I read on twitter that sxt's mention on her live how they cut the after wedding scene (there's even a photo of…
omg. are you serious? WHYWHYWHY. why would they cut it? and then other bad dramas have like 40 episodes. i dont understand at all., do you know where that picture is ahahha
Gave it a try after reading all the comments here. Im not disappointed at all even thou there was a lack of romance…
omg yes. wth, when the guy died and then it showed 0.5 seconds of their wedding and then went to ending credits i was honestly just like. NO. you cant ddo this. why rush the ending? give us some closure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what the actual hell.
excuse my language but WHAT THE FUCK was that ending of ep 21. i nearly had a heart attack. what kind of jump scare.... i was watching this show late late at night too. i cannot believe this show did this a second time.... i think during the car crash scene too? and when they got presents from antis? they just have these random moments of thriller/horror like wtf. i did not sign up for this, im trying to destress after a long days work. can you not just change genres so suddenly. (YES im aware this drama is tagged 'thriller' but for 99.5% of the show, its not. literally these 3 scenes adding up to about 30 seconds are the only parts, its so weird)
After finishing this drama, my opinion of it remains the same: there was so much potential that was wasted on…
yes to everything. couldnt have summed it up better. i will add there were a couple scenes in this show that shined amongst the awful writing that really surprised me. too bad the whole drama wasn't like that.
This show had cute vibes in the beginning, but my god this has a terrible plot. The worst stories are when the…
yeah, i agree with the youngest brother. they could've done way more and made it flow better. i literally did not see that coming though so i guesss they pulled one over on me. i really didnt expect him to be evil XD i wish what led him to do such crazy things was their whole family dynamic. i really hate how everything was blamed on him in the end and everyone else acted like they were saints, when lin sheng was actually the least problematic. the dad made them fight for the company, raised them toughly and clearly didn't validate lin sheng enough to feel like he was wanted. his two brothers fought viciously with each other and he was either always caught in the middle of it, or cast aside like he said "a puppy" like it wasn't any of his business (which hurts really) like him turning evil shouldve been the turning point for everyone to reflect and realise how awful they were being. i was really expecting a big scene from the youngest brother, complaining about how his brothers never stopped fighting and how he just wanted everyone to get along. but they totally didn't explore that. so his turning evil just seems really odd and out of character., like what? he did this all... for power? XD that doesnt fit with his personality though. and if he wanted the company, it would be to make everyone stop fighting or to prove something to his father and brothers to not neglect him.
why does no one in cdramas dive properly into a pool. XD they put their hands up and then just bodyflop into the water lol. look im not expecting everyone to be athletic in the show, but THE athletic guy. why did he dive in like that XD
hes so two-faced and i cant really understand his intentions at times. he seems to be a nice person underneath…
ok ep 18. i love their dynamic XD he asks if she'll cry for him. she says 10min max to annoy him, but he just laughs. when she asks why, he says "isnt that too long?" lol. i think he likes to suffer XD and i also think he THINKS he likes to suffer but can't handle it. in this ep already, her usual dismisssals that used to entertain him are actually hurting him. i wonder how they will turn out..... if he can handle her personality... or if she becomes a betteer person
yeah i think he plays a really good "daomingsi" type of character. he also looks effortlessly elegant in everything…
yes, thats why i compared him to dao mingsi who even when he's going totally off the rails when he gets mad, he still maintains that picture-perfect regal look. its what everyone loves XD the man with more to offer kept in the golden cage lol. i think his bulldozing personality is part of his charm and makes him a realistic "rebelious" young prince who never quite fit into the palace life. i think his anger-management is also a serious flaw, caused by his past scars. he's gotten better as the drama had gone by. characters like him have an intense fire within them, they just need to use it for good instead of getting triggered and hurting people everytime something goes slightly wrong
I agree the make up artist did lousy job with all wounds and c drama do illogical with wounds but I enjoyed this…
hahaha, i noticed the makeup in bed thing too XD its not like they have to have her totally bare face, but they could at least give her some more natural looking makeup for the sleeping scenes XD have they ever heard of the no-makeup makeup look hahhaha
yeah i think he plays a really good "daomingsi" type of character. he also looks effortlessly elegant in everything…
lol glad someone agrees. i wouldnt blame anyone for not continuing this drama because of how dodge the logic is, but i couldnt give it up because of him LOL. his presence is captivating, and his exiled prince character is great even if poorly executed. i watch alot of costume cdramas and personally think its very hard for someone to play a royal family member, they need to have that graceful but intimidating aura about them. he does a great job lol
I agree the make up artist did lousy job with all wounds and c drama do illogical with wounds but I enjoyed this…
omg XD i really didnt know the world was so dangerous or that papercuts required actual disinfectant to clean it lol. does anyone even own whatever that spray stuff is that they like putting on bruises??? whats a bruise anyway XD it just goes away on its own lol. i literally cannot with that trope im so over it. the job climbing thing is just insane, although i'll give this show slight credit becuase his family is already rich and powerful so i bet it was easier... but still. I personally find it annoying how all the women in cdramas are so gossipy and mean to anyone with some worthy news to talk about, even if it's their friend, they'll write them super catty and say really awful things. like this isnt even the antagonist speaking XD people arent like that in real life hahah
True , he is character with mystery. On the face he might be smiling like idiot without but underneath he might…
yeah, true. i liked him from the moment he pretened to enjoy his fans presence but then whispered in his managers ear to get rid of them LOL. and he's so weird like you said, i'd deem him a not very nice person, someone who only plays with people's emotions... but then again he kept everyones secrets, even helped out both of the twins. it's like he does strange things for his own amusement but he's not going to hurt anyone from it. its like that "but why?" meme. he's not really hurting anyone but its also like... why would you do that? which shows he's a little twisted inside lol.
I agree the make up artist did lousy job with all wounds and c drama do illogical with wounds but I enjoyed this…
yeah i wont hold any show against it because there are tons of things like this in cdrama that you should just ignore because thats just how they are and youre never gonna enjoy any show if you do that haha. im pretty used to all the typical tropes including this one, but something in me just snapped i guess LOL. i think i finally reached my quota lol. but i never thought about it the way you said. thats such a funny contradiction XD the characters are doing crazy stuff like extreme dieting, digging their wounds into a table corner but then they need to be princess-carried whenever they feel slightly lightheaded lol. literally what is going on hahahXD
Most of dramas start good but got draggy in the middle and have unsatisfying ending. This drama is the contrary.…
his "pretending not to care" acting not to care is the best XD i love the angst. especially when he lies, like when he said "i gave your books to lianglen (whatever her name is), is that a problem?". scenes like that. his pride gets in the way so he says and does things he doesn't mean.
Episode 21, the actor playing the ML is so good, he is just right for this character. His frustration at the trappings…
yeah i think he plays a really good "daomingsi" type of character. he also looks effortlessly elegant in everything he wears, like a real prince, i often think some of his scenes and the way he looks in them are stunning and painting-worthy. especially when he's brooding or sitting on the banister, plus the few well-written speeches his character actually gets are sometimes acted so well. it almost makes me mad that the script and dialogue isnt very good as it doesnt do the character and his acting skills justice.
omg something in me just snapped when i saw this drama use the old "let me bandage your wound" make a big deal out of a little scratch, howdidthatfallevenproduceawoundimconfused trope multiple times. its got nothing to do with this show which honestly has a better script than most cdramas and actually tries to make a different story (but maybe thats why it made me so mad to see it in this show)
but can we all just take a moment to think about how dumb those scenes are. i actually feel like my brain is melting when i watch those scenes. like why? why as an audience am i being treated like an idiot. is this a kindegarten play or a legit tv series that airs on tv? what are these unrealistic portrayals meant to even DO? just please, if you want a romantic bandaging scene, make the character get into an actual accident that makes sense and is serious. and PLEASE stop overreacting and shutting the whole production down or stopping the whole party just because someone twisted their ankle or got a cut on their finger. the FL does NOT need to be escorted to her hotel room for ANY of those reasons and take a "rest" omfg. even if she did hurt herself enough to actually need an icepack or somethign, she can just freaking stay at the party and sit down or something XD lol, i literally cannot. i mean there are tons of illogical scenes in cdramas but this one just really...i cannot ignore.
