Can't understand the love for UNCONTROLLABLY FOND, thats one of biggest bore fest in the history of bore fests…
It's a drama that looks like it was filmed a decade earlier than it was. Really bad sound, really bad cameras, terrible set pieces, old, old, old fashioned style acting from the previous century when it was shot live by enthusiastic amateur performers. I cannot believe it's made in 2016.
Why does my heart sink every time I read "The Glory screenwriter"? Is that a medal? I love some of Kim Eun Sook's work, so is that what we call her now? I'm going to say it: I feel like she's sold out. Fair play to her.
They're dubbing it? 👀But i prefer Korean only. The leads voice is too good
Dubbing is for the visually impaired and illiterate audience. It's inferior to the actors' voices, Korean is a beautiful language to listen to, especially the way these great actors enunciate, it sounds like music. The ott providers are going hard after the final few percentages of audience share still to be won over. Small margins can make all the difference if one provider were to beat the others to this remaining market share. They can't stop expanding even when the market is saturated, they look for more and fight for it when another company, like Disney, closes in on an untapped supply.
She's ok, but ranks 3rd in the GG league table for me. I thought she was poor in K2 and that's where I first saw her... 1. Choi Soo-young 🫰🫰🫰 2. Kwon Yu-ri 🫰🫰 3. Im Yoon-ah 🫰
I'm not a fan of web-toon adaptations. For me, they need a great screen writer to do the adaptation, otherwise they're a little 2-dimensional in character definition... and basically the spoilers are already widespread. It's a good looking drama though, hope it works out well.
Both kdramas that I’m excited for, King The Land and See you in my 19th Life, are releasing on 17th June. For…
Is it possible MDL has its facts wrong and there's another platform with viewing rights? If not, Netflix seems to be throwing its weight around, like Disney. We'll all end up going back to the dodgy sites like the old days. Nothing good lasts forever, oh well.
Thanks. I never miss a chance to have a go at Disney even when I'm wrong! How old's the webtoon? I saw an American drama a few years ago along very similar lines, forgot the name though.
They're already in the process of submitting trailers/posters. I hope they can really air this in August like…
Don't get your hopes up. The longer the delay, the less you should expect. It's Disney's hallmark for every turd project it develops, they spend shit loads on post production trying to polish their turds. And they always end up as total garbage.
Han Hyo-joo is fantastic. It's not the right time to do a superhero drama though. The world's got sick of superheroes and Disney is making one turd after another. It's lost all its integrity and all its respect. Tedious. The social struggles of gifted superheroes 🤮, please, can Disney be any less imaginative? Don't expect any decent writing from them.
