Is this story true? If so why Chat Tat Kat deliberately approaching the journalist? The journalist already on…
I think he approached the journalist as a tool to undermine the whistleblower's story on the "manjun public opinion office", probably knowing he would be enticed with a scoop on manjun and then mixed enough truth with the lies to make it look substantial when checked.

This is for those wondering about the the medical realism of this show...
Uhm, I'm no expert by any means whatsoever but I did google alot of the procedures talked about in this show and I think they tried to stay within the realm of reality excluding things made for pure fiction (maybe the simulation thingies).
I'm saying this because I think most of the liver cancer surgeries in the show were done with conscious sedation as the show was very heavy on embolization as a uniquely helpful treatment.. Conscious sedation is where they isolate the anaesthesia to a particular problem point while the patient remains awake during surgery. Like a hysterectomy, which I think is a kind of embolization.
I'm only saying this cos I don't think the medical aspects were as outlandish as all that.
A solid watch. It wasn't my favorite but it was mostly interesting. The murders were intriguing at first but somewhere along the way, there was a shift for me. The plotting and planning by LZ didn't feel so gripping and that waterered down my overall interest by the end. I had an idea of whodunnit in the past (though not the present, which was a cool reveal).
They really stumble at the end. Kind of ruined the drama
Hi, I know it's been long since you watched this but please can I ask how you think they stumbled at the end of this show? I just finished it. Didn't love it but it was a solid watch but I also felt the end was underwhelming and wanted to know why someone else thought so Thanks
π€£ I kept wondering, 'How come it's so different especially compared to being in actual RACE CARS!'I guess they…
I truly enjoyed Pegasus, it was so much fun. And it only gets better till the end.
For HNG, It had everything I didn't know I wanted. I couldn't let go for a while and just kept rewatching. I wanted about 4 more episodes to watch them both compete and grow together which is the only reason I didn't give it a perfect 10 π£. While stalking every little bit of information I could get on it, I found a blog that went into so much more details and made me see it in a new light again which only caused more rewatching π. And don't get me started on HXX's acting, he felt like a real kid, none of that suave, have-it-all-together teenager. He was just right. I had a serious withdrawal after that show, it's a good thing you found this immediately after. Ok, I'll stop now π. What did you like about HNG?
The car driving looking real on races but not that real in normal road is so true! π
π€£ I kept wondering, 'How come it's so different especially compared to being in actual RACE CARS!' I guess they had to choose what to use their budget on and I have to say, they chose wisely. Anyway, how are you finding the show?
This show is truly lovely. At first I checked it out cos the premise sounded okay but mostly for HXX (whose acting I totally love from HNG) but the story ended up charming me. At some point in ep 4 I thought I'd drop the show but then I figured I wasn't watching the show, just one person so I decided to genuinely watch the entire thing. And I loved it. It's such a simple yet exciting story and I'd wondered what drama they could squeeze out of a car racing story but not only did they have a story, it was organic. Never felt forced or ridiculous to me.
The car races looked real and exciting and I kept wondering if they had actual cars and racers in this locations. It was not a cheap looking thing at all. Infact it looked less real when they were supposed to be driving like regular civilians on the road π€£
I'm glad I watched this show. HXX's acting is still one of the best I've seen across all the Asian dramas I've watched. There's a realness to his characters that I enjoy. There were times I thought he was a better Zhang Chi than the original (who I felt was more quiet and more like LZD). Ep 23: the treadmill scene was sooo good from an acting perspective.
Manager Ye is a close second in favorite characters, he was so warm and caring that he was hard not to love. The entire team was sweet too. And I liked how they handled ZC's and Xiaohe's relationship.. I skipped some of it but it didn't feel inorganic at any moment for me. I just didn't need to watch it but I approved.
There were truly funny moments and warm moments and also sad ones that brought tears to my eyes. Side note: It's funny but what broke me down was when ZC did the sweeping thing for LZD with Ye by his side in ep 27. I don't know why, but something about that sacrifice was what finally had me crying π₯Ί.
For a show I almost dropped, it has turned into a 9/10 for me. It wasn't perfect and HNG still has my heart but they told they story they wanted to tell, dropped me off at a place where I feel satisfied and happy I got to inhabit their world and get to know them for a little while and that is something no show has done for me in a while.
So thanks to all who worked on this, they should be proud. I watched this exclusively for 3weeks and all I have is respect and β₯οΈ. Questions might come later but for now, I'm basking in the π₯°.
Looking forward to HXX's next project Tientsin Mystic.
Please let me know π

Thanks for replying.
Please does anyone know if the bridge really goes that close to the falls?
I watched a documentary but it didn't go indepth about the placement of bridges for people.
