Or are that the photos of Jin and Akin, I mean Akin his manager/producer (still not sure what the guy does) did warm Akin, that they scrubbed the phone of the stalker but that there are possibilities that the photos still got out. Though I wouldn’t be suprised if they use those pictures to destroy, do damage, to Akin, Jin or both their careers.

It’s quite curious that non of the fans of #JinAkinisreal hasn’t made posts or compared the necklaces with each other. I mean we all know that there are die hard fans in the real bl community, that would search and search, and compare jewelry from actors 😂

I do have to say that, I think some Gmmtv actors probably are also on the same level as YinWar, if only Gmmtv would use their talents. And not have them do the constant comedy, immature, high school dramas, where their acting talents don’t get challenged more. The last mature good bl drama series Gmmtv did was last twilight, in my opinion.

I do agree with you. Even more seeing the absolutele torment Johnny put Kin through, the moment Jin said you didn’t have sex with him, you can see the weight on Kin his shoulders falling away! His knees literally buckle.

And what does Johnny do? He laughs and mocks Kin not to mention the fact that he tried to get Jin also drunk for whatever reason. I do not see any redemption in him, he is not sorry. I personally do hope that the audio of Johnny saying all of it, gets leaked somehow. Or that they do something with it. He still touched, marked and undressed him, without Kin his permission. Honestly I find it all kinds of wrong. We all know that Johnny would’ve gone trough with it, if it wasn’t for Kim mumbling Jin his name. He even mentions and acknowledges it himself, so the argument “he didn’t penetrate akin” isn’t valid here (not that it ever is) because the intention was there from the beginning.

Agreed. I found Unforgotten Night such a let down. They couldn’t even give us a decent BDSM scene, it would be nice if the entertainment company’s, gave a series that gives a good representation of it. I see people recommend it as a spicy BL, but really there are much better ones out there.

I have to agree. Sadly I find Yoon stiff and emotionless at times. It’s one of the reasons I struggled to get through Unforgotten Night.

I’m pretty sure the opening scene is an scene still to come. Because this first episode feels more like reconnecting with each other, while the opening scene, feels like where the interns have been at the company for a while.

I know it’s been a couple of weeks, but I still would like to answer. Sadly a lot of actors use bl series as their stepping stone into the entertainment industry, acting world. Thats why some audition for these roles but then afterwards distance themselves from it.

Only one at fault is Johnny and he is the one they should be blamed! He should’ve kept his hands on himself, not take advantage of a drunken Akin. Thats honestly the only thing I’m really focusing on!

I agree. I’m starting to think that it might be just the average age of mdl users. It’s very easy to blame the victim (we see that in daily life happening all to often) or their partner. You should have seen the reactions during the airing of secret relationship, the amount of people rooting for the guy who was abusive and had anger issues was absurd. Not to mention how people reacted during the airing of When it rains it poors, where there were like, well he didn’t fight back, so it couldn’t be rape, even though it was clear that it was non-consensual.

People also tend to forget that these characters are human and make mistakes, they have their insecurities and imperfections.

For me it seems clear Jin wasn’t in the headspace to talk about things, he was clearly agitated and angry at Johnny. And Akin was still very confused and not ready to talk about it, which is so understandable.

Maybe it’s just me but I thought it was a good thing that they separated for the time being. Better to separate and work trough the emotions (in Jin his case cool off) and (self)reflect, then have a very heated discussion at that moment, where things are being said that they are going to regret later on or that could only break things more. Let them come back together and get their heads and heart straight on what happened.

Maybe it’s because (according to others) Peanut/ Johnny looks hot, don’t know what that has to do with it, he still couldn’t keep his hands to himself. Or the fact that the readers of the novel have said it wasn’t actually rape, that doesn’t make it better. The hickeys and bruises were still placed, while Akin was unconscious, which makes it non consensual and sexual assault. We as a viewer should know better, we saw Akin lying there on the bed, being unconscious and somebody talking advantage of that. That should be the vocal point, not what Jin or Akin did or didn’t do.

Agreed. This is a typical miscommunication and misunderstanding, they’ll work it out in the next episode. What point is it to have these heated discussions about Which person, should do what? It’s not like the directors are going to pull the episode, change it and air it again. It’s done. Only one to blame was Johnny, that low life can’t keeps his hands to himself!

I think after that confrontation with Johnny where Jin is already very angry and aggitated he isn’t thinking straight or willing to listen to Akin. I think if they both take some space, in Jin his case cool of, they’ll probably reflect and talk things out.

But that’s the thing, Jin doesn’t know what happened. Because Akin isn’t talking about it, which is for the viewers is understandable, because we know what happened. But Jin he didn’t see what we as viewers saw. He hears another man on the phone saying things like oh we are making/having fun, Akin then doesn’t answer his phohe anymore. And the next day, Jin sees hickeys on Akin’s neck. Should he have been more patient with Kin, absolutely. Should he have let Akin explain it, also yes. Shouldn’t Jin have jumped to the most extreme and wrong conclusion, absolutely. But to him it does look like Akin had sex with Johnny, it’s also because he isn’t told anything else.

But you can’t forget that Jin is human and has his own insecurities, makes mistakes and sadly he tends to be jealous and possessive but Akin can also be that. Jin is already agitated by Johnny, so he’ll probably also wouldn’t be in the headspace to talk it out or to listen.

We saw the preview of next week, it seems like they’ll get together and hopefully talk it out next week. They’ll be okay.

I get what you mean, but in when it rains it poors there was also a not clear scene if it was SA or r*pe. In the novel it was the last one, in the series it wasn’t clear for the viewer unless you read the book. The condom wrapper doesnt have to mean that Johnny went all the way, it could be that he wanted to but something stopped him. Could be that he put it there for shock value, etc. From what we saw it was SA, the bruises and the hickeys were all non consensual placed. But if it was r*pe, I don’t know.

Very harshly said but I rather have this and have it be as realistic as possible, with all the ugly consequences. Then those kdrama and cdrama where they somehow make the r*pist fall in love with the victim (or viceversa) and act like it’s all normal, peachy and fine. I feel like that is the way to romanticize it.

In this series I find it more mature and makes people want to talk about it. Even if it’s to say how uncomfortable it makes them. It should evoke emotions like anger, frustration, hopelessness, sadness, etc. It’s not a fun topic but by showing it how it is, that to me is how you make it not be normal

It’s the same way with abuse even though, sadly by just reading the comments under the series Secret Relationship, that is still very much romanticized and glorified.

Abuse, in any form or shape should never be normal or okay. What Johnny did to Akin is wrong, just so wrong and for him to think he can just take advantage of Akin is horrible.

It’s the scene just before the end credits role in. The manager gets a call from somebody, who he is asking to make a song for the series he’s working on. But with how things are said, it seems like there is a back story.

You understand the character that is Akin, I hated to see him lose scenes in the previous episode. And I feel like Jin doesn’t want any of the awards, he just wants to be as good as Akin so he can stand next to Kin proudly, yet still humble.

No it’s not just you, only thing I hated about the honey scene, was in the beginning during Jin and Akin kissing one camera was so shaky, it made it hard to watch.

Gmmtv never gives side couples (sorry to say but AouBoom never had a main lead role) a mascot or logo. On the website of Gmmtv AouBoom still stand as a unofficial couple. Maybe that will change after Only Friends, because that will be their first main lead role. PerthSanta are a official couple because they had their main lead role, also even though AouBoom has a lot of fans international, from what I heard in Thailand they don’t seem as popular as they are with international fans. MarcPoon are also still a unofficial couple, they also don’t have a logo or mascot, so far they have no main lead roles. It’s just how Gmmtv works.
