Rumor has it that the CEO of GIR has some weird grooming fixx on Smart, rumor has it also that she has caused troubles before. I don’t believe for a second that Smart would say no to a 5 year deal. Thats like a golden ticket for an actor, he would be idiotic to say no to that. But you have to ask yourself, with his talents, how is it that in those 5 years he is with GIR, he doesn’t seem to book any successes or get really noticed. Yet the moments he starts getting known/famous, GIR wants to pull the plug. It feels so weird and fishy!

You know that Oat is 30 years old! We have seen more compromising and exploited positions and scenes in BL series, this is tame so far. These actors don’t do things they are not comfortable with, nobody is forcing them, so far as I know. Hell we all know that with the nc scenes most of times they still have their boxers on. Unless we see explicit naked butts (kuch kuch KinnPorsche, 4 minutes kuch kuch) its all just for show!

I don’t like all these reactions of people waiting for Sorn to start suffering. Are we supposed to just ignore Sorn his trauma and pain? Honestly both are hurting but it’s very understandable why Sorn is keeping Jun at a distance, even if we the viewer already know Sorn has fallen for Jun. Sorn has very clearly some commitment issues because of trauma, he’s scared history will repeat itself. It might not be fair towards Jun but this is sadly how trauma sometimes is.

Being put into a position of being accused of being a pedophile and almost being put into prison, is going to leave its marks, it was traumatic and understandably so Sorn doesn’t want to be put into that situation again. Is it logical to just avoid relationships with all people younger than Sorn, no it isn’t. Is it logical to think that by not committing to anybody Sorn won’t get hurt, no because even without being in a relationship, you can stil get hurt. But sadly trauma isn’t logic, it’s all feelings. And feelings you cannot dictate or control! I do think Sorn should look for some therapy because he has some major unresolved issues.

But let’s be real, this whole thing started out as them being fuck buddies. Maybe it sounds very harsh but the fact that Jun got feelings for Sorn is not really Sorn his problem. The fact that Jun expects and almost pressured Sorn into saying it back is also not Sorn his problem. Though the moment one of them realized that there feeling were starting to be involved, the arrangement should’ve stopped or they should’ve talked about it. That didn’t happen and what is going to happen next are the consequences.

I have it honestly with both side couples. With the GL the beginning started weird, from seemingly hating each other, to being eaten out on a office desk was fast. And honestly I didn’t really like how Penny treated Sorn. So I fast forward their scenes. And with Thai And Champ they have had very few scenes, so I have no idea what to make of them. And I have to say Yoon looks uncomfortable with his co-partner compared to him and Ton. I know I shouldn’t compare but I did pick up on it.

There is a time and place for that. But honestly I do have to agree with the poster above, it’s was manipulation, gas lighting and guilt trips at its finest. This is not the moment to do that, even if Babe felt he had good reasons or intentions, he still hurt Charlie. If you hurt somebody you should apologize, not double down. It made Babe look like a selfish spoiled brat who only cares for his happiness. Even if he was frustrated, apologize, give your partner some space and time to cool down and then talk about what is going on and what your feelings are. Doubling down on your reasoning only makes your partner more angry and starts questioning everything. And no I don’t see having sex as making up, frustrations will still be there, since they don’t talk about it.

Im sorry if I’m triggering or stepping on people toes with this opinion but Babe disgust me, right now. He couldn’t even apologize, instead he just started guilt tripping and gaslighting Charlie. When Charlie did not do a thing wrong, Babe is acting like spoiled selfish brat, with his “why are you constantly in the lab?”. And the other members aren’t any better, Alan giving out Charlie his address to Babe, and all the others pushing Charlie to forgive Babe. Babe broke Charlie his trust, he risked his own safety and all are acting as if it’s no big deal. If Babe had communicated with Charlie then he would’ve realized that Charlie could’ve find out what’s what in 10 seconds (like we saw in this episode)! I just hope that Charlie leaves Babe because this is not how you show the love for your partner. Babe couldn’t even give Charlie space or time to think, let alone breathe! Babe stepped over Charlie his boundary like it was nothing!

Really him blaming Charlie because he is constantly at the lab, is him showing his love for Charlie? Babe saying Charlie was more into him when they weren’t even dating, Babe questioning Charlie on why they are still together is showing Babe his love for Charlie? Sorry but I strongly disagree! This episode showed me once again that Babe is selfish and only thinks about him and his happiness! He couldn’t even apologize to Charlie, with his sad victim mentality. But sure let’s all just praise Babe for being real, real in gaslighting and guilt tripping his partner.

I agree, but a lot of viewers seem to think that Babe didnt do anything wrong, because he did not cheat. Babe lied, with held and didn’t communicate with Charlie, he put himself willingly in danger. Like Charlie said, Babe didnt once think of what it would do to Charlie. So what if Babe didnt cheat, trust was still damaged/broken. Babe might not have meant to cheat but he had no problems letting Willy touch him all those times before, he had no problems going to Willy without his ring, he had no problems flirting with Willy and insinuating that he wanted a change from Charlie. Even with the right intentions or reasons, you can still hurt people badly! I just don’t have much good words for Babe currently, I wasnt a fan of his in season 1 but now I just don’t even have words anymore! Even if Charlie misunderstood Babe, Charlie stil got hurt. I honestly think it’s Babe who is misunderstanding everything, I would’ve like to see how Babe would react if the roles were reversed. Seeing as the last time Babe thought Charlie had somebody else (Jeff) he threw a clothing bag in Charlie his face.
Yes Charlie has become a pushover for somebody toxic, Charlie didnt have much self respect in season 1 but now it’s just sad to see. He reminds me of a trauma bonded victim, who can’t escape the person they are tied to. And honestly I’ve seen a lot of fans of social media say Babe loves Charlie, but so far I havent seen much of it. Charlie deserves better, he deserves somebody who wouldn’t ever have come up with a plan like that. And the saddest part, Willy would’ve never admitted anything about his powers, them not knowing his powers is Willy his biggest advantage. And if Babe had used his head, he would’ve realized it too.

This is what I said after I saw the scenes. Like for crying out loud Charlie where is your backbone? Why do you let Babe try to guilt trip you, why don’t you say anything. And honestly Babe forcing Charlie to stay, to not give him any time or space is disgusting. Give your partner some room to think and breathe if they ask for time or space, don’t use sex to “fix” things, or use it to get away with things. There is a reason I’m just wanting Charlie to realize he deserves better! Babe couldn’t even apologize, yet he went to Willy willingly!

Also Akin had his assistant managers with him to exactly not have that happen. Just because the assistant also got drunk doesnt mean that the company hadn’t protected Akin. Johnny saw his chance and took it. If the assistant stayed sober and brought Akin home, as he should have, it would never have happened!

Is it bad that I don’t really feel that sorry for Cousin Fan? I found her at times selfish and ignorant. It’s a good thing Wei Shao didnt marry her, he probably would’ve lost everything.

Finished it just now, I loved it. Dylan Wang will never not deliver an outstanding acting performance. It enjoyed watching this series, only thing I’ve noticed with Chinese Dramas is that they tend to rush the last 1 or 2 episodes (and tend to rush the last fight, that felt somewhat anti climatic). Even if you add the 2 clips as prequel, I would’ve loved to see some more scenes from this series.

Let me again say this: judging the FL on a couple of clips, without seeing or reading the entire series makes you sound very ignorant!

If you were open minded enough and was willing to let go of your already made up opinion on both the FL and ML, you would very early on see that they are both equal towards each other! You see it as the FL beating the ML, we, who actually watched (and/or read) the entire series, know that her smarts wins him the war, helps him overcome hard aches, yes she made mistakes and she paid dearly because of it. But it was a joined effort, something you are not willing to see!

They didn’t make the FL as some bad ass woman who needs to seek revenge or beat the ML! The ML listens to her ideas because she has been right multiple times. You see it as who wins or who loses, but as other people already told you, this series is to show that holding on to the past, holding on to hate and revenge only makes you lose more. Yes both ML and FL trick each other a lot in the beginning, which is to be expected if you want two people to work together after a fued of 14 years. Ofcourse they are not going to trust each other overnight, it takes effort and willingness to move forward and to let go.

Both FL and ML are open towards each other and help each other, to the point that the FL has no problems with going against her own family, even if that hurts her and breaks her! Both ML and FL decide together to let go of the past!

But then again you use words as being a “simp (!), being jealous, insecure and acting like a teenager in love”, and that tells me already a lot about you. You apparently need Male Leads to be strong, smart and cold, otherwise it’s makes him a loser, right?! How can you even say if the FL did or didnt deserve that treatment, if again you didnt watch the complete series and are basing your opinions on some small clips, from which you don’t even seem to understand the context of those clips!

I hope you find the series you so dearly need for your satisfaction, have a nice night!

You shouldn’t speak or judge about things you haven’t even watched yet, it makes you look ignorant! Weren’t you the one who a couple days back made the comment about her being on top during sex and that the FL should let the ML do his thing? Weren’t you the one who made a big deal about her not giving up her virginity even though the ML gave her a year as morning period!

Maybe the only advice I can give you currently is stop watching this series all together. If you already made up your mind about it without even watching it or having read the novel, than you won’t like nor understand the story!!

I wouldn’t have mind 2 more episodes, just to see what more happened to the rest of the characters. I honestly was rooting for Yan to have a partner, I know he gets his recognition but o wouldn’t have mind it if I saw him also happy with a wife and a couple of kids. I’m a bit sad that Qiao ManMan lost her cousin. The end battle felt somehow very anti climactic. Is in the books explained what happened to the fake empress? Did she kill herself. Also what was it that her punishment was? Was her nose cut in two or what? I enjoyed watching it and found the acting outstanding, only one I had a bit of a hard time with was Bi Zhi, the actor cannot cry convincingly!

Did you not see the towel fall? Willy was the only one who still had a towel on! Babe should’ve never put himself in that situation!

Let’s hope Charlie finally sees that he deserves better. Even if it was all a misunderstanding, Babe went there. After already knowing that Willy wanted him, he still risked it. Honestly in my opinion Babe has had more than enough time and chances to nip everything surrounding Willy in the bud before it even started, but he didn’t do that. He had no problems punching and pushing Charlie in season 1, yet he never did that with Willy, Babe let him touch him, time and time again. At this point Charlie deserves better! Any person would feel insecure if their partner went to a guy who already openly said he wanted his partner. Any person would feel insecure if their partner didnt distance themselves from somebody like that! Babe played with fire, which wasn’t even necessary, because he could’ve hired a private investigator like said!

Edit: and even if Babe felt the need to find out for himself, why would you go alone? Why not take anybody with you? That person could hide and step in if things got to aggressive or problematic. To just risk going alone, to a place where nobody else is. To somebody you hardly know, it’s just so messy and stupid to do!

Only reason I’m hoping Babe cheats on Charlie is because Charlie deserves so much more then Babe. They are such a toxic couple, or I should say Babe is such a toxic person. The physical abuse during season 1 wasnt cute or endearing. Flinging clothing bags into Charlie his face isn’t cute, yes Charlie withheld things from Babe but that doesn’t deserve such a extreme response. And honestly Babe isn’t much better in this season. “Teasing” Charlie that he needs to do better otherwise he’s going to look somewhere else. Not to mention him letting Willy even get this close to him, this whole situation could’ve been nipped in the butt by Babe long before it even started, yet he didn’t. Cheating doesnt just happen, there needs to happen a bunch of stuff before the physical part comes to play.

So yes I’m rooting for Charlie and Babe to break up, because Charlie deserves a guy who stayes loyal, who worships the ground he walk on, who helps him with his insecurities and who doesn’t get excited by being teased or flirted at by other men!

Does that even matter at this point? Babe let Willy come this close! if I was Charlie I would’ve been long done with Babe. Babe knew Willy wanted him, yet he still didn’t put him in his place!

Edit: Babe also went there knowing Willy wanted him, what did he expect would happen? And only because he wanted to find out who Willy was, you can hire a private investigator for that. Not play with fire. Fire that already made it very clear that he wanted Babe no matter what!

Finishing this series now after a friend told me about it being one of the better series. I have to be honest it started out strong and was fun to watch, But these last 2 episodes, what was that?

That the mother was somehow involved, was a given by the beginning of the series. That the guy with the weird eye was the biological son was also clear by episode 4. Only small surprise was Park Do Jae and even that was kind of predictable, especially seeing as he was the only one with a black sweater on, when Hong Hui was pushed.

It feels like the last episode completely destroyed the series for me. What do you mean Baek Sa Ean just ups and leaves Hong Hui without any explanation, and then they finally do meet (which is another train wreck, because what do you mean you just go to a country that is at war, and the spot you want to go to, is in the hands of the rebels, and you just don’t care?) you as a viewer find out it’s because the dad of BSE killed HH younger brother, like come on. At first I thought maybe BSE was the one driving, because of how drastic he reacted, but that didn’t make sense age wise. But the father/granddad? BSE had no hand in that, you couldn’t just have explained it to her? Communication between a couple is a thing, you know?!

I didn’t mind that they revealed HH deception early on, it made the conversations with 406 meaningful and it gave BSE a chance to get to know HH. But dear god, HH is naïve, too naïeve, how many more times does BSE need to tell you vaguely or with hints that he knows that you are 406, without actually explicitly stating it out right.

Some things really bugged me, I feel that way about a lot of series that have a hearing disability in as its genre. Is that most characters don’t even learn sign language for their SO but somehow we as a viewer need to believe that they care for and love their SO? HH and BSE lived together for 3 years and in that time he couldn’t even learn single words? I get not wanting to connect or build up report with HH, in case HH left, but come on.

I would rate this a 7,5 or 8 out of 10.
