Ok, can someone explain why Save wears the same polo shirt all the time? When does he wash it? Does he have multiple copies of it in his closet? Is it superstition? A promise?
The main issue with Nut as a character is that everyone else keeps saying how cute and talented and great he is but all the series shows the viewers is a traumatized angry grumpy self-centred guy who cannot deliver a single page of good script to his boss. From the audience’s point of view the only reason for all these people to cherish him is his handsome face (I.e., not enough).
So far so good. Top production and direction. Only wished they had switched the leads' roles: Doc suits Bible's menacing charm much better. Korn's having the most fun while everyone else is miserable.
It was great up to around episode 8. After that, it was excruciating to watch with lots of explanation in the finale because the characters in this series basically talk over each other rather than talk to each other. and has there ever been a more boring villain than Somchai, who spent the entire series laughing manically and clapping?
There’s a great story under the bad writing and both Given and The Eighth Sense have done it much much better. What’s missing from this one is evolution and catharsis. You can only have so much toxic relationship before sending your characters to a proper therapist. The ending is so rushed after all the feet-dragging of 6 episodes that it doesn’t feel earned.
Does he have multiple copies of it in his closet? Is it superstition? A promise?
Production team: Jane’s place with lots of NCIS, Bones and the like in his movie library.
