I'd also like to point out that the line between LGBTQ/Queer media and BL media is getting increasingly fuzzy as more and more real stories and queer actors /crew/creators get in the industry. And while some countries have historically made the distinction between the two, other countries have not.
I think it's important to keep an awareness of history of the terms and industry, but also to understand that terms have always and will continue to evolve (even "BL" is an evolution of other previous terms) and that people are coming into these stories with different lens from all over the world.

Ah, gotcha gotcha. Yea, i think i came across that commentary before. But i tend to take it with a grain of salt. Not many people understand just how much asexuals fake being allo. And it's not like there's "checking out someone else" to help people catch on to the lie. Most of the asexual signs get read as being nervous.
