You definitely bring up a good point about it probably being because they focus on one couple at a time. Perhaps partly because of that very reason, this could make for a good beginner BL - i know that an intriguingly large number of people complain about getting confused when there are too many couples (which I believe is because they're getting the hang of the subtitles) so this one couple at a time, with each couple getting equal air time could be a good approach for them.
Most fluff series are pretty short. A longer length would usually entail either a slice-of-life approach (which doesn't tend to do well), or added angst. But I feel like we'll probably see a bit of at least Nuea in part 2 which focuses on Fah.
Ok is it just me or does it feel like this is 2 diff shows sometimes. Like im sorry but they went from talking…
If you are only looking at dialogue, then yes that question came out of nowhere. However it appears that the question was prompted by how Kleun was looking at him. Furthermore, that line about not liking change/adjustments could be seen as a double meaning that could imply that their feelings dont change easily - once theyre set on someone, theyre set.
Something to also keep in mind: we're dealing with translations. Even if they're the best equivalent lines (which is hard to do), theres no telling what cultural subtext we are missing in that translation/adaptation.
I don't really know how I feel about this series. It's ok. As one poster noted, another uni-type series. But in…
I definitely don't like how often the top-bottom hashtag argument comes up in the dialogue.
But I wouldn't say their overall dynamic is too off from reality. You've got a quiet confident one, and a talkative prideful one. So it's more of a couple trope than a seme-uke trope - we see it in a significant portion of straight stories as well. And there isn't too much of a hierarchy thing going outside of their very basic personality traits that I've listed (as opposed to similar characters Sarawat and Tine) - so I wouldn't say they are on unequal footing.
First 2 episodes was cute and lovely, but in ep 3 we starting to watch the flews of the characters and the drama,…
They've all liked him since the beginning. But all of those comments and moments were made in passing while we focused on Kluen and Nuea. This episode it became forefronted.
As for the everyone isnt gay comment - i can attest that queer people (and many other marginalized groups) tend to wind up in the same friend groups as each other, even without really realizing it, so this particular fact doesn't bother me. Everyone having a crush on the same guy, despite logically having different tastes - now that one does seem too unrealistic to me.
Am I the only one bugged by Kluen not saying whether or not it's his girlfriend despite being brought up so many…
Im convinced she's like a childhood friend or something that he just doesn't think its worth the effort of clearing up. But seriously, he could at least make it clear the Nuea who has brought it up on multiple occasions. And it's not like they're getting interrupted and that's the reason - he's dodging the subject. I'm quite frustrated with him about it.
I say it everytime i see it that i wanna do a filmography for it!! XD
I know I've seen it in some other ones. But I can't remember exactly. Tonhon Chonlatee? He's Coming to Me? Im Tee Me Too? I could be totally off base, but those are 3 that I'm having trouble remembering the details of the houses they take place in.
Kluen not letting it click in his head that Fah is Nuea's brother, and Nuea not understanding where the confusion is, was easily the highlight of my day so far. XD
Done!. i love it??? How should i say this.. tho the plot or storyline are cliche, can be cheesy and cringy BUT…
Absolutely, it's super cheesy but so good. I return to it every couple years or so. The OST is killer - and it's what got me into Bii's music (who was also played the 2nd male lead).
GagaOOlala (one of the official platforms) says there is a total of 12 episodes.
Interesting, they do indeed. Perhaps theyre utilizing different episode cut points? Theyve done it before. Or perhaps viki is counting special/behind-the-scenes episodes (which gagaoolala doesnt tend to put up)?
I dont think it's reincarnation (not enough time has passed), but there are several ways that he could be Wen-Wen:Trans…
Its the fact that this isnt a heavy drama that makes me super hopeful for the trans storyline. Most of the ones i see are either melodramas or comedies - so it would be great to see a more natural approach.
Yea, thats been my leading theory since the beginning. But there are definitely a few others (see my other comment on this thread). While plastic surgery is pretty common and relatively affordable in Asia, gender reassignment surgeries are not (at least outside of Thailand and a few other places). And this topic was especially tricky in Taiwan for a while (https://www.feministcurrent.com/2021/10/14/gender-identity-legislation-is-being-pushed-through-in-taiwan-will-women-get-a-say/ ). So its definitely a reason for them to move.
But at the same time, the flashbacks with Wen-Wen dont show Wen-Wen being uncomfortable or uneasy with Yu He constantly shoving the fact that Wen-Wen is a girl in Ah Le's face. And they moved shortly after these flashbacks. So while I can definitely see Amber getting the surgery/ies while abroad - I'm not so sure about him and his family leaving for that reason.
AHH I hate when they dont show previews :( I like coming up with all sorts of crazy nonsense.. lolAmber's secret…
I dont think it's reincarnation (not enough time has passed), but there are several ways that he could be Wen-Wen:
Trans or intersex? (this is the one i'm leaning towards the most). The twin brother of Wen-Wen who crossdressed and got mistaken for Wen-Wen? Raised as a girl due to superstition (like in Bromance)? The result of some experiment that is also the reason why he's scared of confined spaces? (this one is less likely and keeps becoming even less likely as the series goes on bc there's no build-up; but a few of us came up with it back at the start because of the title and intro imagery).
It released on AISPLAY, with replay on Channel 3. So i hoped it would go up on Channel 3's YT, but it didn't.…
Then its channel 3 on television. Bc the author's posts on social all say that it plays on Channel 3 an hour later. So Channel 3 is involved, just probably not with streaming.

But even if he did use P' with Fah, there would still have been the same confusion as its used for anyone older.
