The other episodes were great but the writing in episode 9 is all over the wall: Gael swearing eternal love, knowing how much Dech loves him, and then asking for Dech to perform the dark spell again so he can leave is totally bonkers and off character.
That ending was cuteness overload! When Ongsa started singing, I melted. The Matrix scene was really funny and the father-son moment in jail was great. Loved this show: great lakorn, lots of crying, melodramatic with all the tropes and cliches they could fit, engaging, everybody was great. Thanks to everyone involved!
Episode 10: Chai’s performance as Price Vatin here was the best of the lot. He got a chance to do more than shout this time and he didn’t disappoint. The doctor has only two modes: palliative care, and palliative care and she’s dying now. Eed had the best lines. Poor Phob is the top crybaby of the series. The director and Eed got from Ongsa his best with the deathbed scene.
As I tend to get easily confused by relationship terms and talk, may I ask if you could explain what where the…
It's just a hunch because of writing tropes. He is a poor, fragile, quiet, very discreet guy in a world full of powerful creatures being chased by the police. What better disguise for a vampire? Poor doc could be in danger!
The first two episodes already made me forget all the really awful GMMTV vampire series! (Kidding: I can never forget all the hours of my life I wasted watching those stinkers.) Slick, sexy, I don’t know how someone can forget a handsome guy they pulled out of a washing machine a couple of years ago, and the A.I./VFX are well done. Anyway, that Chita guy is a red flag.
Just like Edge of Horizon’s Chat, everybody’s problems would be solved if they just let Jet go to jail. (Also, the whole drama about selling the shop to the son-in-law who will absolutely keep everyone there is too much.)
That was adorable. Bas was magnetic as usual but congrats to everybody involved. Don't listen to the naysayers nitpicking in the comments below. It's a nice little drama.
Everybody is a lobbyist... Having watched everything, I still don't see why all the complaints in the comments below. It wrapped up neatly (even though there were so many secrets and so little time that they had to resort to voice-over explanation). The finale cliffhanger is just a shocker, and a nice one for that. But there's plenty of things to do in season 2 and damn you producers if you don't give us season 2!
Amazing how doctor Ram works 24/7.
Or you could just let Chat go to jail and everybody's happy.
Oh, and Pentaii deserves to be a star.
