Does anyone know if this show will face the same concerns of censorship or cancelation as other Chinese BLs? I'm…
It’s a co-production between other countries, Meet You At The Blossom was the same and that one wasnt pulled. Next to it, it seems to be only airing internationally, not in China, which means it doesn’t have to adhere to the censorship.
Frustrated that they ended episode 3 at that moment, now I need to wait 6 days, it’s going to be a long wait. I absolutely love those few moments where Hua Yong drops his omega act and shows a bit of his Enigma “character” (don’t know how else to describe it). I’m impressed by Huang Xing, the changes from omega to enigma, were well done, subtle. Looking forward to seeing how the series continues!
Out of topic: But am I the only one who thinks the BL industry should stop doing so many NC scenes? It's getting…
I can appreciate a NC scene it ads to the story, we have had some good series this year, where the added NC scenes fit and are done artistic. But with Pitbabe it’s just not hitting it’s mark, o feel like season 1 already relied heavily on the nc scenes, so it’s no guess that season 2 would be the same. This Love Doesnt Have Long Beans, also had a couple nc scenes but there I felt like it fit more in the storyline. Going from enemies, to FWB, to lovers. I honestly got more irritated by Babe and Charlie constantly making up with sex instead of communicating with each other, in my opinion make up sex doesnt fix things. The series is all over the place, it’s so messy and nc scenes don’t help with it.
Okay, this might be an unpopular opinion but everytime I start a new series that has Bui Lu as FL, I end up getting frustrated, disappointed. And I don’t really know why, I feel like her acting is one dimensional. Doesnt matter what kind of role she acts out. I’m not convinced of her emotions, anger, sad, happiness, love, yes she acts the emotion out, but I have a hard time connecting with her character. And I know she is praised and loved by many, but I sometimes wish there were other actresses doing the roles. Only series I really liked her in was Only For Love and that was also the first series of hers I watched.
I had very high hopes for this one, because everybody raves about it, but sadly I found it dragging, at some point there is little character development. I finished watching it only for the ML.

Also fans thinking that Xian and Zi Yu are going to be in multiple series after this and have fanmeets are kind…
It was reported on quite extensively on all media platforms that Eric couldnt come because he would face real consequences in China. But I’m glad he did show up for the fanmeet. Even if he was allowed, my point still stands, multiple other actors who have been prohibited, separated, the actors from Addicted for example.
The Korean series you mean are Kissable Lips and Roommates of Poongduck 304, actors Kim Ji Woong and Yoon Seo Bin. You are right that other countries also don’t use the same actors in multiple series, like Thailand does.
From what I’m understanding YiBo and Zhan are really not allowed to interact with each other in public.
Why Is He Apologizing for Having a Life? So, Chinese actor Tian Xuning, the guy who melted hearts in the hit BL…
Also fans thinking that Xian and Zi Yu are going to be in multiple series after this and have fanmeets are kind of delusional. They won’t be like the Thai BL acting couples. If we have learned anything from how China treats bromance, bl actors is that they get separated as soon as the series ends. The Untamed was 6 years ago and YiBo and Zhan are still not allowed to interact with each other in the open. Eric Zayn, Chinese actor from The On1y One wasn’t allowed to go to fanmeets with Benjamin (Chinese actor but moved to Taiwan) or meet up unless it was work related (photo shoots, etc). Last I heard the two Chinese actors from Meet You at The Blossom (a co-operation between China and Thailand to avoid the censorship) weren’t allowed to see each other. I don’t want to be negative but don’t get your hopes up. Yes we are having BL series out of China but that is because the companies either found loopholes (only airing it internationally) or are changing the series to a very restricted bromance (the untamed) or straightwash it (from what I heard A Prime Minister’s Disguise) to get through the censorship. But that doesn’t mean China has been letting up or are beginning to mellow out. Homosexuality is still highly frowned upon. I do hope Tian and Zi Yu stay in contact with each other because they seem to have a very good friendship and they are going to need all the support they can get, but we probably won’t be seeing them together, out in the open.
look i love snakes but that dont mean i gotta know trheir categorize.....
Lol, call it a morbid fascination 😂my bl friends and I were talking about it. And I can’t find it mentioned anywhere when I google it, so I thought let’s try it here.
Okay I finished my golden blood, and maybe I missed something but was it ever cleared up what actually does happen to a golden blood after they get older than 21? Was anything mentioned of it in the novel?
This line came directly from the novel - but that’s no excuse, of course. I get a bit icked out when they talk…
Agreed! I honestly wished BL series would step away from these stereotypes, apparently nobody has ever heard of the word switch and the meaning of said word. I hate it when I see under videos of real couples the questions whose Top, whose bottom. That is such a personal question, why do you even think you have the right to ask, let alone know the answer to that question. I have honestly reacted to people asking it, with, hey stranger what your favorite position or do you like to be spanked. Most of them didnt like that question but don’t see the link between me asking and them asking. I for example do not like Pitbabe for the same reasons, the whole mama, papa dialogue is making me cringe and feel embarrassed, it’s not cute.
I'm probably the only one who's more annoyed with Jun than with Sorn.Let's not pretend that Jun isn't as big of…
Agreed! I got kind of annoyed when Sorn finally found Jun after 2 weeks of silent treatment and Jun just didn’t want to listen. Not to mention Jun giving mixed signals constantly towards Sorn, one moment he wants him, the next he doesn’t. I take a partner who physically wants me, any day, compared to having a partner who never touches or wants me.
Pfff watching episode 20 now, the second male lead character is pissing me of. How many more times does Bai Shuo have to say to let her go, that they have different paths to walk. It’s like deja vu compared to The Love Between a Fairy and a Demon (there that second male lead was also so desperate). To moan about Fan Yue bringing Bai Shuo in danger, yet he is actively swinging swords etc. And to top it of he also saves that idiotic second female lead. I just feel nothing but frustration and annoyance for those two. Does the second male lead really expect Bai Shuo and him to just go back to how they were, he’s delusional. Sorry for the rant!
Question does anybody know if this a full Chinese production or was this a collaboration between multiple countries like Meet you At The Blosson? Otherwise if it’s not I’m really wondering how this got through the sensorship.
Just finished the first episode, please somebody tell me the FL gets revenge on every single member of that family/household. WTF was that punishment for? Absolutely disgusting!
I had very high hopes for this one, because everybody raves about it, but sadly I found it dragging, at some point there is little character development. I finished watching it only for the ML.
