I understand what you have said, in my defense, I have to say that I dropped this and it's a review not after…
I have not yet. That day i was on mobile and the ads were too frequent. Will be trying again when at a computer. Probably tomorrow, i have the day off work.
Overall I had a rough time with this series. If i was watching alone, and without someone I trust promising me that there will be storylines I will like, I wouldn't have finished this myself. The humor, overall premise, and FL are really not for me. But there is an aroace character (i will watch just about anything with ace characters at this point lol) as well as some nuances with all of the characters. They're terribly flawed people who have clung to sexual experiences for various reasons.
I think it is 100% valid to not like this, but I think your review fails to recognize that there are reasons people may like the series beyond "having weird and derogatory fetishes."
All 3 of the main cast have been found and added into MDL. Looks like 2 of the main cast have already been acting in dramas/movies, while one has been mostly doing music videos until very recently.
Stay tuned for the edits to be reflected on this page.
It looks like this is the official site of the filmmakers as they work on production: https://www.tumblbug.com/spring_not_fall
It looks like the intention was to submit to a film festival.
And it was comprised of students from Dankook University - so potentially a class or extracurricular project?
I do believe it was completed - the fundraising goal was exceeded, the top donators were to receive a private video link to the film, and I think i recall stumbling across a tweet from a person who claimed they watched it.
Given the silence, perhaps they dismissed/shelved the final product after not getting into film festivals with it? Especially if they mainly saw it as a class/club project. Or if there were rules about distributing it after graduation.
All speculation. Every once in a while i go on a deep dive to try and locate any new information, and there hasnt been any in such a very long time. Im sad. This seemed like such a great production.
I really liked the synopsis. What do you call it when the 'bromance' is between a gay man and a woman?
I get where youre coming from by seeing "bromance" and "sismance" as being a close type of friendship. The type of friendships that are so close that theyre essentially family - thus the name. But between people of opposite genders, people often say things like "theyre like a brother/sister to me" rather than putting a special label on the friendship.
But general friendships can be very close too without having to use the label of "bromance" or "sismance." So there's nothing wrong with just using the word "friendship" to describe them. It doesnt have to denote a lack of closeness. But i suppose another word you could use would be "camaraderie." There's also "buddy," "bosom friend," and "bosom buddy."
Perhaps im missing context in the above conversation (deleted or edited comments perhaps?), but i feel like it was rather aggressive? For instance, perhaps you had forgotten the word "friendship" (either as a brainfart moment or as someone who isn't a native english speaker, idk.) I dont think the degree of defensiveness was necessary - at least with the conversation pieces i am seeing rn.
It seems like common complaints from reviews around the internet talk about how you have to pay close attention because there's a lot of details that are easy to miss, and can make you confused if you do wind up missing them. Presumably, that's also part of Nyx's complaint (MDL review above) with the post-editing making transitions clunky or unclear.
I'm also reading that the CGI can be quite weird. But that's to be expected considering the budget and Thailand's unfamiliarity with space sci-fi (Im reading that this may be Thailand's first or second space scifi movie, and at the very least their first in a long time).
I can't wait till this gets onto streaming after doing the rounds around theaters. I can't wait to watch.

With a IG Story from their page saying that they actually started the auditions this week (August 5th): https://x.com/blup_dates/status/1820445649000702003 (screenshot of the story)

Anyway, fingers crossed for this one!
