Apparently there is a newly created form of genre:- The Fiction-Non-Fiction genreDefinition: It is not real but…
hahaha, i guess with this new genre, we should cancel the movie Ratatouille as well. can't have the ignorant masses thinking a rat invented ratatouille. now im getting flashbacks of that movie that made abe lincoln a zombie and the other one where he was a vampire slayer XD i guess fiction-non-fiction takes out every "what if......" genre. congratulations. creativity and imagination is dead.
I was not even planning to watch this but I felt bad that this was cancelled. I understand that mistakes were…
youre so right. so maybe MAYBE the image of a historical king was protected (in a show that is clearly fictional, hello vampires and zombies?? but ok) but you know what was ruined? the salaries and hardwork of the korean people who slaved away for this production, the efforts and image of some of koreans finest actors (like for real, this cast was so A lister) i dont understand.....
Imagine being so pressed about the accuracy of a drama, you get it cancelled -_-Like bish what?!This was suppose…
creativity is dead. i guess people cant write anything these days. let me tell a secret as someone who majored in writing. (literally all novels are written from a writer's personal life. they take jokes their friends have used, situations that have happened to them, things they read in articles, news stories, celebrity gossip, and just change the names and locations) but i guess you cant mess with anything anymore. cant write interesting stories. cant have interpretations of things, or parodies...can't combine fact with fiction anymore... i mean all you need is a disclaimer. "this was based off a true story" "some parts of this are true, some are not" "this story takes inspiration from real life people but not all events are real" even "this story is completely fictional. any relation to real life events is merely a coincidence" like its not that freaking hard. i hate it here. this wouldve been teh best show
The english title is not good imo lol I prefer the direct translation of the Chinese title "The 80/20 Law of Love"…
eternal love of dream XD i just finished watching 'A love a lifetime" whatever hte hell that means. Avenue X on youtube made a parody song on how all cdramas have "love" in it and its so true. recently i watched "love o'clock", "the secret of love", "in love with your dimples" hahahaha
and if it's not that, its my love, my lady, my boy, my husband hahhaa or Mr fox, Mr Gu, Mr Ling, so many Mr gu's
and of course the classic. adding anything after "oh my" oh my boss oh my ghost oh my perfect husband oh my ceo oh my lover
The english title is not good imo lol I prefer the direct translation of the Chinese title "The 80/20 Law of Love"…
ooh yes. thats much nicer. what one earth is "she and her perfect husband" lolllllll its funny cause most of the chinese titles can be translated directly and it still sounds cool but then they always make some obscure english title like "forever love" instead XD hahaha. like the drama, "Serenade of peaceful joy" which isn't a bad name, but the translation "held in a lonely castle" sounds very nice as well. or how about the famous "10 miles of peach blossoms" that became "eternal love" lol. so much love haha
yessssssssssssss, the dialogue is top tier (i can tell even with awful subs) its like the drama is character driven…
omg. you just made me realise they literally traded in a kidnapping scene that lasted an entire episode over closure lol. wtf. you couldnt even make the 3rd couple appear on screen. you just hear his voice on the phone. sigh. ngl, tho, i think it was petty funny for them to end the show back at that thai police station where they have to "follow the local rules" and take a picture for their wall hahaa.
the grammar in the title is right but it still annoys me somehow hahahaha (doesn't her and her perfect husband sound better?????? i think they could both be correct tho, as its not a sentence with a subject or object???) well now ive said the title so many times it kind of sounds right.... dammit hhaha i think hte main issue here is it should actually be "her and the perfect husband" lol
yessssssssssssss, the dialogue is top tier (i can tell even with awful subs) its like the drama is character driven…
omg i feel. wth, they never resolved the 3rd couple which is so annoying. they were my fav. i think the best episodes were after he got his memory back. the real story started thre imo, and hten the last couple episodes were kind of cliche and annoying with the kidnapping. wth. well i still enjoyed it but yeah, ccant believe the lawyer and her friend never got a proper ending. thaat makes me so mad.
who doesnt love this trope. heck, anyone loved zayne and rikki from h20 just add water LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
i like it cause the characters interact without boundaries right from the get go cause they hate each other. in a way it's like theyre the most comfortable and "themselves" with them. they don't try to be polite to each other, say things they dont mean, or try to impress the other.
i dont really know where it's going or what im watching for?? i dont understand who im meant to even be rooting…
ok, it got better near the end and their relationship even became a bit sweet near the end but my impression of the both of them was so tainted from the first half, i couldnt really get into it. also they never did anything with minji and kyungwoo. sigh. i really hate stories with messy love lines that lead to nowhere. maybe its more realistic to life but its so unsatisfying to watch as a viewer. like i finished this show with a "ok. so that happened" nothing was gained. nothing.... happened.
i really dont know what to think about this drama. it gives me such a dilemmna (how to spell lol)
i dont really know where it's going or what im watching for?? i dont understand who im meant to even be rooting for. im talking of course about the main couple. all the otehr characters are nice and intersting to watch, i just. first the guy was way too overboard and creepy. it wasnt intentional and he meant well, but still, doing those things when you're not already in a relationship (and where he just couldnt take the hint) was wrong of him . in the begining i really liked the girl. she was kind to him when he was being normal, even gave him some chances, but firmly rejected anything overboard that he did. people hated her for being cold to him, but just cause he's cute doesnt excuse him being creepy. she has every right to be angry at him when she'd already said no a thousand times politely.
ok so that was maybe eps 1-5 and at that point im expecting the guy to tone it down, realise he's being to pushy, and then maybe they can actually get to know each other as friends and actually have a real convesation where she isn't a cold block of ice.
but ok. no character develepmemnt because they actuallly start DATING! what. ok, its fine, i think, this is her giving him a chance. maybe she has decided to see where it goes and try it out with him because after all, he's not a bad guy. NO. ok now it's time for me to hate on the FL, cause what the hell. is he your dog? slave? pet? annoying younger brother you can insult and push away? you're being TOO cold for a realistic person. im sorry. and the ML is still pushing everything. he has that attitude of the crazy side-chick in kdramas, the "loving you is my choice. ill just make you love me with effort" ya know, the crazy 2nd fl that's off her rocker. yeah. thats what he is. so now im at about ep 12 and all i see is this awful toxic relationship that's being so forced. why does he like her this much? why does she treat him below human level? what am i watching, and who am i rooting for? i dont want them as a couple anymore. i dont even know. i dont know. what am i actually watching.
wait by 2 times, do you mean actually two times in the whole drama.... im confused XD
omg wow. ok, lol, im guessing he was like "away at boarding school" or something, aka, so our fl still has the appeal of a single lady lol. that's funny
someone save that child from that household. seriously. get ren-kun out of there. if i was that woman i wouldve…
omg. it got better, but then it got worse in ep 6. im sorry, but you cant be irrationally mad at a kid like that just cause you loved his mother or something wtf. ALSO, theres no way you tell a little kid to "get out of your house" wtf. maybe to a teenager, but to a little kid? where the hell is he supposed to go? he kind of found his way to the girls cafe, and i know he goes to school by himself everyday but does this kid have a phone or money? omg no. and he just lost his dad, what kind of cinderella life is he living, the actual trauma and pyschological issues he must be facing. he must feel so alone and unloved. im so mad hahaha.
someone save that child from that household. seriously. get ren-kun out of there. if i was that woman i wouldve already kidnapped him and taken him back to my apartment, even if im immature af and have no money, i could do a better job raising that kid. i kind of get that the uncle is suffering from grief and may no have the mental capacity to handle a child (tho from the looks of it, he's always acted that way anyway) but how is editor just hanging around the house, acting like its ok to treat a child like that.
for anyone who was put-off (like me) by the idea of the girlfriend falling in love with his brother after her…
actually he was her first love in highschool. she kept asking him out and eventually they dated for im guessing a couple days or something then he moved onto another girl. shes like 30 now, so the boyfriend who died was just her first "relationship" if that makes sense, so it doesnt feel like "betrayl" or whatever if she actually falls for the brother.
for anyone who was put-off (like me) by the idea of the girlfriend falling in love with his brother after her boyfriend dies, its not actually like that, so dont let the synopsis put you off. is this a spoiler? i dont really think so, i guess i'll put it in a spoiler anyway but
unpopular opinion? i actually really enjoyed the first episode. it was an unusual setup for a cdrama, the cinematogra[hy felt fresh and so did the ML. it was intriguing to watch. the cheesiness people keep talking about, i kind of only felt that in the rest of the drama XD but not the first episode, so i was suprised to read other peoples comments

no for real. free ren-kun.
