can bear to watch his heart break. :(

I forgot if he was offered first lead. Maybe he felt that he needs to gain more experience than being a big budget drama. Funny, then they end being in another drama together. The sad thing is I don't really like Joseph so i'm not looking forward to girl rejecting DW in Rosy Clouds. lol

I heard Valentino also let him advertise their products? He's not an ambassador yet but getting there. :)

She may have felt abandonment during the breakup but that is not considered abuse. You're thinking of two different things. Abuse is something intentionally inflicting pain towards the other party. Jing never had ill-intentions towards her. He may be an idiot in his actions but he's anything but that.

I like both male leads and I enjoyed their love lines equally so please don't stir the fire. Jing had no choice in the matter. Sure, he has his faults in the matter as they're both young in love. Nobody said that he's perfect. In fact, he's just as flaw any of the other characters. Though that's not what I called abuse so don't be throwing that around because you're angry at others. We can't just enjoy the drama? Everybody will have their favorites and that's why we have multiple male leads.

For XL, as much as you can sugarcoat it, it was still abuse. Though he changed over time and that's the progression that Tong Hua wanted to showcase that demons have a heart too. Out of all the characters, XL probably got the most character development. I would even say that Jing got the short end of the stick since he was never meant to be the main focus. In fact, I felt like he was kind of just in the background for the rest of the novel so I don't know why we have these shipping wars. People never expected Deng Wei to make the character this popular but Jing was probably only meant as a vehicle to give XY happiness.

I don't know time is calculated in this drama since they're immortals. It's rather confusing and they're not good at letting us know much time had passed in XY came back. In the novel, by the time XY made the promise to Jing and by the time the resolved their differences it would been 70 years already. When we watched the drama, it felt like it was like one or two years that went by.

I love Liu xueyi too. He’s so underrated. He’s definitely on her caliber in terms of acting. Xiao Zhan is great too but I’m afraid she will get attack if she pair with A-list actors.

I’m from Vietnam and it’s still very traditional alot of ways. Wealthy families place alot importance on making the family look good. Other high value career would be fine but something like being a dancer will be no go. For girls maybe it’ll a pass but not for men. Well, it’s cool that he got such supportive parents. Though I still think it’s alot of pressure so I hope he really likes acting. He reminds of Wang Yibo bc of his bad boy image outside but he seemed like a sweet guy on interviews. Lol

I just meant that rich parents usually have a high expectation of their kids. Asian parents usually put a lot of pressure on boys in general. Especially for career like becoming a dancer. It’s not very long lasting and you don’t make a lot so I find it surprising that his parents are that supportive.

It's not a very stable career by any means. If one can make a career out of it really. They must invested so much money for him to become actor. Imagine if he didn't it! That's so much pressure. hehe

Deng Wei does give me that Wang Yibo vibe but more shy and reserve. lol

I was so disappointed with Mr. Heavenly Fox. That drama was just a mess. lol The set was so cheaply looking. I saw they didn't bother covering up string lights in the back ground so i was like "i'm out". I did like the leads but the quality of the production and story just was not up to par. I heard Mysterious Casebook was highly praised. I did checked out two episodes and it seemed pretty good.

If I was rich, I wouldn't want be a celeb. lol It's so cut throat in China. Sometimes I wonder how they even have a life outside of acting. I imagine that either they must really love it or just want fame and money.

He seems so timid on variety shows or a times I wonder if he's made for this industry. lol

Govt. regulations that series cap at 40 episodes. So they had to split into 2 seasons. We don't know when it'll air because from the previous regulations, it should be 3 months apart but now they just came out with new regulations to a year. So we might have to wait until next summer. haha

You're right. Really? Can an agency just have one person? lol How do they even make enough? Though I'm surprised that he was able to be in a lot of big budget dramas given that he's in a small agency.

I get your point though I don't totally agree with it. Even if XY accepted him but how can he not feel insecure when she has other suiters when he himself is basically cripple? Not only that he had all the family problems. It's not like XY didn't have options. Plus he knew that she has feelings for XL as well and that was why he refused to her when she initiated the first kiss. The scene was better layout in the book as he knew she was thinking of someone else. That would feed into a lot of his insecurities .

I get that he doesn't have the right did the things he did but I don't think it can be call as a stalker. They both were young and each other's first love so both of them didn't know how to properly love each other. She even said it later near the end of the novel. He never any malicious intentions towards her or her other suitors. In fact, XY even encouraged it as she got mad when he stopped sending her wine and letters.

Anw, they're all faulty characters. I even questioned XY at times and her actions as well as the other two guys.

I don't really love LYT's outfits in this drama. I'm guessing the latest outfit was when she got married? Too much accessories. Though the boy's outfits are nicely done. Deng Wei looking so handsome as usual. hehe
