Rumors have it that the next project for Eliot and Kipuka is a live-action adaptation of the BL novel Tenacious Illness.

The only thing from those points thats was explained in the novel was that GT and SWL had a clearer ending seen from Lele’s perspective. The rest of the points you mentioned were never addressed in the novel. But I do agree, I would’ve liked to see them too in the series.

The wall of flowers was just meant for decoration, the flowers won’t go to the actors. It’s different.

For you it might not be a masterpiece, for others it is. Ratings reflect the opinion somebody had for the series. For you it’s an average BL, for others it’s not. I absolutely hated My Golden Blood and finished it somehow, my rating reflects my opinion. But others raved about it being an masterpiece.

Some rate it high because it’s a new genre, some rated it because they felt a connection to it, some rate it out of respect for the team, some rate it for whatever other reason. I myself rated it a 10, because it made me excited every week to watch, I rated it that because I loved the main couple. I rated it that because of what I said in my original post, the team worked their butts of. I also rated it a ten because the storyline, acting and characters were great. I didn’t care much about the second couple, so it didn’t effect my rating, but I can still sympathize with the second couple fans. I also rated it that because it has become my comfort series, and I have rewatched it too many times already.

Everybody has their own reasons to rate the series a certain way. You may not agree with that, same way I don’t agree with the massive down voting that is currently happening, but it is what it is.

So now people are even starting to compare this to Thai BL, let’s be real. Thailand didnt even dare to touch Omegaverse, it’s because Desire has been received so well, that Thailand is now trying to make another Omegaverse. The NJ sisters had a lot of balls to even dare to make an Omegaverse series, and an M-preg to boot! While being in one of the most homophobic countries in the world! They took their own money and made a series for us, was it perfect? No it wasn’t. Had it plotholes? Sure. But nobody can deny that the entire team didnt work their butts of to give a good series.

Fine if you want to down vote it, not like the sisters or actors are going to go by the rating on MDL. Desire has been practically week after week number one most popular and most watched series, that’s what they are looking at. Stream Rating (or TV ratings), merge (the magazines for example) being sold is what they are looking at, how many fans visit fanmeets or concerts, how much social media content the series and actors are getting. And so far all of that is out shining all these negative comments here.

I enjoyed the series, could it have been longer? Sure. Were the sisters able to make a longer series? For what ever reason that was not possible. Could they have edited it differently? Yeah they could have. But let’s have a bit patience and see what the sisters will give extra. Revenged Love ended what, 9/10 weeks ago and new BTS are still coming out.

I know the story, I read the novel! I still stand by my opinion even knowing the story. They portrayed his story fine in the series compared to the novel.

Oh please, there is opinions and there is straight up bullying! Have you even been in this comment section the past 13 weeks? If you had been, you would know it was personal towards the actors!

You should read some comments in the previous weeks. Not everybody understands that the series is literally about them. There have been plenty reactions saying the second couple should be main lead.

You don’t know what went on behind the scenes, I heard the NJ were crying during one of their live streams, saying they weren’t satisfied with the editing process and lost a lot of data because of it. How about you don’t speak nonsense without knowing what is actually going on!

I’m my opinion he had so many choices and options to change his life, he would need a lot of backbone and courage, but it’s not like he was completely stuck. I have a really hard time with characters who just accept the position they are in. GT his life could become better if he just went NC wirh his father, that’s financially already a less stressful life. And there are probably other options if he wanted to change his life. His boss and friend is powerful, I don’t think SWL wouldn’t have helped GT if he asked.

This, I’ve been saying it since episode 8 or maybe even earlier. Rich Alpha X Poor Omega, whose a damsel in distress who needs saving storyline, which is honestly a dime a dozen storyline. Not only Omegaverse but almost all BL series are like that.
