He is really talented actor and one of the few actors who can play with his eyes too. Unfortunately LYF didn't…
I have never said anything that you have to agree with me. WTH, when did say that? What did I not understand! I understand you fully that you don't think he doesn't have any talents. Then that's fine, did I said that you're wrong and you're a deranged fan? No, I simply had a friendly discussion with you. You got mad at other the other commenters and then took it out on me. When did I attack you in any way? Then to start calling me deranged fan because I made a comment. How nice! This is a public area and you're obviously a very rude person, probably is in real life too.
He is really talented actor and one of the few actors who can play with his eyes too. Unfortunately LYF didn't…
I was not talking to you know in any rude way and yet you're calling me deranged fan. Wow, how classy. All I say that it might be unfair to compare him other actors who had advantage in the first place. If you don't agree, then that is fine. No need to be rude here. We all have different points of views and that is why they created a forum! Obviously, if everyone thinks the same way as you and then what's the point having a discussion. You're the ones to call people "deranged fan" first so IDK who's the one being deranged here. Did we say that he's so talented and that he's the best that is out there! We never said that. All we said that he had potential. We get that he's not your cup of tea but it doesn't mean that other people wouldn't like it. For you call out people for being delusional just shows that only want only your views and does not even want to listen to what others said. You can't see the potential in him, that doesn't mean that we can't. Omg, god forbid for liking an actor. If you can't stand him, then stay away from his dramas. No one is making you watch it. Simple as that.
He is really talented actor and one of the few actors who can play with his eyes too. Unfortunately LYF didn't…
I didn't really understand most of the stuff you wrote but anyhow and I was not mad. Was just stating out the obvious. I think you're not getting the point we're trying to make. I get that you don't think what Melinda said about him being one of the few talented actor and that is fine. Some people likes him more than others. What I was trying to say that you're comparing him to people who either was a child actor or went to drama school. Those being Leo Wu and Cheng Yi. They're not like Deng Wei who is being thrown into acting without zero experience. Even if you have talent, it takes time to foster. You think Leo Wu or Cheng Yi can get this good without having some experience? That is just like any job.
Again, time will only tell if he will be able to foster his skills to another level. Some people have and it some people don't. Though he has shown potential.
He is really talented actor and one of the few actors who can play with his eyes too. Unfortunately LYF didn't…
To compare to well known actors like Leo Wu or Luo Yun Xi is rather unfair as many of them came from acting schools or had many years of experience under their belt. He never had any schooling in acting or work as a child actor. He's still very green in his acting career and I think he's doing well. I think what Melinda Asli meant as well. That he has potential to be good actor seeing his improvements. Of course, he's not at the level of those well known actors.
Hu Yi Xuan is such a good actress. It's too bad she's still stuck in support roles. I hope she will get good scripts and more leading roles. She's such a natural talent. sigh....
a very failed attempt to discredit ZLH 🤡getting salty with others' success is a very serious disease ....please…
I get your point and I was just asking the question because I don't know. While I like him, I don't follow him like other actors. You have to look at from a perspective of just regular viewers who are not his die hard fans. I meant over exposure in point that seeing an actor in too many series in a year might make people like it's too much. Again, I don't follow him so I would think that his team is promoting him heavily after seeing many of his dramas aired within the span of months.
To make my point about him being in the industry for 3 years and to achieve such feat is quite remarkable. That is very fast actually. Some people stay in support roles for 10 years plus without getting any recognition. Not that they're not talented but it's combination of not having the right connections or money. I even heard of cases of graduates of Shanghai Academy are more favor vs of Beijing theatre.
There were many other notable actors from rich families that work in the industry for very long time but never got that famous. I can't why people get offended "if" he does have backing. If he wasn't a good actor or has the charisma then he wouldn't achieve the fame he has now. That is just the benefit.
My point of needing connections to make it in real life is just as true. Sure there are jobs out there but good jobs are less. Connections get people places and often times rise them to the top. Sure one can work very hard to get to the top but it takes time. The entertainment industry is the same same way. One need to know the right people or connections to get them good scripts. His managers worked hard to get him where he is so it's not just him alone.
This is nothing to do with Bai Lu. I follow her so of course I will be more excited about her own drama as this is female centric drama. Female centric dramas are few so it's nice to see that there is is one. I'm more invested in the story line is quite interesting. I said it's too bad because there's a big chance we will have to wait to next year.

I never discredit anything. In fact I like him as an actor and he's very talented but lets be honest about how real life works. Like any job in real life, you need connections to make it. There are some super talented actors out there that will never see the light of day just because they don't know the right people or have the money. It's brutal but that's how life works. Every actor needs investors to help their career because it takes a team to build their name. If you say hard work if what gets them here, that is true but there are many others factors that played into fame.
I saw somebody wrote that she will end up marrying Zheng Ye Cheng's character. She is Cheng Yi's first love so…
I think I remember people wrote that she was forced by her family to marry Zheng Ye Cheng but she did grow to love him later. We will not know until it airs. lol I think the love story will be brief since it's male centric drama.
I doubt that they will air another ZLH drama this year. Talk about over exposure. That guy got some serious backing as they're pushing his name out there pretty hard. Wonder if he was from a wealthy family? lol That's too bad because I'm waiting for this drama just for Bai Lu.
Thank you! that's so fast. I thought it said it will not film until 2025. lol He literally just finished one series and hop on to another. No time to rest but I guess he has to take whatever he can get.
I heard Chen Xing Xu might be the male lead? Not sure how I feel about him. He's not bad but I don't love him either. Too bad we can't see her with Deng Wei again.
Does this series have happy ending? Did LuYan end up happily with GQX?
I saw somebody wrote that she will end up marrying Zheng Ye Cheng's character. She is Cheng Yi's first love so the chances of them getting back together is quite low unless her husband died. IDK if this is the true plot though.
But Deng Wei wasn’t the actor who appeared with her in LBFD though their chemistry in their upcoming drama is…
I think Deng Wei rejected the role because he wants to gain more experience as second lead. Would be nice to see my two favs together that they'll end up together.
Training a gamer to become a spy to assist China police catch the actual spy. I am more convince that LYT’s…
I feel the same way. Usually they will throw in a surprise like that with the one character that we least expect. hehe It'll be interesting if LYT character goes dark. That will more fun than having her as a naive chess piece. hehe
