yeah, imperial coroner is great. the ship is really cute and the detective story is really clever hahaha

okay, especially the beginning parts. they totally got me with his love for extreme sport and how straight-faced he was doing all these crazy things (later we find out its because his exgirlfriend totally destroyed everything within him and he was just, unable to feel anything after her, which i think is so interesting. must also be why he joined that performance workshop. basically him and the female lead were on that trip and at teh workshop for the same reason. they got p0wned by life and just wanted to feel soemthing and live again. and honestly..... usually cdrama characters get scarred so easily by past relationships, but after seeing the exgirlfriend and how much of a nut she is, i can totally see how he turned into that emotionless ceo who avoids women like the plague and refuses to get into a relaitonship

wow. im so glad i didnt listen to the pinned reviews. this show had its flaws but it was honestly so unique i was never bored. it was sort of slice of life, with the most interesting characters and a wide diversity and settings that you don't usually see in cdrama. i guess i was just, intrigued by the freshness of it all. of some originality in the ceo/secretary type of drama. (of course it has stereotypical things too but it was dealth with a sense of realism???? maybe the acting wasnt as cheesy as usual so even cliche scenes were just fun to watch)
it was like watchin a serious network make a romcom, with unique actors (omg, thank you diversity. no one looked the SAME, and they all had character, even the crazy exgirlfriend, she was just fun to watch on screen because of how insane she is... oh yea, and they can actually act)

im not one for "harem" type shows, but this one did it amazingly (mostly cause it was only a harem type show for like 1 ep) and the only reason i thought it was was because they actually CARED to explain the other characters and their backstories and flesh them out and i mistook that for "oh, there must be multiple main guys in this" like, i forgot that NORMALLY, supporting characters arent just there to be fillers and they have their own stories to tell.

finally i liked that the FLs background and motives weren't cliche. i really liked her story, her approach to life, there was tradegy in her life (like a lot) but they never focused on it, its something we've seen too many times)

i just.... really liked this show for trying to do something different.

and i love the younger brother. he's such a nice guy.

ok plus, each love story was really interesting. lol, like even the playboy ceo and his cold vice president, i wanted so bad to see if they'd end up together. this is a great watch if you're just bored with every cdrama.

i think he has always been attracted to her. she is obviously his closest friend (from the way he shared those photos and stuff with her) tho its not obvious in the beginning. he likes the attention she gives him that resembles girlfriend behaviour (aka. picking him up when he's drunk, making him coffe, just doing stuff a normal Vice president wouldnt do) but still kept her firmly in the friend zone, despite always calling her beautiful and occasionaly spoiling her LIKE she's his girlfriend.
of course then he sometimes totally ignores her and hangs out with a bunch of other women. so its like he wanted both worlds (which of course, feels like shit to her) getting her love when he wants it, without the unstability of a relationship, and also, no chance of a breakup. he was always attracted to her, and probably liked her a little bit but wasn't going to pursue it any further because of the risk of losing her. so i dont think he was ever desperately in love with her like she was and just supressing it. i think he was instead surpressing the chance of his interest growing any further.

their ending is pretty much him realising their friendship is over whether he likes it or not, he pushed her too far because he was selfish and there's no going back , and that it was now time to take whatever feelings he had and properly explore them because she's forcing him to stop hesitating, and she's too important to him to never see again.

haha, youve pretty much seen everything id reccomend then lol XD well new hisotrical dramas are always coming out hahahah. if you want more serious (but still with romance) there's Under the Power, Young Blood, the Imperial Coroner, theyre all detective type shows. and if you can handle tradegy, Goodbye My Princess is good (tho a little draggy). Theres also Bloody Romance which people either love or hate. its kind of edgy. yeah XD thats literally everything i can think of. hahaha,

literally same. watched it in 2 days. didnt fast-forward anything. this show is so interesting. i literally thought itd be the cheapest worst show ever from the comments and reviews. what the hell. this is such a gem. i almost ignored it completely....

omg yes. ive seen a thousand cdramas. never was i so interested and intrigued in every character. for real. excellent character writing. i never thought any of them were "filler" characters just made to help the story along or give the leads someone to talk to. seriously. the villianous exgirlfriend was acted and written so well. she was a comple and utter psycho but i loved how it was acknowledged that she was insane by all the other characters and not portrayed as normal behaviour. the actors were all diverse too. this drama had a sense of realism to it, i dont know, all the characters felt real. maybe cause there wasn't as much cheesiness or cliches in their character personalities.

the secondary couple was great. especially the younger brother. wow, i loved him on screen, the actor and the character he played. so amazing.

gotta admit, the fl kind of bored me near the end, but i loved her in the beginning and how they actually gave her a unique purpose to follow... nothing i've seen before anyway, that made her actions and what she was pursuing fun to watch.

oh theres also "i've fallen for you", "hold on, my lady" (its pretty short but still good imo) and "sleepless princess" (goes a bit weird near the end, but i enjoyed it haha)

to all the people who have learnt to write code, or write code for a living, do people really type that fast when writing code? i cant imagine its so easy to know exactly what to type and write it up so fast with 0 errors (which i know, if theres even a missing decimal or random spelling error, the code won't run properly) idk, hackers and IT geniuses are always portrayed like this in movies. how legit is it? im sure there are prodigies in every field, but that fast? i dunno XD

LMAO. that same music that just repeats from the exact same time stamp over and over again. it reminds me of an animation project i had to do, but i ran out of time to edit the music properly (or at all) so each section just starts with really loud music from the beginning of the song, then just cuts off straight onto some random other song liek XD why does this LEGIT tv programme sound like my half-assed assignment i probs failed XD its honestly hilarious.

wow, i think the main guy is a really talented actor. why....... why do talented thai actors have to act in such stupid shitty scripts. WHY. i think especially with thai actors, they have a nice realism to the way they perform, but then lakornss are just so crazy and dumb. like wow, id love to see this guy, or mark from My Husband in Law in a properly written script. they'd do incredible.

yeah its a shame. oh well, you get the hang of the ratings after being here for a while lol XD i think lakorns are just rated in their own genre. like its good for a lakork, but if it was a serious piece of drama work, it should get a 5 hahaha

yeah i agree. i think cdramas are defss the most inflated, then kdramas, jdramas are judged super harshly. thai dramas..... i dont really know XD maybe theyre majorly inflated or i just dont get lakorns LOL i dunno

i agree. well, i just kind of adjust the scale in my mind. any kdrama over 8.0 is good. any cdrama over 8.5 is good. any jdrama that is 7.5 is good llol XD

to be fair, im shocked a jdrama is even reaching 8 levels. id say any jdrama rated 7.5 or higher is usally a good show XD for some reason people are so harsh on jdramas on mydramalist

hahah, all good, everyone has things they find funny. to me its funny because she doesnt even try to be convincing XD its exactly how a princess stuck in the palace all alone would interact socially imo XD i dunno, reminds me of rapunzel from tangled and how weird she is haha. your english is really good!
