Ugh now people are claiming Desire wasnt a Omegaverse, because it was caused by a disease and it was not an original Omegaverse universe. This came after the Knot trailer where the company is claiming Knot will be the first Omegaverse.

I think I know the reason why people are calling that series a winner and comparing it to Desire. It has a very simple reason, it starts with a N and ends with a C scenes. Hell I’ve already seen people say Desire wasnt a true Omegaverse because it didn’t contain any “explicit scenes”.

Trying to get into it, and I know it’s a me problem. But honestly I’m getting a bit frustrated with the fact that 9 times out of 10 series, the reason for the issues, misunderstandings, etc, is the fact that somebody in the family or the near by vicinity of the ML, thinks they are entitled to more (title, throne, you name it), but that tends to already be occupied or in line of succession by somebody else. So they have to be eliminated. I think I’ve seen to many of these storylines, so I practically already know in which direction the storyline is going to. It’s hard to feel excited about it.

Also thanks to the comment section on iQIYI that plays during the episode I got spoiled over who shot the FL, which sucks.

I honestly never get the constant comparing. Fine if you want an uncensored Omegaverse series, but you don’t have to talk down to the pre-existing Omegaverse series.

Honestly after seeing the caliber that was My Stubborn, I’m just not that excited for Knot. Desire (and Revenged Love) couldnt do very explicit scenes, yet they stayed classy, elegant and sometimes the scenes were more like art. I personally think that’s a lot more difficult to achieve than the multiple explicit NC scenes. It’s not that I don’t like Boat and Oat, because I do. It’s more that too many NC scenes start to become kind of boring, in my opinion it’s a easy way to pull viewers.

I wonder if those fans know that a lot of Chines actors who acted in a bl or bromance series got cancelled, banned from seeing their co-actor, etc. If they leave the company it’s practically career suicide.

I saw it, don’t know how to feel about it. Desire was definitely an omegaverse and Pitbabe had omegaverse notions.

I’m team Best Friend. If the translation on Gaga is right, so far DoHa seems to still see Ha Ram as the Team Leader, which implies that there is an unbalance in relationship, even if DoHa doesn’t work for the company anymore. Boss/Employee kind of look. I didn’t really like that Ha Ram decided to have their date in this super fancy restaurant, while DoHa mentioned he wanted to “buy a meal next time”, especially knowing that DoHa currently has no job. It’s kind of like the Team Leader expected to pay at the end of the night. Of maybe pull a “I’ll pay this time, the next one is for you” move. There is definitely respect but does DoHa harbor feelings except that respect, I don’t know yet. I also can’t help but feel like maybe the Team Leader had something to do with the leaking of the proposal. He was vey confident that Do Ha had nothing to do with it. Also he had found very quickly a new job opportunity for Do Ha. But maybe the series Secret Relationship has made me too suspicious 😂

The guy from the coffee shop or restaurant is to direct and to pushy, feels a bit creepy, but who knows in the upcoming episodes.

DoHa seems to have an equal relationship with Taek Gyeon, they have been good friends for some time, so they are comfortable together and trust each other. I also really loved that moment when DoHa tested code red, TG dropped everything, started seeking and running on his slippers.

I do think DoHa should stop drinking so much alcohol, he clearly can’t handle it. Though the situations he’s creating because he drunk or tipsy are hilarious.

No hate, but the NJ sisters already said there won’t be a season 2. They do want to continue with Desire but than in short stories, audio moments, etc.

Yes there is a extra chapter where Peanut visits SWL and GT when he came out of school and asks where Lele is. Lele is sick and Peanut was worried. There is also a extra chapter where HY and GT went to take the two kids to an amusement park, but bad people try to kidnap them while HY is driving them to the amusement park. Of course thats like the shortest kidnapping ever, seeing as HY was in the car. But it is implied in the novel that the kids grow up together, and that the 2 couples remain good friends.

It was supposed to, but that didn’t happen. Director New blamed it on them having the wrong script or something like that.

No you did not misunderstand, the writer or screenwriter made some weird decisions in those last few episodes, which created plotholes and actions by characters that don’t seem totally normal. The episodes felt rushed. Lin Yan being practically fatally wounded, survived from a wound where his intestines are visible, yet within a couple days he’s totally hunky dory.

Agreed I felt the same way. I honestly was looking forward to having them all back in the future. I had already seen spoilers about the ending. That Lin Yan meets Shen again, so I wasn’t that suprised. But honestly I was waiting for the family to reminisce about the past, how different it was etc.

I found it especially weird seeing as the brother remembered the ex wife in the past, and that moment where they realized that the portraits were the same. The same way the family was so adamant about LY and Shen not being together because of Lin Yan being their ancestor. It doesn’t make sense that they didn’t remember, as if the rest of family were NPC’s or something. The same for with Lin Yan in the past, nobody remembered but him, yet somehow those portraits were still hung up. It kind of feels like the author or scriptwriter had no idea how to finish it, so they went with this ending.

I hated how the family brushed it of as it’s just a dream. My heart hurt when I saw those scenes where Lin Yan was all alone, waiting for Shen to come back. And yes I got a bit frustrated with how long it took for them to get together. I was practically screaming at my screen for them to not just stand there and stare, like hug, kiss, whatever with that last scene. I was waiting for Lin Yan to get back together with the family, hoping they would welcome him into the family as before, but alas it will just have to be an ending in my imagination.

It’s kind of typical for Chinese dramas to have this big plot, big conflict which needs to be resolved, and than the climax or ending of said conflict is over quite quickly and usually in the first like 10 minutes of the last episode. The Double, The Legend of the Female General, Prisoner of Beauty, Blossom, The Untamed, Are You The One, Fangs of Fortune, Story of Kunning Palace and dozens of other series have that.

Only series that gave me similar feelings is the Japanese BL Punk Triangle.

They definitely knew each other in 2021/22/23. Fans of the couple have been down their social media, it seems they were together in a lot of the shared photos, which looked to be private settings. I don’t know if it’s true about 8 year, but it could be possible. Eliot did indeed recommend Kipuka, twice even.

You mean Keito? To me it seemed that Kataoka had the respect of the younger members, the older ones seem to rely on hierarchy, the legitimate son take over. Where as the younger members just wanted the one they respected and admired.
