Trust me 'she and her perfect husband' have nothing on 'youth should be early'. At least the title is grammatically…
yeah, i hate when they think english speakers need a dumbed down version of the title. most of the poetic stuff sounds nice if you just translate it well. ten miles of peach blossoms is such a pretty name, regardless of language. oh well XD guess we're stuck with "falling in love" "fall in love" and "fall in love with you" lol XD

The plot is no for me. But I love the leads acting, the cinematography and the stylist. That help a lot for me…

haha, yes. its like saying "my breathing wife" lol. i dont know. funny thing is the korean name is actually quite clever and it just doesnt translate well.
maybe a better translation wouldve been "that woman who's my wife" or "that woman i married" or something lol, cause its meant to be have that feeling of "a guy i know" except its with the word wife.

like i know the kidnapping scene was meant to be sad, but what really broke my heart was xiaobao knowing he's going to die but being happy to be looked after by the princess and get to hold her hand in bed, and their little efforts to try and help the other secretly.
my heart, hurts very much.
i think the princess is also very very kind. she's trying to save herself, but she won't do it at the expense of anyones suffering. xiao bao is ignorant of normal ways so he might do some things wrong, but his heart is in the right place, and he adapts very quickly when the priness tells him why its wrong to do something. its not like he's dumb either, he's very smart and crafty, but he doesnt really use his intellgince to trick her or manipulate her behind the scenes. he's very upfront and honest with the princess, as opposed to everyone else in the stronghold who he is continously outsmarting.

up to ep 21 cause of subs.... 2nd couple has taken my heart. they're such a lovely couple. i kind of prefer their scenes but theyre both very sweet. i dont think its the actors fault but rather the writing and production, but hte main couple tends to get hte more exaggerated scenes, that sometimes are hard to believe, but the more mellowed out scenes of 2nd couple really touch my heart

ok, this was pretty melodramtic, but it was really entertaining i must say. i little difference from the things i usually watch. i still feel they made the ml too evil in the beginning, it was hard to kind of root for him when he turned nice but ya know. this is defs a melodrama done right, tho still i guess its not my style cause sometimes the amount of tragedy is just too much to be realistic. anyhoo, still a fun experience

oh thats great. yes i also admire people who know when to put their foot down (and alsot those who know when it's time to ACTUALLY apologise). theres nothing wrong with admitting mistakes, correcting your ways and moving forward without shutting the whold production down. theres also nothing wrong with standing firm against illogical complaints by jobless people online hahaha

oh i actually plan to watcht that soon but havent heard any of its news or anything. did they have problems with getting it aired??
yeah, you know i see a striking resemblence of this situation to the restricted lives kpop idols now have to live. absoluetely 0 freedom because they listen to every single thing netizens say online and apoligise for even basic human rights like dating. if you don't give them power and dont listen, then there's really nothing you can do. yes, maybe you wont have such an intesnse fandom who thinks its possible to one day date you, but what you will have is loyal fans who respect your private life, cheer on your future family, and will only judge the music and entertainment you produce for what it is, not how you live your life like a normal person with needs.

fair enough, the production is probs extremely careful in doing anything out of line. i can understand why no one wants to touch a "problematic" project, at the risk of enraging koreans and having no viewers, plus losing sponsers and therefore funding, but alos as people who create art, i wish drama producers would stick up for creativity and just... telling a good story, which is what dramas aree meant to be about without all the politics. I mean chinese dramas are completely held back by censoring and so every drama is the same, and the producers have to fight so hard to try anything new. i know essentially it's a business that makes money, but i'd like to think that out there are actors, directors, staff and crew that really care about making a good story, even if they have to work for less. and those people will eventually be praised in the long run for keeping their integrity and will have proper respect. and korea doesn't even have the extremely strict rules that china has.
it reminds me of the recent cdrama "imperial coroner" amongst all the shitty scripted, trope-ridden hisotircal cdramas coming out, here was one with clever characters and a clever script with a production that clearly they had put their heart into. well it was meant to be cut down by like 5 eps or something cause the actors were unknown, but hte production crew fought so hard to maintain the quality of hte show and only havea couple eps cut. they also did everythignn in their power to cut the budget down to keep those extra episodes, sacrificing their pay, making props themselves, searching for cheaper products, literally scraping for a couple dollars in every way possible just to keep the show as it was.
and now it turned out to be one of the best shows of this year and everyone loves it, is willing to support that crew forever, its rated so high on chinese internet too.
so i get what you're saying with not wanting to really support creators who won't fight for their work. i know they're probs under immense pressure but still, if anything it'll probs be something you've seen before

lol, im really dumb. i thought that ep 1 was about her life after being in jail. how the only job she could get was at a tollbooth, which pays nothing adn she has to do odd jobs cause no one will hire an ex-convict. also why her mother-in-law doesnt like her, why her boyfriend always says "you've sacrificed so much for me" and also i thought the ML thought his gf was dead from the carcrash and has been living an empty life but the "secret" is that she's still alive ....
yeah but then the carcrash happened after all that so lol, now i just feel dumb. hahaha, ok then.

the crying scene in the first ep shouldve made me sad but i couldnt focus cause of teh way she cut that cake lol. ive been watching kdramas/cdramas for years but my brain still cannot fathom the idea of eating a cake in anythign but a slice XD just digging into it with a fork feels all types of wrong. is it cause the icing isnt equally distributed? lol
i dont know, but my western brain never even thought about the idea of eating a cake any other way lol.
does anyone else feel serious cake-abuse in these scenes lol.

I think this accident will make Korean drama downgrading. Because writer will pressured to not make any mistake…
this is the real problem of this whole thing. its not even about this drama anymore. now people will be afraid to take risks, investors won't touch anything risky, neither will actors, writers will be so careful to write anything stories will become boring and the same. its really sad. its kind of a the downfall.
it gives me stark similiarties with how kpop stars get so much hate for literally anythign that its reached a point where they cant do anything or say anything. its really bad for creativity.
