"Shadow" combines traditional beliefs and modern fantasy narratives. The story comes from Han Jie (played by Ke Zhendong) who committed a mistake as a child and became a "Shadow" to redeem himself for the third prince (played by Wang Baijie) and deal with the things left behind in the human world. All kinds of troublesome incidents caused by lonely souls and wild ghosts. While handling the case, he accidentally met the cute and optimistic female college student Ye Zhiling (played by Chen Yanfei), and also met the criminal policeman Zhang Ming (played by Yang Mingwei) with yin and yang eyes, and worked together to fight against Wu Tianji (played by Xue Shiling) who disrupted the order of the human and demon worlds. As the "ghost errands" are dealt with again and again, the sense of mission as a ghost is gradually aroused...

"Applause for Love Tonight" stars Yang Jinhua, Ella Chen Jiahua, and Wang Baijie. They will start from a female perspective, through the two heroines, a sex therapist (played by Yang Jinhua) and a case seeking treatment (played by Ella Chen), using the sex consultation center as the main venue, using "sex" to explore gender relationships and self A story of identity that calmly addresses sexual issues.
In October (like a day or 2 after the release of the teaser), a bunch of the cast and crew posted apologies and thanks for feedback messages. Apparently something wasn’t well-received and theyre reviewing the project on how to fix it. In the meantime, cast and crew have moved on to Flavor of Us.
It does appear that they plan to still produce it, it just seems like theyre back in pre-production to fix whatever the problem was (havent found that particular info yet).
