Interesting how my opinion differs from the above reviewer. I actually think this might be my favorite season so far. I liked the wider range of restaurants visited - both in cuisine and in temperament/atmosphere. Some of the dishes were quite simple, not really dishes i'd go to restaurant for, but i appreciated their inclusion as a way of appreciating the simple and humble classics as well.
And we also got a little bit more of a glimpse into Wakako's daily life, really solidifying this drama as food x slice-of-life, instead of just food.
This office romance consists of 20 episodes (each of about 3 minutes), but only the first 3 will be free to all viewers. The remaining 17 will be behind a channel membership paywall until production costs are recouped, a choice the producer made after much deliberation and consultation with viewers and peers. Not only is the microdrama format new to her, but so is the vertically filmed format.
Set in the same universe as "She Makes My Heart Flutter" and "Out of Breath", this latest production from Soo Not Sue Studios focuses on Yu Bin (played by the same actress, Choi Ji Won). It was announced towards the end of 2024 with an original planned release of around Christmas but was delayed for multiple reasons.
